Talk about a scam

For all the ads you guys put on YouTube, you’d think that this app would be free considering y’all have money to spend on ads. Total bs you guys charge up the butt to use this stupid fing app that a normal person will use once a month at most. F you I took time out of my fing day to sign up for this app just to get charged for no reason I didn’t even use this app

I cannot imagine my life without Calm app.

Since I started to use Calm I sleep much better and I fall asleep faster. I think Calm is worth its money. I use calm on a daily basis and now I cannot imagine my life without this app.

SCAM don’t put your credit card in a trial. They will charge even if you unsubscribe

You must google search: “Calm App Scam”This app does not care about users. I tried their app as a trial LAST YEAR.On 2-3-2020 my card was charged even though I have unsubscribed last year. I wish I can upload the screen shot. What an awful customer service. Here’re the events:Nathan at Calm Inc from feedback at support Dot com responded to my email regarding a charge for 59.99.He responded with:“Thanks for your message. After carefully reviewing your case, I’ve determined that your purchase doesn't meet our conditions for a refund. We are usually able to accommodate refunds requests within 30 days of purchasing a yearly subscription and are not able to offer refunds beyond 30 days from the purchase date.”To which, I responded:“My card got charged on Feb 3 2020, which is less than the 30 Days you mentioned. Please help refund my account. “Keep in mind, he responds 1 email every 24 hours. The next day at around 9:30pm PST, he responds with:“ In order to locate your payment, please provide as many of the following details as you can:Any alternate email addresses I can check for associated chargesYour receipt (If you don't have a receipt, please send an image of the charge on your bank statement)The last 4 digits of the card that was charged and the card's expiration date”I immediately sent my details. He then responds the next day with:“Unfortunately we can’t locate your account.”Does that mean you are charging my card without even documenting on your end who is unsubscribed or subscribed?? What is going on?At this point I must write a review and share this terrible experience. Imagine a mindful app that is out to get profits from you. They do not care about users. They only care about profits. Deleting this app.I’m better off with Headspace app. At least those guys are honest and they can find your user profile just by sending an inquiry.

it is a pure scam

it is a pure scam . They asked you for your bank details and when you want to stop the trial period, they said you that there is no trial period with which you have subscribed. After that they took the money from your account. You can complain to the federal trade commission website.

I downloaded the application and was aware there was a free trial period. I canceled prior to the renewal day but still was charged. Apple wouldn't refund so stuck with this solution. Application constantly crashes. Would not recommend this

I hope others see how this is a scam before downloading!!! I was also affected. I put a note on my calendar to cancel on 1/3, but my card was charged on 1/2 (like others noted — midnight on the 6th day). The only customer support is via email, and they say to contact Apple, which refuses the refund. Want to see how calm you can be after someone steals $60 from you and refuses to give it back? If so, try this app...

Rubbish. And subscription policy is deliberate attempt to scam money out of people who forget to cancel

Causes MORE stress by their underhanded subscription policies. They charge you at midnight on the 6th night of the 7 day free trial. So I guess technically it’s 7 days ... but geez that’s shady. Absolutely no way of getting a refund. Already tried and Apple said I didn’t qualify. Such a waste. And I hate that Tamara lady’s voice. Rant over.

I found Calm in a pretty hectic time in my life. I never even thought about meditation before, but I looked for something that will help me to relief the stress I had from work.I found Calm to be pretty useful. Listened to it for few months before sleep.I must say that I DO think it's a very pricy app and I'm not sure what to do when my yearly subscription will expire.
