because i travel a lot im in different timezones, and email marketing is my main business so its refreshing to see the support can help me when im in crisis mode no matter what country im in

Useful for my subscriber base

Im starting off with a small subscriber base and the starting plan fits my needs perfectly so I hope i can grow enough to warrant the other plans

AVOID if you use integrations!!

OK platform but if you rely on integrations, forget Aweber.They refuse to disable the double optin confirmation. We asked three times. Our business is clearly legitimate (to do with English teacher stuff) but they just refuse to accomodate my request.That wouldn’t be a deal breaker except we went to five people who tried to download our guide and hadn’t opted in - all five couldn’t find it - until they checked their SPAM folder. Yep, all going to spam.As a result, 80%+ of the people downloading have not confirmed their optin. Our automation won’t fire because of this. We are burning cash on ads and this is killing us.They don’t care and just sent info why this was better for me. They suggested we just tell people to look in their spam folder. Like that’s somehow good for building trust with our subscribers. Really annoyed I now have to set up a bunch of new automations and integrations elsewhere. Two pro accounts are today becoming zero pro accounts and I’ll never recommend Aweber again. Angry face.

I have seen more scary movies that his TOOL

They have affordable prices and is very good that they have the automatizations / auto-responders (they call it "campaigns") included in the price.Also the support is pretty kind and friendly.The deliverability, as far as I tested, is working very good also.But there is ONE REASON I decide to go away from aweber and I really don't understand how these people are still in business with the HORRIBLE TOOL they have. The most simple things (something other email marketing companies do in the most basic level) are impossible to do with Aweber.¿Example?Imaging that you want to check the quality of your subscribers. Would you like to know if your subscribers opens and clicks in your emails? Do you want to check if the money you are investing in your list is worth it?Well you CAN NOT.Maybe you think you can export that information and maybe work with that outside of aweber. Well, you CAN NOT.They don't think show you how your list is performing at glance is something basic for any kind of business.You can talk about this with his support and they will have very good and kind words but the reality is they don't listened the complains or at least, they don't do anything about it to solve it.Regarding the company comment below: You can see their response. If you want to check, for example, how your last 300 subscribers are performing (opens and clicks) you can go, ONE BY ONE, in his Activity Log which by the way doesn't show you Open or Click at glance, you have to manually count! It's hilarious.

The confirmation email goes to SPAM and…

The confirmation email goes to SPAM and cant be removed because the aweber team blocked it from the system. When you ask for help the support team just send you articles over and over again. Didn't solved any of my problems.DONT DO EMAIL MARKETING WITH AWEBER.

They Send Your Address With Your Email…

They Send Your Address With Your Email , That's Not good we don't want to send my address to my subscribers but there's no option to remove address from email . Worst service ever deserve negative Rating

You won't get your refund

You won't get your refund when you cancel within the free trial period 30 days.Their modus operandi to cheat is as follows:You buy one quarter with the first month free. You will be billed for two months. This is ok.You cancel within the first 30 days, the free period.You will get a mail stating that your request has been updated, your account will be canceled at the end of the billing period, that is at the end of three months. This is NOT OK. You request the cancelation within the free period to get back your money. Now, when you request the refund again, AWEBER will say that you have used their service for 3 months hence no refund.AWEBER on their own keep your account active for 3 months though that was not your request, thus technically cheating you.This is an UNETHICAL company. Beware.

Aweber will SUSPEND your account :)

I recently joined AWEBER and I have been importing list from Mailchimp. That was no problem at all. I then upload a list which was scrapped from internet. The list was uploaded smoothly I sent a newsletter to the list. I then uploaded 2nd list of emails which was scrapped from internet. The list didn’t go through. I thought there was a technical glitch. I tried again. But still didn’t go through. I tried uploading the same list of emails the next day. The list didn’t go through. There was no error message shown on the screen. 2 days later my account was suspended. When I enquired from AWEBER Helpdesk they told me that I have been uploading - found, purchased, or shared third party leads and those are strictly prohibited in AWeber. I told their FRIENDLY help desk import specialist “IAN R" that I did not know about this policy. And can they re-instate the account and I will be mindful of not using scarped list. Now here starts the WORLD CLASS customer service from IAN R. He told me "We had warned you several times against this practice of taking email addresses off of websites to send them unsolicited email.” I thought he had sent several warning emails to my registered email id. I checked but there was no email from him. Maybe friendly IAN called me. But no calls.So I mailed IAN back and told him, I did not receive SEVERAL email warning mails from you. Then his response was even more creative. He said "The warnings were displayed prominently in the Import History page in your account where you would see the results of an import. This did not require accessing that email address to view the warnings.” And I am wondering where are the warning displayed prominently on import page. Maybe they are hiding in their “Terms and Conditions” links. Poor me I missed to read the T&C.Every company has their terms and conditions, which I totally agree and would like to abide by that if I am using their service. Here are the issues with AWEBER1. They do not show warnings prominently on their import screens. They should clearly display on the screen “We will SUSPEND your account if you import scrapped list.” 2. Even if by mistake customer uploads the list, mail the customer warn the customer. If customer does it again then surely suspend the account. 3. Remove rude customer executives like IAN R. They will just spoil your reputation .I have decided to move to other service provider. Now they are not even giving my data that I have uploaded on AWEBER. Outrageous!

Arbitrary customer list rejections

Every customer list that I imported they would make arbitrary rejections if they didn’t like the list. Very puzzling since all the customer lists had the same structure. Even thought it took me 4 hours to set up with a new service it was well worth the time to get rid of aweber.
