So I ordered a graphics card for my new computer on the 14th of December last year and it got delayed for like a month and a half just to get cancelled for no reason such a waist of time and it's been cancelled for 3 days now and still no refund this is just sad
Dell has bad support we mailed the laptop and they said please call us I called them they said email them back it’s been 4 days no response I’m telling you if u buy from Best Buy spring for the extended warranty so good.EDIT:ok dell has returned the laptop now it’s ok service it took maybe around 22 days note the laptop didn’t arrive yet
My experience since the last of December 2020 to today, Jan 22, 2021, is one of disgust. My Inspiron IS STILL NIOT FIXED! Their service has run me around, had me update the BIOS and Wi-Fi drivers, strip my applications from my Windows environment, promised me they would bring parts (motherboard and hard drive with Win 10) and then NOT. They have WASTED days of my time staying home and waiting on service techs. Every one said they would be back the next day with parts to do the job right and it never happens. DAYS, then weeks go by with no communication. I will NEVER buy a Dell service contract again, and NOW I’m not sure I will buy a dell again. Their service is not doable for those of us that depend on our computing products to get production done. I am traveling away from home teaching and needed my Inspiron to work. Having to borrow other people's laptops is very unprofessional. The one thing that showed me they don't care about getting the work done on time is that you labeled my problem priority a "medium." I expected more from Dell. Since Dell has jobbed out the support to foreign non english-speaking countries, your service has become rated at the low bottom for the industry according to IDC and not worth the hassle of owning and paying for. I have had the absolute worst experience the past 6 months trying to get Dell to repair my laptop. Originally the battery was the problem which I had to pay $180 to repair as it was not under warranty. BUT GET THIS: when I got my laptop back from the repair shop all of a sudden there was a decent sized white spot in the middle of the screen that was burned into the monitor that would not go away no matter what I tried. I called Dell back to get it repaired - no answer - I emailed them - no answer. This went on for a few weeks until I gave up and decided to follow up come the new year. 2021 came around and I called Dell told them the issue and I had to escalate the issue 4 times up the chain to finally get a supervisor with any kind of authority to “make an exception on their 90day policy.” This was absolutely ridiculous. They claimed that because I was contacting them past the 90 days of repair (repair was originally done in June, then I tried following up to get the white spot fixed and no answers or call backs for 3 weeks, then I gave up) that they wouldn’t cover the repair cost FOR THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED. This is insane. They caused the damage and wanted me to pay for it? This cost me hours of time just trying to call them back to escalate the issue to get it repaired OVER AND OVER again until finally someone with an ounce of grace and compassion was reached. And even when the final supervisor “gave me an exception” she was super cold about it and still claimed it wasn’t something they considered to be exception worthy. Dell need to figure there customer service out as I will NEVER be supporting their products ever again and will steer EVERYONE clear of their ridiculous greedy customer service.
This is a followup to my previous review. Ordered a Dell monitor on 7-Dec-2020 - Order No. 876463062 Initially delivery estimated to be 22-Jan-2021. Yikes!. Have received several conflicting and ambiguous emails from Dell Customer Support some quoting earlier delivery. Yesterday I got an email from Dell informing me that delivery has been delayed until 28-Feb-2021. In the meantime I have received multiple emails from Dell asking me to rate my enjoyment of the monitor. Laughable.
I bought a DELL Inspiron 17 7000 lap top delivered in September 2020, on December 20 the mother board failed. I was advised the replacement would be ready January 25, 2021 but was offered a refurbished ( read used ) replacement. Subsequently told mother board would now be available February 16,2021. Don’t buy Dell.
If I could give them a “0” I would. The service is beyond deplorable. Absolutely UNHELPFUL. I paid for “premium support”. Here I am THREE WEEKS LATER and I still never got a box from Dell to ship the computer in for repair, and my daughter needs this computer for online school due to COVID. She’s been going to school on her phone while Dell has totally bungled this repair. Ridiculous and horrible.
I bought a new PC with a dual SSD/HD setup. It didn't work properly, and they told me I'd have to pay them to fix it, even though it was an issue out of the box. I will never purchase another PC from this company! It cost me $200 to fix it through a local IT company. I just contacted the company again, and they maintain that it was my responsibility to fix the PC. Completely unacceptable!
Dell DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought a laptop in the beginning of December, the delivery was due to 30th of December. The order was delayed for days. Now they said it’s delivered, but they didn’t. The customer care, should not called this name, because they don’t care. It’s the worse call center ever. I’ve sent a bunch of email with no replies, wrong replies, they don’t read what you write. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM Dell Technologies anymore. I still don’t have my computer and so upset with I’ve going through.... DO NOY BY DELL, guys!!!
