Calendar day vs 24 hour day

The Sendinblue representative was very helpful, in English to boot. I'm a new user and don't understand some simple things. For example, in my entry-level plan, My limited number of emails renews every day. But not every calender day. I had sent a number of emails in the evening of day 1 one and another number in the morning of day 2. My campaign was suspended, and it took me a while to figure out why. The daily limit is for a full 24 hour day, not a "calendar" day. Although the representative was helpful, he did not point that out to me right away. Instead he simply said : because you reached your limit, which I knew already. The other point is that sometimes when I schedule a campaign, its real send time is one hour later than expected. Apparently, Sendinblue software does not take into account daylight savings time. Got to say, the representative was very helpful once the problem was understood.

Review of amazon

Create an account, so they will charge you $148k

I wanted to learn AWS by creating a new account and utilizing the free-tier resources.I didn't do much, other than opening one unused free ec2 instance and a database, clicked around for two days and thats it.Months later AWS started sending me invoices 30$, 40$, 50$. I paid them, thinking I clicked somewhere wrong and that it should be a lesson for me to learn, then I also deleted whatever I had opened.Even though they were free, apparently they werent.Months later, AWS still charged me 40$ or so.It was an unused account and these guys were charging me random amounts.Even my account support type was randomly changed to "business" so I was being charged premium every month.I finally opened a ticked and explained the issue.Luckly, they did whatever was necessary then reimbursed the last few billings. So I thought eveything was good.Later on, my unused account got hacked somehow and I received emails saying "Irregular activity".After receiving this alert multiple times, I also got an email from AWS saying that my account was hacked that I needed to change my root password and delete opened roles etc etc.I did everything I could and created another ticked for them to delete everything the hacker did. They didn't reply and closed my ticked.I opened another ticket with the same request, again it got ignored.Third ticked got a response saying that I needed to delete 1000 records one by one by hand.I told them that it was ridicilious, that the account was unused and they could just reset it.Again they ignored it.After one month, I got charged $148,350.26.I have opened new tickets explaining the issue and disputed the charge. They told me that I should re-secure my account first, do this do that. The account was infested, all of the regions, all of the places had automatically created roles, instances, logs, settings, automations, scripts. Everywhere! After receiving feedback from them, I tried to delete hundreds of records one by one by hand, wasted my hours.During this time, they didn't support me in any way other than constantly pointme to delete items/settings.Once they even asked me to install a software on my computer and run it!I have refused to install the said software and later on, they explained another way to do it online. However, during this time, my credit card constantly got charged $148k every two days.I stopped counting after 12 charge attempts or so.I disabled the credit card but they kept asking me to enable it so that they could continue with their "technical support".After two months, one support guy stepped in and said that he would make sure that this issue would be solved within 24 hours. However, after another week it was still the same. All efforts and time spend was in vain, after three months of my time getting wasted. They still didn't do anything regarding the issue other than replying "We will look into it".During this time, I continued to receive $148k charge attempts and even emails saying that If i don't pay that my account would be disabled.Later on seeing that there was no customer support behind the line and that this was a malicisious service trying to rip me off. I have initiated the termination of my account with this issue unresolved as I stopped believing they they were capable of solving the issue.I'm yet to see how this will turn out. This account was supposed to get me aquinted with AWS service and it exactly served just that. Now I know what AWS is capable of, so should you.

Shady billing practices

This company had a policy of NOT pro-rating a bill if service is canceled mid billing cycle. If you're just ONE DAY into a billing period and cancel your service, you're on the hook for an ENTIRE MONTHS service. Additionally, once ypu cancel service and port your number, your access to your online account is suspended. Not a huge deal, UNLESS, you want to print out past bills or see your usage for the past billing period. The only way to see past usage is to contact the company and request paper copies of current, and/or past bills. Which will cost you FIVE DOLLARS PER COPY. Something the customer rep DOES NOT DISCLOSE when you request said copies. We will NEVER return to this company. On principle alone.

Worst subscription system

The dumbest subscription system - we will charge you for not wanting pay us for the plan for 12 months, but we will not allow you to subscribe on ONE special app you need, or maybe we will, but it will cost more than if you subscribe for multiple apps, when of 20 apps you literally use one. You'd like to buy the app so you don't need to pay monthly? Sorry impossible, had to do that in 2010.I am paying $25 just to use one app good if twice a month, while I can do the same thing in the app I bought for $42...

Agoda Fail

Agoda Fail: Non-Existent HotelThis booking was a complete fabrication. The listed hotel does not exist at the provided location. After payment, the owner became unreachable. Despite booking through Agoda, upon arrival, no hotel was present. Attempts to contact both the hotel owner and Agoda customer care were unsuccessful. I was forced to book alternative accommodation through Booking.com. This hotel owner is fraudulent. I strongly advise against booking this property and caution against using Agoda based on this experience.

Do not use Google workspace

Do not use Google workspace! After being charged twice and a lot of back and forth they finally approved a refund only to reject the refund a few months later with no explanation or reasoning why.The customer service is very poor and are unethical business practice. For such a large company it’s been extremely frustrating and they don’t seem to understand consumer rights.Stay away!

BELTON HOUSE

After four weeks of us both being ill we decided a day out at Belton House would help us heal. Picnic packed we duly arrived along with several others to be told by a security guard that the house and grounds were closed and to turn around. No explanation or apology was offered. The scene was chaotic with vehicles in front and behind trying to leave. We have been members of NT for over 50 years and are shocked by the lack of customer care. We receive regular emails from the trust but in this case nothing. In these difficult times of soaring everything the amount of petrol wasted by members just turning up on guess what "trust" will be phenomenal. Show your members some respect National Trust and keep us informed. Seriously considering cancelling our membership.

Review of lyft

Lyft is a joke

You think Lyft is a legitimate nationwide business. However what they've done is create nothing but an app, with zero customer service behind it. There is an app. It connects drivers and riders. That's it.So as long as everything goes perfectly, no worries. It just works. The moment something goes off track, you are completely screwed. Their customer service is practically non-existent, having been outsourced to a completely worthless Zendesk outfit based in some foreign country.Lose an item? Too bad. All they'll say is "We realize thats frustrating. Unfortunately drivers are contractors and we cant require them to do anything." They respond at the rate of about 1 email every 3 days. Also if you get locked out of your account, you'll find its more difficult to get back into than any credit card, bank account, government system, etc. Why? Because its more secure? No, its because their backend is garbage and their customer service is garbage. They literally don't have a system to get you back into your account if you don't have your 2FA device because they don't give a crap and can't be bothered to provide actual customer service.Lyft has lost me as a customer. I will literally never use their app again. Even if it seems like the convenient option at some time, I will take a cab, or a different ride share, or get a scooter, or take public transport, or walk, or hitch hike before I ever use Lyft again.

My Lyft Driver gave herself a tip and then Lyft double dipped the tip by charging me again on a separate charge the next day and I want them both back and that only removed one.

Review of hp

HP's poor technical support

HP's Instant ink program is a scam. After a year in the program in which I printed 100 to 150 pages a month I received a bill for $78. When I called HP they told me in the month that I printed 600 pgs. I disputed the number of pages but they blamed me for printing offline or letting someone else use my printer. I agreed to pay 1/2 and that I wanted out of the program. The following month they said I printed 700 pages but I told them I was out of the program. For a year there were no issues until last month when my printer requested that I push the OK button for each page printed which I had to do for each print job until I call instant ink section. When I called them again they said I owed a lot of money. They said the money was for the cartridges they sent. I told them I was out of the plan for months and that I didnt get any instant ink cartridges and that I have been buying them at Staples. They asked me to show them the cartridges in the machine which I did via cell phone connection. Then Instant Ink section told me the problem was an IT situation. IT changed the program in the computer. The program is not functioning in the same manner in which the original program functioned. They once again entered my computer with no luck. The IT person said that HP has a "Paid Support Program" and said I would have to pay to get the program running back the way it was. I will never buy an HP printer again and I am letting everyone know of this experience to scam money out of people who purchase their printers.

Review of hp

Quicker to write the document out, than to wait for my HP PRINTER messing me around with a bogus pap

I will be perfectly honest, I have always bought HP printers. Unpacked it, downloaded the software and a presto. I know that everyone needs to keep up with modern technology but this HP Officejet Pro 8122e is beyond me. Unpacked it plugged it in, and then it went downhill drastically. Paper jam when there is no paper in the printer, then it asks has all the packaging been removed, and have the ink cartridges been placed in properly took the ink cartridges out not once but six times. Then you try and get support, and what do you get a virtual assistance. So it takes you through one menu, then another, then another, and then another until you get to the point unplug wait 60 seconds to reset. And have a guess what cartridge jam, so you follow the instructions on the little window on the printer (Open the cartridge access door and clear any paper jams or obstructions. And make sure the cartridges are installed correctly) WHEN THERE HAS BEEN NO PAPER IN THE SO AND SO THING!!!!!! so press OK. Something seems to be happening and after one hour of doing all technical issues (Cartridge Jam) so you click on support 5 windows later back to square one. And then when you try again and again to get the information you want just to set up the printer, it says Note: Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. The following steps apply to both real and false paper jams.Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved. What the hell is this all about paper jams can be real or false, if paper is jammed then it is bloody jammed there are know two ways about it. If I'd of read up on HP reviews before buying a new HP printer then I would not of touch them with a barge pole. How can a company accept these results, total reviews 7,333 5*- 4%, 4* - 1%, 3* - 1%, 2* - 3% and the best result wait for it 1* - 91%. So HP overall result is Bad 1.2, HP you need to get a grip of yourselves, in fact you should be ashamed of yourselves. I will be sending mine back and getting an Epson, I can understand now. Why you are selling your products so cheap, because I bet you say what do you expect for the money
