HP's Instant ink program is a scam. After a year in the program in which I printed 100 to 150 pages a month I received a bill for $78. When I called HP they told me in the month that I printed 600 pgs. I disputed the number of pages but they blamed me for printing offline or letting someone else use my printer. I agreed to pay 1/2 and that I wanted out of the program. The following month they said I printed 700 pages but I told them I was out of the program. For a year there were no issues until last month when my printer requested that I push the OK button for each page printed which I had to do for each print job until I call instant ink section. When I called them again they said I owed a lot of money. They said the money was for the cartridges they sent. I told them I was out of the plan for months and that I didnt get any instant ink cartridges and that I have been buying them at Staples. They asked me to show them the cartridges in the machine which I did via cell phone connection. Then Instant Ink section told me the problem was an IT situation. IT changed the program in the computer. The program is not functioning in the same manner in which the original program functioned. They once again entered my computer with no luck. The IT person said that HP has a "Paid Support Program" and said I would have to pay to get the program running back the way it was. I will never buy an HP printer again and I am letting everyone know of this experience to scam money out of people who purchase their printers.
