I will be perfectly honest, I have always bought HP printers. Unpacked it, downloaded the software and a presto. I know that everyone needs to keep up with modern technology but this HP Officejet Pro 8122e is beyond me. Unpacked it plugged it in, and then it went downhill drastically. Paper jam when there is no paper in the printer, then it asks has all the packaging been removed, and have the ink cartridges been placed in properly took the ink cartridges out not once but six times. Then you try and get support, and what do you get a virtual assistance. So it takes you through one menu, then another, then another, and then another until you get to the point unplug wait 60 seconds to reset. And have a guess what cartridge jam, so you follow the instructions on the little window on the printer (Open the cartridge access door and clear any paper jams or obstructions. And make sure the cartridges are installed correctly) WHEN THERE HAS BEEN NO PAPER IN THE SO AND SO THING!!!!!! so press OK. Something seems to be happening and after one hour of doing all technical issues (Cartridge Jam) so you click on support 5 windows later back to square one. And then when you try again and again to get the information you want just to set up the printer, it says Note: Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. The following steps apply to both real and false paper jams.Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved. What the hell is this all about paper jams can be real or false, if paper is jammed then it is bloody jammed there are know two ways about it. If I'd of read up on HP reviews before buying a new HP printer then I would not of touch them with a barge pole. How can a company accept these results, total reviews 7,333 5*- 4%, 4* - 1%, 3* - 1%, 2* - 3% and the best result wait for it 1* - 91%. So HP overall result is Bad 1.2, HP you need to get a grip of yourselves, in fact you should be ashamed of yourselves. I will be sending mine back and getting an Epson, I can understand now. Why you are selling your products so cheap, because I bet you say what do you expect for the money
