Great Products and helpful service

Great Products and helpful service. Premiere pro keeps getting better with more features and every time I needed help from Adobe support their service has been quick and client centered.

Excellent Customer Service Experience

I contacted their chat support to inform them that I was waiting for my new debit card to arrive and would update my payment details for my Adobe Acrobat Pro account as soon as I received it. I noticed they were attempting to charge my old card, but it kept being declined. While I initially had to go through the AI assistance, it didn’t take long to get through to an agent. The agent was fantastic and even offered me one month free, which was a nice gesture.

Almost impossible to cancel

Almost impossible to cancel, because the person talking to was blatantly ignoring everything I said in our conversation. I asked no less than four times at what point I could cancel because he said there would be a fee of 1.5x months worth of cost to cancel, and instead of telling me at what date my "tenure" (his words) would expire he kept trying to get me to continue for lower costs. I kept saying I cannot just blindly accept the lower costs without getting an answer on when I would still be able to cancel in the future without fees. When I asked if my "tenure" would even be up within five years, he finally cancelled my plan and prematurely ended the chat. *In my personal experience* it felt like I was talking to a brick wall as anything I said was deflected trying to not get me to cancel. Almost as bad as cancelling Comcast cable. It sucks because their softwares are great and I would love to use them again but *my personal opinion* of the sales tactics being extremely predatory will make me really think twice about looking for some alternative softwares when I need access again in the future

FRAUD and THEFT

Poorly Delivered, Feeling de-frauded, that is what Adobe represents to me. The entire business model, the pricing and their retention strategy just leave a bad taste in my mouth. I DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS.

Are their exec's five year olds?

Adobe default Acrobat Reader (free version) to do automatic updates. I would like control, and visibility, of when updates are performed so that i) my system continues operating, ii) if there is a problem that starts after I've initiated an update then I can be better informed as to how to resolve the issue. After digging through the many user reports of similar issues, Adobe do provide a Windows registry change that can successfully disable auto-updates. However, this appears to also remove the manual option for updating. It is obvious that Adobe think they know better, and if auto updates aren't wanted, then, sorry, you can't (easily) have updates either. There are other example of Adobe trying to force their products to be used in a way that they choose, rather than giving the user control. Are their exec's five year olds? Why do they hate their customers so much?(Whilst I don't pay for Reader I do pay for other Adobe products.)

They just do not care

after one hour and a half with 3 different people ( today was the third time that I reached to them)that do not take the time to read the whole story from the previous one so I had to repeat everything, I decided to flush forever all ADOBE and find an alternative because:1) I got fraud on my credit card from one of their client accounts (they know who it is) and they do nothing about it. so be carefull.I can never access my actual account because of technical issues from themthey washed their hand and sure enough..the third person, supposedly the manager flushed me after giving very little info on how to go with it.Nobody cares. I used Adobe for so many years and it is a shame that the left hand does not know what the right hand do

You aren’t able to cancel after the free trial

I signed up for 1 week free trial. At the end of the period I cancelled my plan. I continued to get billed $35.99 per month! When I contacted adobe about this, I was told this was because I had signed up to an AI assistant, in addition to my plan (I hadn’t). They then refused to let me cancel the AI assistant that I had supposedly signed up for, insisting that I had bought it and much continue to pay.

Horrible customer service

I signed up for a monthly subscription in January just for Premiere pro, however adobe got me on a yearly plan where i paid monthly. I was only planning to use adobe for 2 months. I've now lost almost $1000, and they won't refund me or even end my subscription.

All edits are missing

Spent 4 hours editing the photoshoot in Lightroom yesterday. Once done, I exported several images for Instagram post, closed Lightroom, and shut down the computer in a normal way. Woke up today to export the rest of the photos and they all appear to be unedited. Contacted support, they blamed my computer and did not provide any help. 4 hours of work wasted.

Absolute worst user terms

Bought an Adobe Elements license, only to find out it is computer bound after I replaced my desktop. So I basically paid €110 for a piece of software I have not even used yet. Never will be buying anything from Adobe ever again. Will just be using equally good (or better) free software programs like DaVinci Resolve and GIMP instead.
