PLEASE WALK AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDOLENT COMPANY.Endless number of hidden fees, overcharges and very shady way to conduct business. We have caught them STEALING money from our account red handed. PLEASE SPRAD THE WORD AND STAY AWAY FROM IT.
This company offers online payment options for businesses. At present they are sitting on £3000 of my money and not transferring it to my account.This company cannot be contacted by email or phone, if you manage to complain via their very difficult to use website they sometimes reply via a noreply web address. I have been trying unsuccessfully to contact them daily for two weeks now. We have had to remove the credit card purchasing payment option from our online sales operation.
We had a critical issue and the service was byyond poor. The issue was on Braintree's side, we had no communication that there was an issue, lost over $150k in sales and we couldn't get a response from anyone.It was beyond belief and I couldn't believe the support was so poor for such a critical issue. Wish I could rate zero stars.
Absolute garbage. The hours we have wasted with these people are beyond measure. Their fraud protection was so lacking that we received literally hundreds of fraud orders in HOURS. Their ability to understand what was going on was basically zero. We left them MONTHS go, and they are still continuing to withdraw money from our bank account. They were not able to tell what they were doing, or why, or fix it. Nobody in the company seems to have any idea what is going on. I regret the hours we wasted, and money we lost, ever using these people.
Braintree has very poor security. Scammers make purchases. Goods are sent. Scammer creates dispute. Scammer wins.Does not matter that they got their stuff. Braintree doesn't care. Braintree is at fault for not requiring the CVC code. But it is MY small business that loses.
We use their security measures and have had 30 disputes which we are losing because "card not present". How is an online processor supposed to be trusted if the reason a company loses disputes is because the card wasn't present. There are addresses we sent the physical products to, so there is obviously someone that can be found to pay the credit card company. We stopped using them and went back to PayPal. Trust the reviews, Braintree is garbage. I will say, billing address matches, AVS matches, CVV matches, etc. and still we lose disputes because the customer had it shipped to a different address.
If you value your business continuity don't switch to Brain Tree. As a Controller of a large corporation we moved over to brain tree in August. We recently had an issue where they wanted to review one of our customer. Brain Tree contacted us 3 days after they held all!! deposits!!! We provided all the information requested. Their Customer Service was Horrible emails go unanswered for days. It has been 2 + Week since the initial hold and we have not been able to speak to anyone by phone.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! NO PHONE NUMBERS ARE LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE, WHEN I FINALLY FOUND A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL NO ONE ANSWERS. I HAVE ASKED VIA EMAIL TO RECEIVE A CALL BACK INSTEAD I RECEIVE A REPLY EMAIL. THEY SUPPLY A FAULTY 3D CREDIT CARD FRAUD SYSTEM AND THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING WHEN YOUR WEBSITE IS RECEIVING FRAUD CHARGEBACKS
