Slow service

Have been waiting 5 hours for a store pickup order for a single set of strings to be fulfilled. Would've just gone in and bought it but I received an online discount and sale that wouldn't have been valid in person. Ordered at opening time and now they have gone almost an entire business day without fulfilling my online order

Review of chess

Appalling lag, can ruin your day

Appalling lag, seems to be many cheaters on there no matter how many they claim to remove. I read a review which said chess.com can ruin your day and I tend to agree. I have a master of information systems and I think there may be a lot of technical issues which they tend to push to the user to fix. They also don't have 30 second tournaments running continuously and you can't set rating ranges on 30 second games. As a result, you can win 15 games and lose 1 and your score will drop.

THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!

THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!! DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT FOR YOUR OWN FINANCIAL SAFETY EVER USE AT&T. YOU WILL GET SCAMMED. AT&T has been charging my account since October 2022 fraudulently. I moved apartments and cancelled my services with them in October 2022. They then requested I send back the equipment which I did. They continued charging me every month for 2 years and NEVER sent a single notification via email or mail that they were charging me monthly. They kept charging me after I cancelled their services and returned their equipment. Two weeks ago, I discovered they were doing this and called them to be refunded for those backdated months. The employee named Sandro (account manager, in the loyalty department) told us to cancel it again on august 7th 2024 so we would not continue to be charged and said he would open an investigation. He said the investigation takes up to about 7 days to process so to call back then. Upon calling back 8 times since then, I have not had a single representative able to help us move the process along or have any information to give us. Today, I called back again (and was escalated to several managers) and they told us that if we had kept the account open and not cancelled it with Sandro, then right now they would’ve been able to backdate the cancellation so we could have been reimbursed for those months. So an AT&T representative guided us in the complete wrong way and now caused us not to be able to be reimbursed for those charges. Not to mention, AT&T can check the usage and see that we were not using their services at all since October 2022 (when we moved out of our apartment) AND have an email confirmation for returning their equipment. Every representative kept telling us there is no record of a cancellation so we basically are correctly being charged. How can that be possible when I have a confirmation of returning the equipment? Did I just randomly want to return your equipment and continue paying for internet even though I don’t even have your equipment and no longer live there? makes no sense. Then they tried to say the returned equipment could be for a reason unrelated to the cancellation, like maybe an exchange. BUT THEN WHERE IS MY EXCHANGE? There is no exchange. It was for a cancellation. I have been on the phone cumulatively for over 6 hours trying to resolve this issue and no one even cares to help me in a meaningful way. I have been transferred to Loyalty, Customer Service,Billing, even Collection. The worst part is despite all of this headache, numerous phone reps will put me on hold and just never return. I have dealt with this so many times, I’m not sure if this is a tactic to get off the call Scott free when they cannot figure out what to do, but please try to imagine how annoying that would be. Every manager has told me the best they can do is credit my account for 1 month of the back dated charges. How can a company like AT&T have such an abysmal resolution process? I will be sharing this story with as many friends and family members as possible

I have been with ATT since 2001 and have had issue but they were fixed and adjusted with ease. If you come with the right way of doing things it’s what you usually get back.

Review of animoto

Animoto keen user.

I love this App. It so easy to use and to personalize. Quick stories to share on instagram or longer ones to use on other platforms. I sometimes battle to relocate text but that could be because I haven’t spent enough time to figure out the options. All in all a definite keeper.

This antiviral software isn't worth it

This antiviral software isn't worth it. I paid and installed did a scan all good. Then I could connect to my router computer went slow.I now can't connect to a router which is been blocked by Mcaffee, But the help part says update the app as there is an issue with the software it does block all routers. Now I go to update to get the update fix but this is the funny part I can't get on the Internet to accept the download. The only way I can gain router access is by deleting the app thats right the Mcaffee app.Waste of money wish I could get a refund should of stuck with Norton what a mistake.

Great Notation Software and Sheet Music App

It’s a great place to find free sheet music and with a large community it’s hard not to find some form of what you are looking for I also use their music notation software and downloading audios to change how a instrument sounds as you write the music is really helpful since I’m not a large fan of the generic singing audio but overall a great free notation program and sheet music website.

Review of lyft

As much as I hate using cabs

As much as I hate using cabs; Lyft has become such a nightmare of unreliability in Boston that I am done for good. Constantly cancelling drivers who accepted. Three to five times the projected wait times. Despite multiple attempts there is no way way to make it work with enough leeway or advanced notice to not end up 30-45 minutes late to where you were trying to go. I don’t experience this in other cities.

Review of lyft

Driver was considerably late, rude and cancelled ride midway. Company didn’t refund.

Driver was considerably late. I saw him going unnecessary extra roads and make extra stops before arriving. I called to clarify that I expected him to come timely (which he didn’t), and if he can still make us timely to our stop. His answer was unclear. I suggested we meet on the gas station to speed up the ride (I had to run several minutes to it), because if I waited for him at my place - it would take him more than 10 min to pick up and then I would be late for the drop off point! Then he took some road which made things even slower, and we arrived even later than expected. I explained myself how unsatisfactory all that is and he could at least warn me timely he is late so I could at least take another car. Worst is I booked him for the ride back too. But he left without saying a word and I was even overcharged for the ride. I’m highly disappointed! When I requested refund, the company refused to pay…

Review of economist

The Economist: High Price, Unethical Discounting

I was a subscriber to The Economist for one month. I found the content to be valuable, but I found the price to be too high. The monthly subscription price is £19.99, which is more expensive than many other news providers. When I tried to cancel my subscription, I was offered a discount of £6 for the next month. However, this discount would only be temporary, and I would be back to paying the full price after that. I felt that this was unethical, as it created a two-tiered system where some members were paying more than others for the same service.Customer service also tried to convince me to stay by offering me a free trial of the Economist Espresso and a discount of 50% on a yearly subscription of Full Digital and Espresso. However, I was still not convinced that the price was worth it.Overall, I would not recommend The Economist to others unless they are willing to pay a premium for the content. The price is too high, and the discounting practices are unethical. If you are looking for a high-quality news source, there are many other options available that are more affordable. For example, you could subscribe to the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, or The New York Times. These news sources all offer high-quality content, and they are all more affordable than The Economist.I hope this helps!
