Review Time
We have not been able to get ahold of a customer service representative to handle our issue. We have not been able to run payment for 6 days straight. A company that deals with people's money should not be this difficult to reach.
As echoed by everyone else, ABSOLUTLY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I don't actually have too much of an issue with the actual platform, once up and running although it was very glitchy integrating and still didn't get all the integrations, they said were available. But not being able to to speak with a live person, when they are taking money from me is absolutely a deal breaker. I've come up with 4 phone numbers they "use" nome of them works. Really just seems like a scam. I've used paypal for years and have always appreciated their very good customer support, so I am baffled as to why Paypal would have a company like braintree under their umbrella. RUN AWAY
Avoid at all costs. Braintree conducted an account review when we got a large payment in. It took them 4 weeks to review and close the account review and stated funds will be with us in 2-3 business days... 4 weeks later still nothing. They are holding onto over £3000.There is literally no customer support! No telephone numbers! Don't reply to emails for weeks. The worst company I have ever dealt with! Paypal should be ashamed to own this company!
I really should have looked at these reviews before signing up! Sign up went reasonably OK, integration to our web site was OK, but that is the end of the good news. We have received no money at all from them, even though there have been thousands of pounds of sales, they are sitting on this money for no apparent reason. There is no telephone number to call them, all you have is a support ticket option, so an "urgent" ticket was raised, 5 days later & no response. In theory they are going to charge 1.9% + 20p per transaction, even though they originally quoted 1.5% + 10p, however in practice they are charging 100% I am seriously wondering if I will ever see any of the money they have taken. Please save yourself the pain, go with literally any other company, they cannot be worse than Braintree.
I really dont understand how anyone is using Braintree. We made the biggest mistake of our life using braintree.They have so far settled 50 thousand dollar of our payments and we have received none on our account. We have been continuously trying to get support or atleast get a reply but no response at all. I really dont know what to do from here. How can a big company like paypal braintree can do something like this.
Worst customer service.We integrated their sandbox software and planned to launch the project.We have been trying to reach their sales office with contact form and phones. No body returned emails or phones for more than 2 months Finally someone returned email, but she said it will take 3 to 4 months to review and to setup merchant account.They claimed on website: fast, effecient, and service many countries in the global.A bunch of axxholes
We have been using Braintree since 2015. I have never experienced anything as bad as Braintree in terms of user experience.After a couple of months (MONTHS!) of trying to get in touch with them I finally discovered they were applying an old pricing (higher of course) to our account since 2016.... They had lowered the fees and had never notified us hoping we would never notice!Fees are much higher than the competition.Support is basically non existent. You try calling them and a general Paypal line responds that has no idea of what braintree even is. We pay thousands of dollars a month in fees and get 0 support!?I've had it.Don't trust them. Do not waste your time with this horrible service. Stay away.
