Review of guitarcenter

Bait and switch.

First off the guitar we order wasn’t the guitar that was pictured on your web site. So we got a rusted and damaged guitar. The sales rep offered to refund my shipping which I paid for to be over nighted and I refused to accept that. They ordered another guitar for me instead. I had to pay a difference for the other one. I asked for the to be overnighted and it wasn’t. Still haven’t received my order. I am a very disappointed and annoyed customer. I will be relaying my feelings to everyone I know to shop somewhere else.

Review of booking

Awful customer experience

Awful customer experience. Hotel blames booking.com, booking.com support is not reachable, AI phone agent that booking.com has implemented is completely useless and it is not possible to get in touch with booking.com in a timely manner to get the reservation refunded. On top of that, if you reserve a hotel though a company partnering with booking.com - you cannot receive right reservation and confirmation IDs, so booking.com complaint page becomes unusable. Never again. Booking.com is basically scamming people irresponsibly blaming hotels and being unreachable. Shame of a service.

Failed to report historic Court case

The BBC, founded on a Royal Charter, failed to report that a Royal Charter professional body, the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, got found by a Court of racial discrimination against British members in their exam qualification arrangements, which resulted in British getting just 2 exam opportunities a year to qualify while Indians got 4. How on earth did not one outlet of the enormous BBC find this historical Judgment newsworthy? It had already been reported in the Daily Mail, Financial Times, Private Eye and Insurance ERM to name a few.

Review of flipkart

Worst Customer service.

Worst Customer service.Ordered a wardrobe the our house address. The installation had to be done on first floor. Just because on the address its not written first floor, delivery guy and the installation person refused to take it to the first floor. The whole house belongs to us so if we write our house address why should we mention 1st floor or ground floor??? This is something really stupid.

Review of chegg

Definitely not a good solution, gets you halfway

Looking up questions is a gray area. Found several economic questions with wrong answers. Problem solving should be identified as different books have different operations, which at times could cause a different result. Marketing questions come up as a fail, but when I put the same question in a browser search, there is a Chegg result provided. Chegg should pay licensed teachers or book manufacturers to double check results.

Review of venmo

I will never use Venmo again

I will never use Venmo again. I am deleting my account and using something that protects their customers more. I sent a payment to a friend and their account ended up being hacked. I had my bank stop the $300 being pulled from my account so I was not sending money to someone I didn't know. Venmo suspended my account and is forcing me to pay the $300 or else they will send it to collections. Venmo's reasoning for making me still send the money was because "I trusted the source I paid." Even if I trusted I the source, I have proof the account was hacked and my money was not being sent to my friend. The customer service is a joke.

Review of tripadvisor

TripAdvisor and Holiday Lettings don't care and leave fake listings on although people report them a

Wife booked an apartment through Tripadvisor/Holiday Lettings (both work together and you need both accounts to make the booking). The place (house address) does not exist and upon arrival we called the owner who answered and said that he will be coming to hand the keys and to wait on the street. Three hrs later (3am by then) and several subsequent unanswered phone calls no sign of anyone. Left on the street with three children and had to look for a hotel for two nights and made further arrangement for a new letting this time on Airbnb.Wife spent £50 on international phone calls with Tripadvisor to report the fake posting and today 16 whole days after the incident, the listing it is still up on their website and people are still being duped. Called them again this morning and they could not say why the property was still listed neither could the agent talk or reason sensibly either. Asked to speak with a manager and still waiting for a call back and compensation.I can provide proof all the above.Akhtar Moorad.MBA Triple Crown (AMBA)BEng HonsUpdated 16/Aug/2022: Sent a booking request yesterday afternoon after the call to Tripadvisor/Holiday Lettings in the morning to the same fake owner via the Tripadvisor/Holiday Lettings listing. Received an email from Holiday lettings saying that the request has been transmitted to the owner who should be in touch with me soon. This morning finally got an email from Holiday Lettings saying that "Following concerns about this advertiser’s activity, we have been investigating the legitimacy of this listing and it has now been permanently removed from our website."Effectively by requesting a further booking I have prompted Tripadvisor/Holiday Lettings to do what they should have done 17 whole days ago as soon as we reported the fraudulent activity i.e. perform a check and remove the listing.Still no call from the manager who was supposed to call us back about the compensation which falls under their T&C.

I've found Techopedia useful for learning about general trends in technology, but I would prefer more detailed content on specific topics. For example, I'd love to see more on cloud architecture or advanced cybersecurity.

Review of samsung

Don't buy any Samsung products

I bought a z fold 4 phone from samsung about a year ago and after about 10 months my phone wifi broke down and I sent it to samsung repair center. After about a week I got the phone back and the wifi was fixed, but when I looked at the phone I saw a lot of scratches on the front display. The display protector had been on the phone since I bought it, and it was still on when I sent it to the Samsung repair center, but when I got it back, there was no screen protector on the phone.I immediately contacted the Samsung service center, and they said they were sorry and would fix it if I sent the phone back to them, so I sent it back to the repair center. A few days later, I got an email from them, and when I checked it, they wanted over $170 to replace the face display on the phone. Obviously, the repair center accidentally scratched a lot of scratches on my phone, and I was angry that they wanted money when I was still under warranty, so I called the service center and asked why they wanted money, and they connected me to the repair center and talked to the repair center supervisor. The supervisor of the repair center said that my phone had many scratches from the beginning, which is ridiculous, and demanded more than $170 to fix it. Despite my repeatedly explaining that my phone had a protective film on it and that there was no protective film when I received it, the samsjng repair center manager kept repeating that there were many scratches on it from the beginning and that he could not fix it. In my opinion, Samsung is a company that thinks that it is enough to sell products. I told my friends about it, and they all cursed Samsung a lot. Don't buy any Samsung products.

Excellent product. I have used Parallels for years and it continually improves in performance and easy of use. I'm a die hard Apple user but many times I find the need to utilize a "Windows Only" solution and that's when I turn to Parallels.

Review of googleadservices

Feels like a Scam to me

I was offered a free £150 credit for ads with Google which I took up. I then started getting charged for the adverts before any credit was used. It then turned out that the credit wasn't a voucher but you actually had to spend money to earn the money off. This felt to me like one of those scam emails that you get asking for money. They knew businesses would assume the voucher was exactly that. Not impressed at all. Feels like this big corporate has really lost any moral compass at all.

Review of braintreepayments

Garbage and not to be trusted.

We use their security measures and have had 30 disputes which we are losing because "card not present". How is an online processor supposed to be trusted if the reason a company loses disputes is because the card wasn't present. There are addresses we sent the physical products to, so there is obviously someone that can be found to pay the credit card company. We stopped using them and went back to PayPal. Trust the reviews, Braintree is garbage. I will say, billing address matches, AVS matches, CVV matches, etc. and still we lose disputes because the customer had it shipped to a different address.

Review of google

Google is impossible to use

This should be about my Google account: Google is impossible to use. Google AI never admits it made a mistake there is something defective. How to use something more reliable than trust Google with my username and password. Google proves constantly it is impossible to use. For example create a user and password that Google will accept as good to go Google will send me on my way with this false security that all is well now. Yet Google will refuse to call it real - Google calls it no match in their records. Why Google recommends Lastpass or 1Password or drag and drop therefore use any password manager I guarantee Google is still constantly wrong. Because any Password Manager is expected to be accurate therefore Google called a Password Manager wrong therefore Google is defective Google's own records proves it. I guarantee that any password I create with Google's help will still be constantly wrong because it has done it every time. Can someone recommend a good lawyer to sue Google or fix the problem. However it would save me money to have a reason not to buy any thing Google it would be a waste of money to buy and find its useless and unreliable Google again. Amazon costs less and I have an account there that is reliable Firestick products: TVs and etc. Google is not a reliable place to buy and use there products and services to find its a waste money buying: Android products or use YouTube TV or Google Wallet or Chromecast and many many others. If it requires a password Google is sure to fail.
