I have been a loyal customer of Animoto for the past 3 years and have used their video packages in order to produce marketing materials for numerous clients across a range of industries. I have always been completely satisfied with the product and found the service to be good value for money. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I had to dissolve my business last year and having paid for my 12 months upfront I completely forgot about my Animoto subscription... Until I received notice from Paypal that I had authorised a payment of £192. Completely panicking (I am still unemployed and had budgeted with precision in order to stay above the breadline) I ran to my bank, raised a dispute with Paypal and contacted Animoto directly. The bank were unable to do anything to stop the transaction, paypal ruled that it wasn't an unauthorised payment so it all hung on a response from Animoto themselves. After a quick Google and seeing some of these other testimonials I almost lost all hope. My phone pinged with a reply in good time and an extremely helpful and sympathetic member of staff dealt with my enquiry quickly and demonstrated excellent customer service and I have been refunded immediately. Having been in business myself I know that no company can be completely perfect and Animoto have said that they are looking to update their billing policies on the back of negative feedback received. I can't speak for other trust pilot users but my own experience has been excellent and if my circumstances were to ever change I wouldn't hesitate to return as a customer again. Will also recommend to others.

The CONSTANT emails. After unsubscribing from a few and still receiving emails, I finally went to their preferences page and found that they have an extensive list of all different categories under which to send an email, meaning if you unsubscribe from one in your inbox, it's likely you'll get another under the guise of these 20 or so other categories. Unsubscribed to all. So annoying.

How l regret not reading the reviews and would have saved my time that l wasted with making a complaint to ICO. They are incompetent and not sure they understand the GDPR themselves.First I was told the organisation needed to give me lawful basis to process my data and then when this big organisation could not do so, l get a email saying we have told them to provide you with this but we will not do anything if they don’t. But initially they were not closing the case until l was given the explanation but over two months later they are not going to do anything but close the case saying they agree with the organisation. How do you agree with someone who has not provided you full explanation why they processed and shared data without lawful basis. Then they say l can take them to court. Not sure where they get the people who work for ICO but they are a waste of time. I will never use them and how l regret not reading these reviews.

As other reviewer's have mentioned, this organisation is wilfully useless.I was attacked by a neighbour, and then threatened by their police officer neighbour "coming round to sort me out". They then attacked me again, and a police officer did in fact come to my house and threaten me, as promised.When I reported this to the police force concerned, without even bothering to find out who I was, or anything about the incident, the first officer I spoke to immediately informed me "Oh no, no officer would risk their job doing that!", and instantly dismissed my claim. I was met with sexism, prejudice and derision throughout, and eventually made a formal complaint, all whilst being harassed and threatened by my neighbours. The police "professional standards department", who were neither professional, nor had any standards, sent me an almost threatening email during my complaint, which stated that they "had a copy of the body worn video by the police officer who had visited my house, and could watch it at any time."I responded to this email, stating that they should be watching the body worn evidence, and should have watched it already, given that they were meant to be investigating this officer, and his actions when he visited me, and since they had repeatedly written to me stating that they were "thoroughly investigating my complaint", so what exactly were they doing otherwise.I then put in a formal request for a copy of the body worn video evidence, and waited the standard 30 days for it to arrive.Surprise surprise, after 30 days, no video was forthcoming. Months later, no video was forthcoming. When I queried this, I eventually received an email from the police force stating that no such video existed, the same police force that had emailed me months earlier stating that they "had a copy of the body worn video by the police officer who had visited my house, and could watch it at any time."As per the law, I then made a complaint via the ICO, since the police force concerned had not sent me a copy of the video evidence as requested, and that video evidence had quite clearly existed, by their own admission, when I had requested it.The police force concerned then proceeded to totally ignore the ICO for months and months, I think this went on for over a year at least in the end.Eventually, the police force concerned replied to the ICO, and claimed that the police officer, and I quote "must have pressed delete instead of upload, and the video was never uploaded, so had never existed in their systems", completely contradicting their own email, which had been sent months after the video would have been uploaded.The police force then proceeded to once again totally ignore the ICO, and basically do whatever they wanted. The ICO wrote to me and said that they could not keep pursuing the police, because the police were just ignoring them.Really? So a police force just delete body worn video evidence of their officers going to people's homes and threatening them, and even send them emails stating that they "had a copy of the body worn video by the police officer who had visited my house, and could watch it at any time," proving that the video had in fact existed. It only ceased to exist when I requested a copy of it.There is literally no purpose to this organisation. They clearly have no power, and any little they do they are not interested in using, and do not pursue the people they are meant to pursue. Which is exactly why the people breaking the law break it, since they know this organisation will not bother to pursue them. In my case this meant my continuing to have to live in fear for years, and having my pets immediately poisoned after I had dared to report these people to the ICO, and the ICO simply let them get away with it. I personally consider this negligence. Allowing this patently obvious abuse of position and power, instead of pursuing it, when the police had changed their story, and this was provable demonstrable fact, put me at risk, and I had to suffer the consequences. This is not okay.

I had ESPN+ through Apple for $6.99 a month. I received an email from ESPN+ stating that if I upgraded to a yearly I would receive the plan for $64.99. Otherwise I’d pay $9.99 a month when the rate increase took effect. So I attempted to sign up. It didn’t work. So I called chatted with Apple and they said they weren’t offered the monthly plan, ESPN+ was offering it. So I attempted to sign up through ESPN+ said I had to terminate my subscription with Apple in order to take advantage of the offer. So I did that. My subscription under APPLE wouldn’t expire for 3 days. I attempted to sign up again, and it didn’t work. I contacted ESPN+ again and they said Apple had to release my email address. Otherwise I couldn’t take advantage of the offer. I contacted APPLE and they said my subscription ended in 3 days. So apparently so did my email address. They said they couldn’t release my email address. So I contacted ESPN+ again, and they said to use another email address to take advantage of the offer. I didn’t want 2 email addresses, but reluctantly I did get one. I attempted to get the ESPN+ monthly $64.99 offer. I got through, but it only allowed entry. I called ESPN+ and they said yes, they see where I signed up, but didn’t get the monthly plan. The person said they would speak to Tec support and their supervisor. The person said, I could take advantage of the “bundle Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN + for $13.99 a month. I did not want nor had any use for a bundle. The person says there’s nothing they could do.I told him that management and anyone above his pay grade can do over rides. It’s not that they can’t do anything, it’s that they WONT do anything because they are pushing the trash bundle.HULU has nothing worth viewing. They were deceptive in their practice. Whatever was going on in their system that caused me not to be able to sign up, they were aware of the issue but refused to honor the offer. Do better. Customer losses will be big.

I really dont understand how anyone is using Braintree. We made the biggest mistake of our life using braintree.They have so far settled 50 thousand dollar of our payments and we have received none on our account. We have been continuously trying to get support or atleast get a reply but no response at all. I really dont know what to do from here. How can a big company like paypal braintree can do something like this.

Customer Service Agents disconnected on me multiple times now. They should have a system to call back the number on file. I just waited 30 mins to speak to an agent for 2 mins. Just for the line to get disconnected and here I am waiting in queue again.
