Ordered a Impact Socket from Amazon UK. It turned up the next day damaged and so I contacted Customer service and asked if they could send out a replacement and arrange for the original item to be collected. They said that was not an option despite the item being in stock. Unfortunately this is not the first time I've had a damaged item appear and Amazon always refuses to provide a replacement. They claim their "system" wont allow it. The problem with that is that it directly violates Consumer Rights Act 2015 which clearly states a customer has the right to request a replacement item to be sent out to fulfil the order. Amazon repeatedly does this and breaks the law in doing so and believes it's internal policies take precedence over UK Law. It does not. I am reporting this to trading standards. It is amazing that such a massive company is allowed to violate consumer law repeatedly and continue to get away with it.

OpenTable say it's not them, it's the phone company, that may be so, but customers should be informed that their number is a premium rate number and responding will incur a fee.I messaged them, and this is the rubbish they responded with:"I see you wrote in about being charged for responding to your reservation confirmation via text. OpenTable does not charge diners or restaurants for SMS confirmation reminders, however, text message rates may apply depending on your SMS plan"The best thing to do here is to check with their mobile phone carrier. The charge may say "OpenTable" as the text was placed through our system, but the fees are placed by the carrier.I responded:"Untrue. If you reply to the text message that's when the cost is incurred, as OpenTable invites people to reply, but nowhere does it say that the return text can incur costs. Most reputable organisations would say something along the lines of "please note your operator may charge you"They responded:"We are not the ones who charge you and I am sorry about the charge being incurred, but you will need to speak to your phone carrier about the charge as we are not the ones who issue the charge"I responded:If I see a restaurant using opentable, I am actively going to avoid them.Basically, OpenTable is not transparent about their costs. Caveat Emptor!

Terrible company and unethical ways of getting people to sign up to their ridiculously costly plus service. At no point do you want to agree to sign up to this service yet you get automatically enrolled. The adverts have discounted courses that are only applicable alongside a subscription. This is not clear at all on their ads. Beware. They know exactly what they're doing as refunds aren't possible.Edit after Domestika's response below:There should be clear clarity of the subscription model. If someone has unknowingly subscribed to your premium service, why is it an annual payment and not a monthly payment with no option of refund? They know exactly what they're doing and I would recommend to spread the word on how unethical this approach is.

The BBC tv is now no longer fit for MY purpose. It seems to be concentrating on sport, quiz shows, and raucous pop music none of which are the least bit of interest to me ( 84 years old ) . So why am I forced by law to pay the astronomical licence fee or face prosecution just because I own a tv monitor.

Extremely misleading payments entrapment to charge early cancellation fees for stopping of a 'monthly' subscription. Customer service agents directs you to read hidden terms of service to say that it's your fault when it is clear they are hiding how they are charging. Just read the other reviews.Please avoid at all costs!

Update: They contacted me and resent a gift card. They did make it right I ordered a Gift card online to be mailed to me. It stated mailed but there was never a tracking number. I called and the man said he would convert to an e-card but would take 5 days. In 5 days I got a regular gift card in the mail. Gave the gift at christmas only to find they sent me a card with a zero balance. I purchased a 200.00 gift card. I have called back and they said they sent on to be reviewed and I have not heard anything. DONT buy from them as they are a scam company. They took my money and a zero balance gift card in return!!!!!!!!!!!!

The payment was done via bank transfer and seller also confirmed the payment received and also the seller attached the proof of payment received. the proof of transaction was provided by both parties to each other. The seller asked for bank details surprisingly to release USDT. I was afraid to provide any such details. So I have appealed on BINANCE. So I have attached all the proof of transaction even the receipt of the money in the bank by the seller. The response from BINANCE was shocking" To provide video recording of the transaction from the bank application" I didn't understand why would BINANCE asked for it. Even the seller confirmed about the receipt of the money. This is something BINANCE has to work on it. I wish not to provide the any kind of recording to the seller.Still i didn't received my USDT.
