I am a physician, a patient, and a patient advocate. My surgery involved three Johns Hopkins department directors - Dr. Nicholas Theodore, Dr. Christopher Lippincott, and Dr. Chad Gordon.Contrary to the accepted standard of care for hardware-associated delayed surgical site infections (C.Acnes and CoNS) with exposed occipital hardware and cervical scar dehiscence - and despite the irrefutable evidence that my dehiscing cervical wound is indeed infected according to clinical history, countless photos, and the July 2022 Cervical MRI - Dr. Theodore and Dr. Gordon opened and closed my cervical spine without obtaining cultures, without debridement, and without removal of the infected cervical hardware, then they put complex, poorly vascularized grafts over the infected area.Afterwards, Dr. Lippincott refused to answer my reasonable questions within his area of expertise, assuring me that Dr. Theodore can "eyeball" an open surgical site containing hardware to rule out infection. Apparently, Dr. Lippincott believes that Dr. Theodore, with his superhuman vision, can detect the presence or absence of biofilm on embedded cervical hardware, absolving him of the need to adhere to the accepted standard of care for hardware-associated delayed surgical site infections.I beg to differ, so I filed a twenty page complaint with all relevant government agencies and Johns Hopkins Hospital, to which Dr. Henry Brem responded with platitudes. Dr. Brem failed to address my detailed list of the egregious lapses in the accepted standard of care for hardware-associated delayed surgical site infections and hardware-associated cranial osteomyelitis - or the many violations of medical ethics, so I have now made this twenty page complaint and his response public. Patients need to know.

I love the Nokia Handsets, however the Nokia.com experience will surely see HMD go Bankrupt.I placed an order on Thursday with next day delivery. the order was placed 3 hours before the cut off for next day delivery. However the delivery did not appear on the Friday. On their support chat I was told that the order would be delivered on the Monday. I contacted them on Monday and they said it will be delivered by DHL before the end of the day. NO DHL Delivery with a Nokia handset.The Nokia colleague told me if I logged onto my order then I can cancel it. I logged on and there was no option to cancel it.another Nokia colleague then told me you cant cancel an order after 1 hour after it was placed.my order page is showing the order as preparing.it is now 4 days into the next day deliveryNokia cannot give me a tracking number they just keep saying it should be there by the end of the day.Nokia cannot confirm that is despatched, which I find is strange as they say it will be delivered by the end of the day.I have asked for this issue to be escalated, they cannot say when someone will contact me but they hope it will be soon. Bearing in mind their end of the day is now over 3 days long, very soon must be weeks away.Nokia, Please tell me, with my experience of ordering on your webpage, why should I ever order with you again?

we bought an hdmi cable in February, and received an invoice per e-mail from noreply at verkopen dot bol dot com and paid the invoice. a month later bol.com is chasing us claiming we haven't paid and charging an extra 3.50 euro for reminding us and asking us to pay again for the hdmi cable. after providing proof that we did pay, they claimed they never received the payment and asked a better proof showing the IBAN number and reference code used during payment, which wasn't available in my internet banking app. After wasting sooooooo much time, we found out that the vendor had sent out the invoice per email, but that that was the "wrong" invoice to use. We had to use the "correct" invoices, which could be found in the app. We were still asked to pay using the "correct" invoices. We did do this, and received an email that we will be refunded. Then this morning, 12 March 10:19 am GMT, I received a call again from bol dot com from a lady, calling from +31 303104999 asking me why I sent a "blank" email yesterday. After repeating everything for the 100th time she said "oh, now I can see it as well here", apparently she could now read the entire email suddenly, which apparently was not "blank" anymore and she seemed to enjoy my growing irritation of wasting all my time for just one single cable worth just 4.95 euros. I thought everything was fine, until she with a tone of having pleasure in my irritation from all this hassles, said she was sorry to hear that (like beating you with a hammer and then sadisticly saying to be sorry). For me it is never to use bol dot com anymore. If someone finds pleasure in irritating you with lots of hassles and wasting all your time, then I think it is just the right thing to do never ever to use any of their services again. Have fun with them wasting your time and giving them pleasure to waste your time.

I am very disappointed with AAA after 23 years. I bought a batery from then in November and until today they not change it. They say that have garanty but when the technician comes to the place where my car broken they do the test and do not change the batery. I have been calling 4 times and yesterday my car broken again and I was on the street again. Was so cold and now I am very sick at home. I tried to call then and always the same response. I have used Windows emulation in the past and Parallels is by miles the best. It has allowed me to used software that is only available for Windows on my ageing i7 MacBook Pro and it works perfectly. In fact that software runs quicker than it does on my office Windows based computer. You have to learn how to start a session from Mac OS, run apps and end a session but that is straightforward and after that it is plain sailing.

I am out of my mind today. My daughter's birthday is Monday. I ordered her a cake 3-4 days ago from Kroger from the only person in the bakery that was chinese or japanese..whichever and didn't speak great english. She was nice though. I special ordered this cake. Tonight when I picked it up..it was brought to me in a huge box. It was not enclosed in any container of any kind. Just sitting in the bottom of this box. I thought..this is odd. When I got home I thought..what am I gonna put this cake in until my daughter arrives next week, I don't have a cake holder. I got cake out and this is what I saw...a lopsided cake. WTH happened? I was furious. The box was one thing but then I get a lopsided cake? REALLY? So I call up to Kroger and spoke with this same lady (in fact she's the only person I have seen in the bakery and dealt with on all occasions) She didn't seem to hear anything I was saying. I told her about the cake. She said nothing she could do until tomorrow, she was closing. I said is there a manager to speak with. She said this isn't my dept, I am only covering. THATS FUNNY..3-4 days ago she took my order in the store. LIAR. Then I asked if there was a manager to speak to. She said no, I would need to call back tomorrow. I said is there not a manager on duty? She ignored me. I asked again. She said no...no manager. I started screaming and cussing at this point and demanded to speak to a manager. She put me on hold. A guy gets on phone and I asked if he was the manager, he said yes his name was Tim. (LIE number two from her). I told him about what happened. He said bring the cake back for a full refund...and to just go to one of the front registers, so I did. I told him I would just go elsewhere to order a cake. His reply, "OK". (Why didn't TIM show up to apologize and see for himself and tell me to just keep the cake?) I showed the guy at the register. I had him pull out the cake to take a look. He was shocked at the cake. Anddd, my daughter's name isn't even centered in the cake. What kind of service is this? Kroger should have apologized for such a mess they made. I went down the street to HEB and ordered a cake from them. They had 10 people working in the bakery and was ready and willing to go out of their way to help me. Kroger lost me forever. NEVER EVER will I order a cake from them again..EVER! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!
