AT&T is refusing to unlock my Samsung…

AT&T is refusing to unlock my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 even though the installment plan was charged off and sold to a third-party collection agency over a year ago. They no longer own the debt, yet continue to block my device — which directly violates federal law, FCC unlocking guidelines, and CTIA’s own policies.I submitted an FCC complaint (Case #7890859), a CFPB complaint, and contacted AT&T’s Office of the President. Instead of honoring federal unlock laws (47 CFR § 27.16 and Public Law 113–144), they gave vague, internal policy excuses and denied my unlock request.This is an unacceptable abuse of power and a deliberate obstruction of consumer rights. No company should hold a phone hostage once the financial obligation has been met through charge-off and debt sale.AT&T needs to be held accountable and forced to unlock this device immediately.

Want to be insulted...Use the phone, contact us option.You have no choice other than to speak to a machine - There is no human interaction to get through to someone.. You can't push 1 or 2 You have to humanely interact with a machine.Absolutely insulting to my intelligence.I don't know if you speak to your fridge or washing machine - But you HAVE to speak to a machine here, that is portraying human empathyIT's A MACHINE...!When it says "sorry" or "I don't understand"How can it be sorry??How can it understand??Very insulting to people in general, if the wiring can't understand you or you don't interact with the machine it cuts you off.I know the BS will come back it's industry standard - It's insulting & degrading to make people do this with a machine.Why have you removed the human interaction to get through to another human??

Worst Customer service and horrible Cafe Dishwasher

Just before Christmas on Black Friday we purchased this Cafe dishwasher on sale. I had it installed by you. We went to use the dishwasher the next day and found it didn’t work, the detergent wouldn’t open and it didn't heat up. We tried it probably 6 cycles and it wouldn’t work. I called and made a return and they provided me with a discount for having the issues. They came and installed the new (second) dishwasher. We just got that one installed I believe on 12/22/24. We used it 3-4 times and then an error code HRF popped up and it no longer worked (that is the heating element). I tried everything and the error will not reset. So I tried to do the online chat 3 times but was disconnected each time. So I called customer service. I told them my issue and that I no longer trusted this Cafe dishwasher and wanted to exchange for something else like a Bosch. My wife wanted to see one in person and the agent told me the store could process my exchange. We went to Best Buy at Easton (Columbus). We picked out our Bosch and I asked if I would get the discount that I received before for all the issues (a discount was provided for the issue I had), he said he could offer me $50 off only but not the $150 discount. So I went to process this and he told me I had to pay for it all up front again and the in 7-10 days I should receive a refund for what I already purchased? Well this didn’t seem right because I literally just went through this and I didn’t have to pay again on the other exchange? So I told them I would just call customer service instead. I called customer service again. They wouldn’t give me any discount, I explained I already had received a discount for the issues I was experiencing but they wouldn’t honor it and in fact wouldn’t even give me the $50 discount the guy at the store just offered. So now I no longer had the discount because it was no longer being honored and I missed out on the black Friday sale deal because of the faulty machines I was sold. I have been a loyal customer. I asked for a refund which will be processed after the return. I asked them to cancel my total tech which was processed. I bought the same machine for $200 less at Lowe’s plus I got my 10% discount for being a veteran. All I can say is wow! You lost a loyal customer, that was really bad!I made a appointment to have this dishwasher uninstalled and picked up from my house. This is the 3rd day of work I have missed due to this dishwasher. The guy for Best Buy showed up and within less than a minute told me he cannot help me because the dishwasher is still installed!!! He said that they don't uninstall, just pick up! They said I would receive a call from Best Buy to reschedule and also suggested that I could let Lowe's take the dishwasher when they come to put in my new one (I told them that they are coming.) Well no one from Best Buy ever called me so I reached back out and spoke with Jerry who said he is in Guatemala. He was very kind but had to put me on hold so he could speak with a manager, Kevin in United States. After a long hold and then a phone call back I was told by Jerry that I needed to call back tomorrow to reschedule a appointment. He said he couldn't do anything else because the appointment for today was still there or something like that. AWFUL!!!!

BEWARE

BEWARE! I booked a hotel in Philadelphia through Agoda on 2/8/25 with a cancellation policy up until 2/10/25. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel & when I called to do so on 2/10/25 they told me it was not possible. My only option was to cancel both days and get 50% in Agoda cash. Fortunately, Chase is an amazing credit card company and is helping me dispute this charge. Do not trust the website, they are scammers, and their customer service is worthless!

Do Not Trust! Trip advisor is removing posts?I had left two negative reviews for The Atlantis "resort" in Reno Nevada, one concerning the hotel/spa and one for a restaurant in the building (which has it's own independent Trip Advisor page). At the same time, I left two positive reviews for their main competitor down the street, the Peppermill Casino. Again one for the hotel/spa and another for a restaurant which is also in their building. A couple days later I get a notification that my negative reviews were removed, stating I am only allowed to leave one review per property, per visit, and only every three months. Obviously, the Atlantis complained to Trip Advisor, as my multiple positive reviews for Peppermill remain up. So this 'multi review per visit' policy isn't enforced equally.This leads me to believe Trip Advisor star ratings are definitely manipulated and not reflective of user's actual experiences (unless they are positive of course). The inability to leave a review for restaurants and other amenities, which have their own independent Trip Advisor pages, is thoroughly dishonest. If I stay at a resort hotel for several days, and visit multiple restaurants, etc. I should be able to individually review any of their services which have their own pages. Why else would they have independent Trip Advisor presence?This manipulation of star ratings and feedback is dishonest, in my opinion.I posted about this in Trip Advisor's forum. It generated a thoughtful discussion concerning Trip Advisor's manipulation of star ratings for their paid / premium clients. They have since removed the entire topic.Is Trip Advisor afraid of honest feedback, of both themselves and their paid subscriber businesses?

Very easy and straightforward to setup…

Very easy and straightforward to setup and use. Has to be one of the best versions to date. Very easy to follow directions had both Parallels desktop and Windows 11 for Arm on my M1 Mac mini up and running in less than 20 minutes. At the time of this writing it appears that Parallels is the only game in town for M1 macs.
