Account Closed With No Warning after 10+ years as a customer

I’ve been a loyal ASOS customer for over 10 years, spending thousands, but recently had my account closed without warning for "too many returns"—returns that were necessary due to ASOS's wildly inconsistent sizing and quality (I’ve worn everything from a 4 to a 12 in their own brands). They even penalized my paid Premier account before this, adding return fees and slower shipping.As a disabled person who relies on online shopping, this decision is not just frustrating—it’s genuinely harmful. I’d happily pay return shipping if ASOS would fix their sizing issues, but punishing customers for trying to find clothes that fit is both disrespectful and reckless.

Zoom Pro truncated for last 10 Contract weeks.

Bought Zoom Pro at end March 2022. Zoom renewed & took payment 10 weeks before renewal date in 2023. I wanted to cancel at end March 2024, so checked in Jan.. Payment already made from my Credit card to Zoom, but managed to get money back & cancel renewal. BUT Zoom downgraded me to Zoom Basic & Jan. meeting of over 50 participants was a disaster, having to restart Zoom every 40 mins.. A colleague bought a month’s worth of Zoom Pro for Feb. Meeting, so we paid twice for it! 10 weeks’ worth of Zoom Pro has been wiped out for me. There seems to be no recourse. Unless someone knows differently?!

Glassdoor policies are idiotic

Glassdoor policies are idiotic; real life Catch 22. As a stay at home parent I haven't had a paying job in the last 15 years. Now that I am in the job market for real I cannot use their site. They require me to submit job reviews and salaries from past jobs. The farthest back they go is 5 or 6 years on job history. So I either have to falsify employment dates or my entire job history in order to qualify to see their data about specific companies(past the trial period, which for me is long over). There doesn't seem to be way to pay for services. So its kind of like I have to have a job to get a job but I can't get a job using their service...because I don't have a job(yes obviously I don't HAVE to use their service which, now that I think about it, is probably a good thing). Furthermore, their input forms for collecting job data are very narrowly focused. They don't account for people who are paid via piece-work, people who are paid by the day or the job or the task, or the mile (transportation and trucking)

Thieves and scammers

I’d give zero stars if I could.I placed an order for several items. They arrived too late and so I had to return them.I returned everything in its original condition (I didn’t even try them on) I used the return postage label they provided (Tracked Royal Mail) I packaged and sealed everything securely.Tracking information shows my return has been received. They have only refunded for some of the items. They say some haven’t arrived at their Warehouse, which is impossible.This has happened to many other people I know.They are basically stealing from their customers and there’s nothing we can do about it (and they know it!)I don’t know how they get away with this and why they aren’t regulated.Please don’t shop with Zara online. They are thieves and scammers and they will rip you off!

Use the trading standards letters! They ignore all except NOTICE BEFORE COURT. It’s a laxative for them. The company is to be avoided. Please don’t buy; you are inviting chaos.

I already email them 3 times, talked to them 2 times, the wait time on the phone to talk with someone is about 1 hour or more.Six days after, still don't have my expensive mouse. Please, do yourself a favor and pick another brand.

Bought an expensive gaming monitor for the family from Lenovo via their website in September. It worked for less than a week and then nothing. Did not turn on. Not damaged. Just stopped working. Checked fuse and different plug etc - still did not work. Found a telephone number in the paperwork for support. Called them. Told by Technical team their system down on the first 2 calls a week apart - on the second call I said I had been on hold for some time and I insisted they speak with me; they then did their best to be helpful and they managed to get my details up on their system. What followed were then multiple requests for photos by email, all sent. More calls and followup emails. A lot of time spent on hold and talking to or emailing Lenovo. Eventally got a LEDOA code by email and told to take to retailer - to which I responded "you are my retailer" - but that email (I had added a read receipt) was deleted unread, I assume since ticket had been closed? Called "sales" ....and made more calls & emails. 5 weeks later talking to another redirected number "customer care" and told I have to go back to technical and ask for an actual "LEDOA certificate" before they can help - I said they only issued a number which had been provided and, having lost patience at this point, said I was not going back to anyone (this is about call 20!). Then told I still have to wait 5-7 business days for my refund even with this code. Sounded hopeful but then no refund sent, instead got an email saying that I needed to return item and needed to wait for a returns email. I did get that email a week later with returns details and I returned the product. No complaints details on the website that i could find, managed to get an email address from a technical support person. Complained by email - no actual resolution resulted and in fact they included what I assume (or hope) was automated text where they actually even tried to sell me an "extended warranty at a reduced price" in their response email - clearly not taking even complaints seriously. Logged something on the Lenovo community chat - included a running log of my communications .... and then this was subsequently edited by admin including redacting the compaints email address.More than 2 weeks after the return now and no communication from Lenovo. No refund. Email sent to follow up, not feeling very hopeful.Really need to treat customers better.

On the go Community

I joined ipsos in March and was invited to join their on the go community where you have to fill in three sections with approx ten questions each in detail, no one or two word answers here, but long paragraphs. They stated for each section you would get a £20 amazon gift voucher and a £10 bonus if you completed all three sections and any follow up questions. They stated that you had a few weeks to complete all the answers and didn't have to do them all in one go. Then a week after I started to fill in the questions they sent an email stating that they would top this up to £30 per section and a £20 bonus as they hadn't had enough people complete this. So I did as required, filled all sections in, answered all additional moderator's questions and then it confirmed that each section was completed and they would be contacting me in two weeks time about my £110 amazon vouchers. This was 14th March 2022 and I've heard nothing. I've emailed them, signed into both the On the go community site and the Ipsos site but to no avail. It took me well over an hour to complete all these questions and now I just feel conned. They are the no 1 recommended site for survey's on money saving expert's website and now I wish I hadn't bothered. I've put this up as a warning to other's because if you are on other survey sites sometimes Ipsos survey's will try to get you to sign up to this group through them. Don't waste your time.

I had always held Dell in high regard... BUT!

I have always held Dell in high regard. I have owned more than 10 of their computers/laptops over the years and found them reliable and well made. Just as well it turns out... My latest laptop developed a minor fault, one I thought would be easily resolved but No! One hour 45 minutes on a call with a 'service expert', running the same tests multiple times and repaeting myself ad nauseum and my issue is still unresolved! Good laptops but pray that they never go wrong because there is NO support if they do!

I’ve been a Cloudflare customer for years. Their DNS service is essential for any business - they are hands down, the best at this. Use this instead of the DNS service provided by your domain registrar.Some of their services are extremely useful, and require technical expertise to setup properly.

Review of bankrate

A change for the worse

Several years ago, Bankrate.com site was one stop to go to, to see the list of lenders with their competitive rates. I could simply enter the property zipcode answering a couple of question and that's it - I could see a table of rates. Now it is a totally different process, where I need to provide my contact info and one or two lenders will be throwing their sales pitch at me. A complete paradigm change. I don't think i will visit bankrate again.
