Made the way it won’t last longer than the initial warranty. We have purchased a Philips ambilight tv, and one month after the two year warranty simply no picture . It would cost nearly the same amount to fix the tv as buying a new one, all because they built the main board with no efficient cooling so over time the built in video card will be damaged . Try a different brand or pay extra for the extended warranty.
Utterly abysmal distrusting customer service. On the recommendation of my dentist, I bought an AirFloss. After one day, it failed to work. As I was in Italy, I contacted Philips via WhatsApp. At their request, I made a video of the useless appliance, sent a copy of the eBay order, all of the necessary appliance numbers and after a lengthy and tedious WhatsApp conversation, Philips said they would replace the faulty item when I returned to the UK and told me that I could dispose of the fault item, "responsibly." I bought another while in Italy, as I needed the appliance. On return to the UK, Philips could not find a record of the conversation which they must have deleted and nor could I. I could, however, find the video I sent to them and their request for a customer service review, from the original WhatsApp conversation. This was not enough and they asked for a photo of the item I had disposed of, together with another copy of the order I had already sent them. They refuse to believe me, and will not replace the item, as they had promised.I will never again buy a Philips product.
Received a wrong order and notified customer service on the same day. Haven't gotten any updates for 3 weeks now!! No item, not allowed to return, not being refunded :(I recommend never buying from Philips online store. In case anything goes wrong, you will receive no refund and no help for weeks!!
Shame on you! I ordered steamer 3 weeks ago and still 0 information about my package. I tried to solve the problem with customer servise 5 TIMES, they promised that I will get an email with information about my package. No information, no package. It's such a big company, how is this possible??? I'm super angry.
Abysmal customer service. Call center hangs up automatically regardless what day or which hour you call and their chat support freezes when you get down to 1st in line. The people Philips employs have no accountability or any will to help customers in any way. This is one of the worst companies in existence.
Oneblade shaver, designed to fail and cost the customer a small fortune in replacement heads for it.The issue is in the flimsy design and construction of the blade housing. It is so pathetically flimsy you will be buying blades soon after you've bought it AT £13.45 A POP !
Terrible customer service. i got 2 CPAP devices for replacement due to recall. Called 3 times to speak to manager, they put me on hold and transfer me to a queue to wait in the queue for hours... still no callback from manager. The worst CPAP company ever. Will never buy any Philips device anymore.
The Phillips comapny has one of the worst customer service representatives I’ve every dealt with. A female executive representative advised me that she was the final decision on a defective product that a senior VP assisted me with. The product failed again and she wouldnt back it up and denied a warranty after I showed all of the emails from him and our correspondences. She said he is no longer in charge and her decision stands. I hope she has been fired as she was a terrible representation of the Phillips company. I didn’t receive a tv replacement so I threw it out l. I have not and will not buy any Phillips product (including light bulbs) since as the new management doesn’t stand behind the product or customer satisfaction.. Horrible. Avoid product and be weary of warranty or lack therof.
Appalling customer service, hidden charges (international transaction fee that is impossible to address/reverse though product was ordered on the American website, for delivery within the US !?!), and overall they make it as difficult as possible to reach support, that once you do, their inept disposition and incompetence forces you to simply throw the towel in frustration. Never again Philips, never again.
We bought bulbs for our new light fixtures one to two years ago. One started blinking. At customer service where we bought it they said they couldn’t exchange for one bulb that was purchased in a multi pac. So I bought new ones. Now, another bulb has started blinking since. We switched out a new bulb in that same socket, as we did with first defective bulb, and moved blinking bulb to another socket and both times and determined it was the bulb. Philips says they need a receipt. We have bought hundreds of items at Home Depot and Lowes since and I’m not going to take hours searching for it. If I was a scammer would I call about just one bulb?
