Well done! - you've put me off the entire brand

Took a digital subscription and then out of principle, immediately cancelled it because it is not made easy to cancel - ie you cannot cancel on line yourself - you have to phone up to cancel which 1. is just annoying and wastes time and 2. it is likely that some people will be caught out by this policy and get charged for something they don't really want... if you'd have made it easy to cancel (like most subscription services) I might have stayed a bit longer - but now you've put me off the entire brand - well done!

Wall art and coffee mugs

I have bought the following wall art: 1) Orpheus in Hades by Pierre Marcel-Beronneau, 2) Song of the Angels, 1881 by William-Adolphe Bouguereau, 3) Good Shepherd by Unknown and the following coffee mugs: 1) Jesus in Gethsemane by Carl Heinrich Bloch, 2) Good Shepherd (my photo upload) and was extremely satisfied with all the results. Perfect reproductions with crystal clear clarity. Very professional work I highly endorse.

Review of co

The buyer made a false claim and abused…

The buyer made a false claim and abused the return system. eBay took the buyer’s side without properly reviewing the evidence. This was unfair — I lost time, effort, and peace of mind dealing with this. The buyer claimed that the motherboard I sold was defective and could not detect drives. However, in the BIOS screenshot submitted by the buyer themselves, it clearly shows that a SanDisk SSD was successfully detected on SATA1. This directly contradicts their claim.Additionally, their own setup photos revealed that they installed the RAM sticks in the wrong configuration — A2 and B1 — instead of the correct slots A2 and B2, as per ASUS’s official manual. This kind of mistake can easily result in boot failure or system instability, and likely caused the issues the buyer experienced. It was not a hardware fault, but a setup error by someone who clearly lacked the technical knowledge to assemble or test a system properly. After receiving the returned item, I personally tested the motherboard and CPU. I recorded a full video of the unboxing and step-by-step testing process. Everything worked perfectly: the system booted, all SATA ports functioned, the CPU and RAM were detected, and the system was stable. The item was exactly as described in the original listing.Despite submitting clear video evidence, screenshots, and a full technical explanation to eBay, my appeal was dismissed and the case was closed in favour of the buyer. This has wasted my time and energy and caused a great deal of frustration over a sale that was handled honestly and professionally from my side.As a seller, I feel unsupported and unfairly treated by a system that seems to default in favour of the buyer, even when evidence clearly proves their claim is false. This undermines seller confidence and encourages misuse of return policies by irresponsible buyers.I respectfully ask eBay to reconsider how cases like this are handled. Honest sellers who provide working products, clear descriptions, and technical evidence should not be penalized while buyers who make false or careless claims face no consequences.

Bitdefender has a great platform to help protect all your devices. With the family plan, I can help my family be safe from cyber risks. The Bitdefender platform is not as heavy as other antivirus programs I have had. Also, I had an issue with my account showing as a trial that had expired, and the Bitdefender support team helped me resolve very quickly (I had entered the wrong email address in once of the instances, which is why it was showing as a trial and not the paid subscription)

Review of wellsfargo

Beware of Wells Fargo

I’ve been a Wells Fargo customer since my parents opened an account for me as a child. I recently received a notification on the portal that I was pre approved for a personal loan. I was not looking for a loan but the interest rate was much lower than my current loans so I submitted the application and let them know the new loan was intended to absorb the other two, and was told someone would be in touch on 1 business day. Fast forward another week and I still haven’t heard back so I called and was informed that my application was declined and I’ll receive a letter sometime in the future. I was not taking on any additional debt, simply taking on the offer I was given to lower my current interest rate and be in a better position to pay off my loans sooner. Not only did they not reach out to let me know, but I now have another ping on my credit when I was only responding to the offer they shared on my client portal. Wells Fargo is the worst.

Review of sendgrid

I should've checked the reviews before…

I should've checked the reviews before trying. Everybody thinks this company is one-star!Everybody is right. We wanted to use a relay service to allow internal software (cloud alerts and our continuous delivery product) to be able to email our engineers and managers. sendgrid's website let us sign up for the service and start emailing, but the emails never showed up. there was no error or anything. i figured we had done something wrong in the setup so contacted support. they wrote back saying we need to be approved and describe our use case.this is sort of typical because if you are a spammer, you will hurt the relay's ability to send mail. however for our use case, we are emailing about 4-5 email groups which are all under our company domain. there's no marketing.support could not understand this. they were trying to have us fill out a form that had stuff like how we build our email lists and where our opt out form is. again for email marketing, makes sense but not for emailing a handful of internal emails that you yourself own. should be simple.the person could not understand this. i suggested maybe talking to someone more experienced, and she refused, said she would close ticket and only open it if i would speak with her.if she wouldn't have said this, i wouldn't have written a review. her rudeness led me to see that 77% of people (as of 3/1/2023) have given sendgrid a 1-star review. lesson learned, check reviews first! (also don't bother with sendgrid, there are services that have figured this stuff out and you can get working in a few minutes w/little hassel).

Review of patreon

Modern day criminals

Patreon wrongfully billed me for 130 euros. And now, two months and 20 emails later, they still havent given me my money back. At this point I doubt if ill get it back. Im still in contact with them, but they reply maybe two times a week if that and their responses are incredibly lackluster. Almost like they are stalling the whole thing and waiting for you to just give up. Absolutely the worst company I ever financially got involved with.

If I could give it less than one star

If I could give it less than one star, then I would. They have taken the money out of our account and put it back THREE times for my online order. The last time I overdrew my account because I didn't think they would have to do it AGAIN and already had the money. I tried customer service and it is not available at all. When somebody does call you finally after waiting a bazillion years, it is someone with poor English skills reading off of a script and is more frustrating than helpful. I will NEVER order something from them again online. TERRIBLE, just TERRIBLE!

Review of ipsos

Unprofessional and Inconsiderate – Avoid IPSOS Calls!

I was extremely unwell with a kidney infection, running a high temperature, experiencing body chills, and on antibiotics when I received an unsolicited call from IPSOS around 8:40 PM. In my distress, I ignored the call, but the sheer audacity of contacting people at such an unreasonable hour is beyond unprofessional. Even in developing countries, business research calls typically do not extend beyond 6 PM, yet IPSOS seems to have no regard for basic professional courtesy, let alone respect for people’s well-being. Their intrusive approach is unacceptable—stay away from them and ignore their calls so they are forced to learn and respect proper business hours in the UK!

Laptop (5 month old)stopped working a week ago, they sent two engineers and neither could fix the issue, now agreed that they need to send me a replacement. They are telling me that it will now take 2 weeks to be delivered. Meaning I am 3 weeks without a laptop and without the ability to work. Everytime I call they tell me they will speak to their manager but nothing changes. Each call is of such poor audio quality that it appear they are standing in a hurricane and talking trhough a sock. Review of biblegateway

Great for knowing scripture!

BibleGateway is a great site for looking at scripture in a number of great, true translations (including ESV, NASB, ASV, and KJV/NKJV). I've very much appreciated their reach and function of looking up scripture, but I've been pretty disappointed in the many different translations of the Bible that aren't really translations at all (including, but not limited to the MSG, NLT, etc.).
