Review of amazon

Great choice for students, good deals & fast shipping

Ever since I went abroad for my studies, I have been using Amazon and Amazon prime student to get prime deliveries and Prime Video, something I had heard of before but never tried because the service did not exist yet in my home country. I was positively surprised to see that delivery times were faster than on average mentioned with the order, the tracking of the orders was great and the return and refund process was as easy as ordering the item itself. When a product broke down, contact with customer service was great and even though it could not be fixed, a return shipment and refund for the product was quickly initiated without further questions. Yes, if you really want the higher quality product, you are going to have to do some searching but since that is common nowadays I did not have any problems with it. It's sad to have left the Canadian website, but I happily restored my prime subscription in my home country. Highly recommended!

They now force you to provide payment information even for the free plan. What was once a useful service has been ruined by greed.

refused to cancel and took my money twice

I got sucked in with the trial offer, then they charged my card last year. My mistake, but I received a notice that they charged my account again. I notified them the same day to cancel my account and provide me with a refund of $240.00 They gave me $120 back so I did a charge back against them. SCAM

I used to enjoy buying from Temu but lately they are messing up everything. My last order again was placed 5 days ago and wasn't even packed. There is a message next to my order saying they are sorry my order wasn't dispatched yet... wow, really?! Time to say goodbye..!

Give credit where it is due Temu sorted my problem out with delayed packages. They were helpful and really listened as over a £100 is a lot of money to loose. Really good customer service from Temu this time. Downside now !!! People that use Temu a lot like me never seem to get anything from them. No good discount codes or even a £10 voucher and loyal customers.

Review of outlook

Chat sent me to FAQs, FAQs sent me to chat. No answer as to what the right mobile no isn’t working.

I needed a verification code texted or called through to me in order to connect OneDrive to Outlook in order to send an attachment to apply for a job on holiday. The code didn’t come through on repeated attempts. After an hour or so on chat repeating the same information, I was sent a link to the help site I’d already looked at and told to use that. The options either all required the verification code I can’t get, or updating my security information which won’t work for 30 days. I tried the latter but it kept telling me I couldn’t update it as it is the same mobile number. So I have had to disconnect it from my mobile and use a gmail address. I went back to ask chat again why the code didn’t come through as they clearly have the right phone number - they have repeatedly ignored me. Upshot is I’ve missed a job application for the perfect job. Google mail here I come.

Review of lonelyplanet

Bring back the old format

Before your holiday, the fun usualy already starts with getting a lonely planet. But after my trip to Greece that feeling will have to be reserved for a different guide. With the new format there is no way of knowing where the nice restaurants, cafe's or sleeping places are. The internet doesn't provide for unbiased trust worty reviews. The lonely plantet now will tell you that Napflio is a nice town and the former capital of Greece. But for this information i can use wikipedia. It's for them a cheap way to make a "travel book" they don't have to travel there anymore.

Allow scams to sell their unlawful things online here without any control. Innocent children bite the bait and we parents have to pay for it. It should not be allowed. Be warned as customer service is just awful, don’t seem to care a damn and also you account might be hacked easily.

Review of doordash

Policies will make sure that they get your money and keep it.

For some reason, they had my order as pickup and would not change it to delivery. Who would think that it would be picked up if the app is called DoorDash? They wouldn't refund my money and would not change it to delivery when I offered to pay the delivery fee and tip. It made me lose my money. The only reason that I ordered the food was that before that, I ordered a charger, and they brought the wrong charger and gave me credits, and would not give me a refund, so I was trying to use the credits they made me have, and they screwed me on that. Complete waste of money. Don't order from Doordash Do Uber Eats or something else

Review of sendgrid

Do not use SendGrid

Average answer time on support messages is 5 weeks !! This on year 2020.And usually the answer is after 4 weeks incomplete.UI is very poorly grouped, not intuitive, many topics templates, statistics are in many different places.UI does not update nowhere - only browser refresh shows current right view.Terminology changes all the time and templates are confusing.API used to be good in SendGrid times before 2018, after that categories ? and many other features that used to work are not working.

Review of nintendo

People should be patient, but Nintendo should also deal with the situation better.

There are a lot of negative reviews of Nintendo on the internet right now, and quite rightly too. Speaking from the experience of someone that's in strategy, the way that Nintendo have dealt with things over the past few months has been really atrocious, and way too slow. Decisions at Nintendo need to be made by people more suited for disaster response. The reason for the backlash? Basic strategy 101: high customer expectations vs. bad delivery.Nintendo knew (as well as many other companies around the world) that their supply chain would be affected by the coronavirus, so that's when a suitable actionable plan should have been in place to deal with this to prevent all of the backlash they're currently getting.Customers don't read the fine print in things. They won't see the T&Cs regarding 'Order Confirmation' not actually meaning your order has been accepted and you're guaranteed the product (and you'll have to wait until it comes back in stock). They see 'free next day delivery' and expect next day delivery for an item you have told them is in stock (well, they've received the 'Order Confirmation' email haven't they?) and when you don't deliver that, they get annoyed, because their expectations were high and you didn't deliver.Hence the angry reviews, and the bombardment on your customer service team (I feel sorry for them having to deal with your lack of action plan). You are supposed to exceed expectations as a company. Even if you lowered customer's expectations at first via an update via your website/social media/email marketing, the backlash wouldn't have been this bad, you would have averted this PR nightmare.e.g. not guaranteeing free next day delivery, not using 'order confirmation' emails, introducing instant and pre-order confirmation, getting rid of the dispatch dates online, text by the checkout that you're product won't be guaranteed, it's subject to availability, and you'll be placed onto the pre-order list etc. They have only just changed the setup of their ordering email system, so, if you aren't one of the lucky ones to get the Switch confirmed straight away, then you'll receive a 'pre-order' email confirmation, including a section that says that you won't get the switch straight away, and expect __ date for them to come in stock (this should have happened weeks ago).I am writing this review rationally, as I read the T&Cs when I was ordering, and after multiple failed attempts ordered a switch yesterday and it arrived today, exactly when they said it would. Patience is key, but Nintendo should have done more.
