Minus 10 stars for all Sims 4 Origin game software and updates: being forced to do everything only online through Origin, including updates.I will try and add this review to every Sim 4 pack I own in order to try and warn people of this problem because it affects every single pack I have bought – and, unless they actually fix it, sadly wasted my money on.As I sometimes prefer old fashioned things, I’ve always been a bit dubious about having to download and play the Sims 4 game solely via Origin and always having to be online to start the game, I think, as I much prefer to have something tangible such as DVDs etc. Unfortunately the latest Origin update has proved me to be right as their latest update has completely and utterly ruined 95% of my game! I had naively assumed that updates could only be a good thing in order to protect my computer and improve game performance. Well, that was completely wrong. 95% of my characters are covered in weird, random tattoos from head to toe and look like aliens – which might be considered fun, but only if I chose that - which I most definitely have not.I reported the problem as a bug on 8th December 2020 after the update on 7th. I used the chat to ask for advice on 10th December, but all they could say was to wait for the next update, whenever that might be as, apparently, they are working to fix the problem their update created. When I checked my case today, 14th, all it says is “NO FIX AVAILABLE” with nothing to indicate that they are actually bothering to try and fix it or not and I can’t be bothered to waste yet more time trying to find out today.I could not be a more dissatisfied customer than I am right now. The actual game is usually great, although Sims 2 Apartment Life was far superior, in my opinion, to Sims 4 City Living, as was Sims 2 Bon Voyage compared to Sims 4 Island Living in some ways. But unfortunately it doesn’t seem like it will be possible to install my old fashioned Sims 2 discs and completely avoid Origin and their download rubbish, as I would like to do, as it refuses to install so far.Unless they actually fix this problem I am definitely not going to waste any more money on Origin, and after this awful gaming experience probably won’t anyway. Thankfully I’ve always waited for 50% discounts before buying extras, so at least I didn’t waste more money than I already have. Just as well it’s only a game and not anything actually important!I had to uninstall and reinstall everything – all because Origin controls everything and is useless at fixing any problems they cause with their updates. They presumably don’t care less about their customers once they have their money. So I’m not going to bother wasting any more of my money on their products because their so-called ‘customer service’ is so useless and a complete waste of time.

I bought a used iPhone 14 Pro and my purchase verified at a local AT&T store. It took me many hours online and at the AT&T store to get my phone working with AT&T. And, it was an AT&T locked phone. Very frustrating. Now, after a year of horrible reception, I would like to have my phone unlocked. I have called tech support or six times and spent literally three or four hours on the phone. Each time they say it will be unlocked within three days. Now, nearly 3 weeks later my phone is still . I guess I will either sell the phone or try again. For the life of me, I cannot understand how horrible the tech support people are AT&T.

I purchased a microwave stand from Target in Greenbrier, Chesapeake, VA on February 11, 2023 and when it was opened to put together the wood was bent. Tried to take it back to exchange and it was no longer in stock. I couldn't get money back or exchange. I will never shop at any Targets again.

I went on line and ordered and item . To my surprise I had circle points that paid for it. The item was 20 miles away but near my work so I ordered it. Next day when I should have been picking it up. Now they do not have it. So I changed AGAIN to another store. I then get a email of cancel. I call and am told it was not available but I can go 20 miles the other way. I said ok . I was asked what method of payment I wanted to use . I said it was paid in full with my Target circle credit .She preceded to tell me that the credit from the cancel(the cancel they did) will not be back on for 72 hours. I was on the phone for 20 minutes no one could make this right.They are turning themselves into a Walmart. So Sad.

ATROCIOUS TECHNICAL SUPPORT FROM HEWLETT PACKARD: I recently renewed my warranty on my Hewlett Packard Laser Jet MFP 283fdw printer. I tried for 75 minutes today to get through to a technical support representative. When I tried using the HP website and entered my cell phone number, I got an error message that read, "This mobile number is not available. If you own this mobile number you can release it by signing in to the other account and changing it there. Alternatively you can sign in to that other account and proceed with the experience." While I may have had another account 5-10 years ago in connection with a printer that I no longer own, I have no access at the present time to any such account. I did generate a Case Number today for phone support but I could not get through using the phone number that was provided, (877) 232-8009, as my product serial number was required and the software did not recognize my speaking out the serial number. Earlier I got the same result by calling (800) 474-6836, software that could not recognize my speech. I am a native speaker of unaccented American English. (877) 656-7058 would not connect me multiple times when I called in the past two hours. Instead I got a recording saying that all agents were on other calls every time I called. When I tried to send a message to Hewlett Packard about these difficulties my password was not recognized and I was invited to change it online. Only after doing so did I realize that it was my Facebook password and not my Hewlett Packard password that was changed. After going through all that I got an error message back telling me that my message to Hewlett Packard would not be responded to. CASE NUMBER 5117324623.

I have subscribed to the Economist for some time but tried to cancel my subscription today. What a disgraceful procedure to put in place by the Economist! No matter which option you choose as your reason for wanting to leave, it then gives a popup message saying 'Let's have a chat'. You are expected to then telephone them to discuss it. Eventually I used the Live Chat option and despite telling the person on the other end that I just wan to cancel, he kept trying to upsell me with half price offers and asking me to explain my reason for wanting to leave. I kept saying 'Just cancel my subscription', he kept trying to prevent that. Eventually, after providing all of my personal details, he agreed to cancel.I now see that despite numerous postings on this forum describing this awful procedure to try to leave, the Economist replies to them all by saying 'We're sorry to hear about your difficulties' etc. but does absolutely nothing about changing the process. I expected better of the Economist, it is shameful. I will never renew my subscription and I will tell many people not to subscribe, I could never recommend a publication that treats its customers in this way. But I bet they do nothing about it!

another two days and seven hours on the phone trying to resolve a $136 dispute. One full day of income lost and I still haven’t got the $136 back and American Express used to be great. Now they suck 14 telephone calls six disconnects 20. Repeat the entire story from start to finish again. Now when you call American Express, you get to feel furious for hours like when you call any other bank credit card company nothing but a hassle and incompetent people they suck.

But they told me "Be advised that you can try it and come back before 14days and they will unenroll me and return the enrollment". So I tried and find out the course is just under 20 lines of codes session for total complete newbie which i can find thousand better on the internet. And then when I contacted support again for unenrollment they said " We can not do that because you completed the course" Wow! Totally bulls***. The support really "Understand your concern"

I collected 25$ of Donations of which i can withdraw 22.13$. After adding my bank information, it told me „processing“ or whatever. I can understand that it takes a while. After 1 week they told me they need proof of how i earned the money and where i advertise the page and stuff. After doing that and waiting another Week they told me that they needed more proof and asked for basically exactly the same information. (I own a small YouTube channel with 5k Subscribers). I entered it again and after another week of waiting they just declined my „request“ or my „proof“ i don’t know what to call it. It just seems like they want me to give up on that 22$ cus they are so slow and annoying. I would recommend this site to no one and if you think about using the site for donations, don’t do it! I recommend using ko-fi instead, i just started using it and the money goes directly into my paypal there :)
