Review of philips
I recently purchased a Philips Sonicare toothbrush and, unfortunately, accidentally broke the charging glass. While I acknowledge my responsibility for the breakage, I was disappointed with the fragility of the glass. Subsequently, I sought to purchase a replacement charging glass, only to discover that it is priced at $20. However, the major letdown is that Philips does not maintain spare part stocks in New Zealand. Instead, all parts are shipped from Australia, incurring a freight charge of $25. Consequently, the total cost for a replacement glass amounts to $45.I find this situation unsatisfactory, particularly considering the size and presence of Philips as a company in New Zealand. It seems reasonable to expect that a company of Philips' stature should maintain spare part stocks locally to facilitate smoother and more cost-effective transactions for consumers. While I understand that my situation does not qualify for a warranty claim, the absence of a local spare part inventory and the high shipping costs are discouraging. I urge Philips to reconsider its approach to spare part availability in New Zealand, as it significantly impacts the overall customer experience. As a result of this experience, I am hesitant to continue purchasing Philips products in the future. I hope my feedback contributes to improving the customer service and satisfaction with Philips products in the New Zealand market.

I signed up for a Trial. The welcome message stated: "After the free trial ends on August 25, 2024, you will be charged CAD $29.37 (incl. tax) monthly. Your subscription will automatically renew annually until you cancel (price subject to change)." Note the use of 'monthly' here. When I went to cancel they will bill for for the remained of the year, in my case another $116.96. I feel deceived, and I have a very low opinion of this predatory billing practice. Shame on Adobe.I see the Better Business Bureau has this when I logged this experience there:Current Alerts For This BusinessGovernment Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct::FTC vs Adobe SystemsThe Federal Trade Commission is taking action against software maker Adobe and two of its executives, Maninder Sawhney and David Wadhwani, for deceiving consumers by hiding the early termination fee for its most popular subscription plan and making it difficult for consumers to cancel their subscriptions.

Review of kickstarter
The problem with this platform is when a project turns out to be a fraud they do Zero, including keeping their fee which is effectively making money from fraud which I’m pretty sure is illegal so I’ve now learned the hard way, don’t invest in a Kickstarter project.

Discrimination they do not treat well tourism they judge for the skin or appearance. We order drinks and food ( Clarita) the waitress never provided the complement or appetizer’s but next table order just one beer and they gave 2 cups of olive and potatoes.

I would give NO stars if possible. Had 2 successful bookings and then they started scamming me.Was told "app glitched" so my booking was not made. Asked several times to customer service to check as they had taken my money and when I phoned the establishment they said no booking. Customer service assured me it was cancelled and would get a refund.Due to this error I went ahead and tried to rebook a day later once assured no booking. The new booking went through and enjoyed my stay. The first booking was never refunded. Contacted customer support to be told it takes up to 28 days for refund. It is now 3 months later and customer service is now arguing that they won't refund me as I was a "no show". No show to a booking I did not travel to, because I was told was cancelled!! Repeatedly assured I would be refunded. Now I m out of pocket and they don't care.SO PLEASE, AS MUCH AS IT LOOKS LIKE A GOOD DEAL - DON'T GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID x

Review of ravelry
Ravelry is THE source for all things fiber. If you want patterns, expert help, or inspiration, Ravelry is your one-stop platform.NOTE: The terrible reviews are being posted by people who disagree with Ravelry's stance on hate. If you want to be hateful about any group, then you're going to have to go elsewhere because Ravelry is no home for hate and no haven for haters.

Followed the student discount offer on their site and was asked to upload a document with proof of Institute Student Number Photo and Name. Sent this and received an e-mail saying they needed to confirm my 'status'. I did not understand what they meant by this. I further sent screen grabs of me signed into my College and also an e-mail from my Tutor form that week about that week's lesson. They then sent an e-mail saying I was not eligible as had exceeded upload limit. Why bother with a student discount if you do not want to honour it for half of these people. Total joke
Review of parallels
I have used Parallels for many years. Each new version gets better than the last version, This latest version to support Windows 11 is the best yet. It’s speed is very good almost unbelievable. I am running it on a MacBook 12” 8GB and 512 GB storage from early 2015 and with Windows 11. I am really impressed with the speed. It has given new life to my MacBook.

So i am still in the queue an hour later with no indication of when i will be able to get in. The Eventbrite system doesn't work for National trust and it drags them down. I appreciate we need a booking system just one that can handle the volume of traffic and keep users informed!

Review of economist
Bought an Economist pen as a gift from the economistdiaries.com - the official Economist distributors Collins Debden. Picture on website shows it comes with a leather stud gift box/pen holder case. The description also refers to unique stud fastening gift box. Also refers to a refill. Pen arrived in a flimsy paper box. No stud gift box and no refil. Contacted economist diaries and told the description was a mistake. They clearly have the cases as the photograph included this! Will have to return this as I can give (an expensive) pen to someone who may look it up online and think I've kept the stud carry case and the refill. Obviously a scam outfit - complete rip off
