Review Time
You know this review I write about Xbox customer support service being the worst customer service I have ever dealt with isn’t going to effect Xbox. This review will not effect the money they have coming in but I need to vent about the experience I have had with this company. Xbox customer service representatives are not about helping the customers out. They are like talking to robots who are trained to say the same thing over and over. I pay bills out of one account and have enough money in this one account to cover all the bills. But when unexpected charges come from Xbox causing my rent check to be returned costing me a 50.00 dollar charge from my apartment complex and another 30.00 NSF from my bank, of course I am going to try to resolve this issue. I lost count on how many call backs it took for Xbox to reimburse me for the two unexpected charges, one customer service rep says those refunds will be processed in 3-5 days and another says I do not see those refunds being processed in the system. I also want to be refunded for the fees from my bank and my apartment complex. I can provide all supporting documents showing the fees deducted due to the unexpected charges from Xbox. What’s the issue with refunding all charges on both sides like this never happen. Oh yeah and the process we have to go through just to talk to customer service is a way to deter customers from working out the issues they are having. Oh yeah and when you get to talk to customer support and they say they are not online and will be back up in a couple hours and they will call you back when they are up, more ways for the customer to give up and forget about the issues with billing and payments. Oh yeah and when you want to talk to a manager and they say they are dealing with other calls and put you on hold, again more ways to make you want to hang up and forget about your issues. So I’m done venting, Xbox customer service is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, I’m canceling my subscription and going to PlayStation where we don’t have to pay for game play. Microsoft Xbox company I hope your business goes under and is beat out by PlayStation because you are not about your customers. Screw you Microsoft Xbox!!!!
Long time happy customer. By reading the reviews from most people. They are either parents of people who use the service or childish people who logged on to say playstation was better and not an actual customer. And i for one have been an xbox user 10 years and a live user for 8. And in my time i have little to no problems. I even had a time a couple years back that i had an xbox gold trial back on the 360 days i activated it just before christmas and my account had an error that still wouldnt allow me to play online and i reported it to microsoft support and a generous man whos name i cannot remember gifted me a 3 month gold. So for you who say microsoft do not care i disagree. Keep up the good work and roll on Scarlett 2020.
Xbox support is the absolute worst support for a million dollar company. It’s shocking how bad it is and such a disappointment, can’t even get help with things and contact somebody without waiting 3/4 days and have nothing helped in the end. Wish I could rate 0 stars for this terrible company that doesn’t care about customers.
I have had Xbox live for over a decade. The customer support is the absolute worst I have ever encountered. You have to jump through hoops like some trained monkey just to get some one on the phone and even if you do it's a crap shoot whether or not they can actually help you. All I tried to do was return a digital copy of a game in less than 48 hours after purchase. A few hours of trying to get some one on the phone only to be told I have to "request" a refund and they will get back to me in 72 hours. God forbid this multi billion dollar corporation pay people to answer the phones. Absolute garbage.
In a nutshell absolute joke, when it comes to getting your money back from Xbox, nobody has a clue what the hell is going on, you have reference numbers for the sake of reference numbers all with the same status has the one before " there been escalated to higher level" what Bill Gates, joking apart we had £477 pound taken from us and has caused financial and mental stress with no light at the end of the tunnel, until they get there act together???
I was using an account in a game and wanted to change my privacy settings. I went to the website and it redirected to a support article every time. I followed the steps in the article and the link leads back to the same article. I did this for about 15 minutes before contacting support in live chat. They told me it’s iOS and Safari’s fault so I downloaded Edge as they recommended. I tried again, same issue. They said download Edge (which I was using) to try again. I wasted another 30 minutes trying to just get the page to open with support. Then the site kept asking me to log in, which I already had done. It asked for a verification code which I never received. I was getting mad and contacted support about it. They told me check my account security settings. I followed the link they gave me, and was asked to log in again. Which I couldn’t do because the code didn’t work. Then support said I had to do it to get my code. At this point I was stuck unable to log in and with useless support people. I know one thing for sure, I’m NEVER using a Microsoft account, Windows phone, xbox, or Edge browser again. I don’t appreciate them redirecting me to their products to “help solve” my solution either. Why claim to support iOS when you clearly don’t?
i have been playing xbox for a couple years now the xbox 360 was great but every time they update the xbox one loads of new glitch's come and takes mouths to fix them and the ones they do fix it just breaks in another way. The keyboard for the xbox one has never worked properly since i have had it (I have had it at least 4 years now) when games freeze or close, half the time the whole xbox freezes and slows down for like 10 mins when the point in the closing or crashing is to keep that from happening the xbox app on the phone just recently i could use it at all but it is the slowest thing ever loading your messages on the app or on the computer takes at least 10 mins to load then you have to load each one with takes a bit you would think after a couple years or just one they would work out the kinks but no they never had a time without glitch's and the servers crash all the time so if your looking to get a console get ps4 honestly
