Review Time
I really don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews.I’ve used Calm for almost a year and it’s helped me so much.I have struggled getting to sleep for years and didn’t think anything would help. It took a while for me to get used to the sleep stories but now I can’t go a night without one.I also listen to different meditations a few times a week when I’m feeling worked up or anxious and they always make me feel more calm and relaxed.
I had never heard of Calm.com until charge appeared on my credit card. Fortunately, the fraud department of my bank detected it and are processing a claim for me. Unfortunately, the bank felt it necessary to cancel my card and issue a new one to me. A real inconvenience!
I bought a special offer lifetime Calm subscription in July 2022. Calm have now taken an annual subscription from my credit card so I was totally misled. I cannot use it as it will not stay live when my screensaver times out. Many people have checked my settings and other sites/apps stay live so this is either a scam or badly designed software.
Charged $399.99 USD (converted to almost $550 CAD) despite never having used their services. I downloaded a free trial in 2020 and was never subscribed to them. This has caused me to file a legal dispute and have a cancelled credit card with little to no action on them to rectify it.
Dreadful- just took £400 out of my account for no reason! A nightmare to try and get in contact with - their whole route to complaint resolution is totally invisible and non existent to access. Still outstanding £400 and won’t be using them again unless they resolve it quickly!
I recently renewed a Calm subscription that had lapsed in 2022. What a mistake!!!!! Much of the relevant to me content (meditation only, and if possible, not with Tamara, whose voice gives me the creeps) was gone, replaced by mini meditations that had to have been designed by speed dating organizers. Two or three or five minute meditations are a total waste of time and effort. I feel like I got caught in a bait and switch.
They charged my card twice for $399.99 out of nowhere then instantly refunded me. I emailed them and they responded to me, but when I replied the email won't go through. I even tried sending a new email and it looks like they blocked my email. My bank handled it right away so I'm good but beware.
