Review of WordPress
I run a blog hosted on WordPress.com and its an easy setup which lets one simply worry about the work of writing while the heavy lifting and housekeeping of running a website is done by the platform. For one who simply wants a home for their content, a free WordPress plan could suffice but upgraded plans also come with added perks such as custom domain names and removing ads, although one does not quite get the level of personalisation and customisation one can get as compared to self-hosting. For a power internet user who wants custom themes, plugins and such on their site they would have to upgrade to a business plan but the pricing for that is bit steep compared to self-hosting.What I like best about WordPress.com is the community and it has a reader which makes easy to connect with other bloggers on the platform
Review of vrbo
AVOID VRBO at all costs. The Host portal is painful and difficult to navigate. Their customer services are unhelpful, they refuse to log issues with their Tech Support Dept. I tried their online chat as they have removed all email addresses but, after 30 mins of waiting for a code to be texted, they told me to call their helpdesk. I've spent 8 hours over 2 days trying to create my listing and have now given up. Airbnb is far superior but I'd really like to list my property on another holiday site. Unfortunately VRBO is not user friendly and couldn't care less about their Hosts. Do yourself a favour, don't waste hours of time, painful conversations and frustrating interactions. Avoid VRBO at all costs.
Review of tiktok
Tiktok app is getting worse. They do not understand English, or do not want us to have a sense of humour, to engage with friends posting a joke to have a laugh. They repeatedly remove comments, which do not violate community standards, and also removal of posts which are innocent .I had a post with 2 children sitting watching tv screen .They removed it.Bur they allow a naked man standing infront of tv?? Today I came across a cartoon family guy characters ,he was holding a shotgun on a post and tiktok allowed that to be posted. They treat innocent people unfairly, keep watch over them ,take down content for no reason.Tik Tok staff needs retraining ,and having computer bots, has made the situation worse.
Review of reverbnation
Poor customer service- I had a recent issue where I was suddenly spammed in my yahoo with mails that normally landed on the site's mail. Customer Service told me that this was normal state of affairs and there was no way to alter this preference. I tried to confirm this was this case as it hadn't been for the previous 4-5 years, with no response.I have to say, beyond this experience is the obvious fact that there business model only exists to commodify the artist as consumer. You always feel greasy when using it :(.Update: two weeks after posting this review, they've added my email to their "do not contact list". That's one way to to solve the problem, but to not give this preference to the artist upfront is a little behind the times.
Review of ikea
I recently ordered the PAX system and Bestä cabinet from IKEA, with a total cost of around 7000€. The delivery process turned out to be a significant disappointment, leaving me with a mix of frustration and inconvenience. The delivery was divided into 5 shipments, and immediately, issues arose. One of the deliveries has been stuck for a month due to a problem in the IKEA system. This forced me to contact customer service and request a refund, adding an unnecessary hassle to the overall experience.Another delivery contained only a single glass door, which arrived with a noticeable crack in the corner. While this was certainly inconvenient, it paled in comparison to the most disappointing delivery of all. This particular shipment included a whopping 70 items. The delivery team worked so swiftly that I couldn't count the packages in real-time. However, upon closer inspection the next days, it became apparent that six crucial packages, including core components for the PAX and Bestä, were missing, along side few grffs while they were mentioned in the delivery note of that shipments. This forced me to reorder the missing items to complete the assembly process, causing delays and added expenses. The situation highlighted the need for customers to meticulously verify every piece of their delivery, as missing components can lead to significant setbacks. This task becomes even more daunting when considering the delivery cost, which was already a substantial 370€.In conclusion, It's advisable for future customers to be prepared to thoroughly inspect each delivery and, if possible, explore alternative delivery options to mitigate potential issues.

Review of flexjobs
I thought the customer service representative that I spoke to was excellent. In regards to the site itself I would rate it a three because the jobs that I looked at were not what I was looking for and it kept feeding me the same jobs repeatedly regardless of what I inputted in the search engine.
Review of care
I was looking for a person to help with medical transport and also to help around the house with things I could not do. There were no transport people available and I received no responses so when I went to cancel the service I was told it was not eligible for a refund. It should say on the site where you choose the subscription non-refundable.

Review of wpengine
WPEngine has been a disappointing experience for me. While their servers are fast, their support team is unhelpful, rude, and slow. The WPEngine platform also has numerous bugs. For example, if you want to turn off auto-updates, there's no option to do so. This can ruin your website with incorrect versions and updates, especially in cases like mine where I manage a large website and need to ensure that updates don’t cause any issues. However, with WPEngine, you don’t have the option to prevent this; they will likely ruin your website. I had to do extensive hard coding just to stop WPEngine from controlling aspects of my site. I've encountered many issues that they couldn’t resolve, all arising from their servers—or more specifically, from their platform. Often, they simply ignore my concerns. I have tickets that have been open for four months. After two years of using their service, I’m really struggling and am actively searching for an alternative that offers the same speed and performance. After I wrote this review they contacted with me and they said this exactly:"I understand how important it is to have control over updates, especially for a large website like yours. While WP Engine automates updates to enhance security and performance, it’s clear that this approach has caused issues for you. We do have the option to defer major updates for 30 days, which would provide more time for you to test it out to make sure your site is readySo clearly you can stop the update for 30 days, but you can't turn it off, in my case, I have written code added to some old plugins, and I want them to stay as they are, I don't want to update anything, because they are customised now, but they kept updating them and ruining my website, then I had to hard code and force the updates to stop, so technically you can't control your website easily and you will struggle a lot, I highly don't recommend them as a host, be clever and find a better alternative.
Review of winzip
Absolute extortion! I downloaded the Winzip System Utilities Suite, to help improve my PC's health in 2015 and at first it seems like a great purchase. But I kept getting regular prompts to renew my subscription, which slipped by me with all my other regular subscription requests. They automatically took my money. Today I realised that their product had changed and some options were no longer included in the suite, so I decided to try to cancel my subscription. No surprise, there is no easy way to do so on their site. I opted to cancel their Payment Permission on my Paypal and took a look at what I'd paid them too. My jaw hit the floor: for a £44.34 subscription, they had taken £192.90 from me in 2023 alone! I requested an overview of my purchases and found they had taken £1040 for a subscription that should have cost £351 over the last 9 years! Thats a deficit of £689!! I have tried raising the matter with Winzip (Corel) but they have no direct contact option, hence I am here raising hell! AVOID - AVOID - AVOID - WINZIP!
