I recently ordered the PAX system and Bestä cabinet from IKEA, with a total cost of around 7000€. The delivery process turned out to be a significant disappointment, leaving me with a mix of frustration and inconvenience. The delivery was divided into 5 shipments, and immediately, issues arose. One of the deliveries has been stuck for a month due to a problem in the IKEA system. This forced me to contact customer service and request a refund, adding an unnecessary hassle to the overall experience.Another delivery contained only a single glass door, which arrived with a noticeable crack in the corner. While this was certainly inconvenient, it paled in comparison to the most disappointing delivery of all. This particular shipment included a whopping 70 items. The delivery team worked so swiftly that I couldn't count the packages in real-time. However, upon closer inspection the next days, it became apparent that six crucial packages, including core components for the PAX and Bestä, were missing, along side few grffs while they were mentioned in the delivery note of that shipments. This forced me to reorder the missing items to complete the assembly process, causing delays and added expenses. The situation highlighted the need for customers to meticulously verify every piece of their delivery, as missing components can lead to significant setbacks. This task becomes even more daunting when considering the delivery cost, which was already a substantial 370€.In conclusion, It's advisable for future customers to be prepared to thoroughly inspect each delivery and, if possible, explore alternative delivery options to mitigate potential issues.
