Good content even if somehow limited vs competition, but plagued with massive and frequent technical issues. Almost unable to log in in browser or app on Windows ("Sorry we have an issue, try later") and when successful almost never able to read a video (random error, most often 83 and 42 - 42 being check internet and I've a fiber connection with Netflix or Prime working well at the same moment...). Support is no use, asking all kinds of questions largely unrelated to their bloody app (restart app, reboot computer, reboot router... ignoring all other apps works well...)Works a bit better on Android (successfully looking at a video once out of two trials), but forget downloading content to watch offline in a plane : hyper slow and never reaching completion...

Thankfully I no longer subscribe to the BBC ,I watch Netflix and YouTube via firestick,easily set up on my tv.Today I see Tony Hall, director of the BBC stands down and a new replacement Tim Davis man's the helm,well Tim ,Tony handed you a batten covered in dog do do (what a nice man).But I notice not one top BBC position is filled by a person of colour,where's the diversity the BBC you so often preach about. I did watch BBC news not now ,for a long time I have had to relay on my phone for news in the uk ,on an average day you would be excused for thinking it was an American news service as that's all we seem to here about in great length

I reached out to Agoda to cancel my hotel reservation, because my father had passed away. And I could no longer travel on the date that was booked. They lied and stated the hotel wouldn't allow it. I received an email from Agoda stating, I could cancel, but I would still be charged for the hotel stay. I reached out to the hotel and they stated it was up to Agoda to do the cancellation. You book through Agoda and they use another third-party to book for you. So, if you have an issue, they have to reach out to the third-party. That they used to do your booking, and it takes 72 hours for a response. I will NEVER you them again.

Like so many on here, I'm utterly flabbergasted at The Telegraph's 900% subscription increase (£29 a year to £269) and their underhand, unethical, aggressive customer 'service'. I did get through to someone quickly, but it was highly galling to be repeatedly told I was a VIP customer and VERY important to them, but to be treated like absolute s*it on their shoe. I suggest that whoever devised this insane, obnoxious way of treating people be sacked with immediate effect. Even my 88 year old father, a lifelong reader of the paper, is vowing not to renew his subscription if they don't come to their senses. In the end I had to accept losing £60 for an annual subscription I now very much don't want, so that I don't have to fork out an unbelievable £269. I've cancelled my paypal subscription so that come May 2025 The Telegraph loses my custom for good. Judging by the other terrible reviews on here I'll be far from the only one.

Spotify got increasingly worse in regards to customer satisfaction. People can no longer register a Spotify account easily because of Spotify's anti-privacy captcha system that does not accommodate privacy-respecting internet browsers. People can no longer listen to music on Spotify easily without being bombarded with extremely repetitive advertisements unless they pay for subscriptions. People can no longer cancel their subscriptions on Spotify easily without having to tell their banks to stop charges on their bank accounts. Because Spotify is controlled by thieves who do not honour an honest process that will allow people to cancel subscriptions in an easy way. People can no longer have proper customer support on Spotify's customer support website. Celebrities, music artists, and marketers have the audacity to promote this trashy platform for customers to buy their products.

After 24 years of loyal service I decided to end my Platinum membership.After several reorganizations , customer centricity, that this company was a leader in , had been demolised.Higher educated and experienced employees with empathy customer focus ,have gradually been replaced by employees of an average call center level that promise the moon but never return calls Loyalty programs developed by the US organization are rolled out in Europe without checking whether the IT infrastructure of partners support this .Repeatedly filed cases which were not properly picked up by the Dutch organization !If you are lucky you get a Dutch speaking employee on the line, but usually you land somewhere in probably a low cost country Employees show no empathy and do not keep their promises Leaving customers in the dark is not the way to go.
