Irish Book Sellers did not refund my money.

I am writing this review concerning Irish Book Sellers which sold the book I ordered under Abe Books. Irish book Sellers sent me the wrong book. After several back and forth with Irish book Sellers I had to send the book back at my expense. My order was placed and debited on April 17,2020. I received the wrong book In A timely manner. I have requested my refund quite a few times. Sent a copy of my receipt where mailed with the tracking number. I have checked the tracking myself which shows the book was in fact delivered.Irish book sellers are not recommended at all. It is June 6, 2020 and still no refund from them. Also no response to to the last several emails I have sent.My opinion: do NOT purchase from Irish Book Sellers.

Nice cruise - REALLY BAD customer service afterwards

We had a very nice cruise with the Oasis in October 13 - and decided that this was certainly not our last trip with RCCL

On board we therefore filled out an application for membership of the Crown & Anchor Society and were told, that it would be a fortnight before we heard something in reply. WE HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM.

After coming home I wrote RCCL an email praising the cruise and the ship we left a week earlier, and at the same time I asked them some questions regarding their new smoking policy effective from January 1st 2014. I HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM.

As a danish citizen I contacted RCCL Nordic 2 weeks later explaining the trouble and after another two weeks we finally received our membership numbers. All we had to do was login on RCCL's website and activate them. My guess is, that WE'VE TRIED TO DO SO ABOUT A HUNDRED TIMES.

Quite soon I wrote RCCL USA and Nordic explaining a malfunction on their website - after a while I heard from Nordic, but NOT A WORD FROM RCCL HQ.

A month before Christmas the Nordic division emailed me telling that the american collegues responsible for the website were on holiday, but things would be fixed as soon as they were back. Just about a week earlier the Nordic division had let me know, that my questions regarding smoking policy would soon be answered from the department whom it concerns.

..and by the way we signed up for emails concerning campaigns, discounts and such, and have never received just one - and yes, we do check the spamfilter in our email. So even though we signed up, we receive nothing - and from our travel agent we know that there are lots of campaigns and offers. Maybe they're a secret to previous customers in order to lure som new ones into buying a cruise.

Tody is January 11th 2014, and I HAVE HEARD NOTHING SINCE LATE NOVEMBER 13

All this just to let future customers know, that you are ill adviced to expect any kind of service from RCCL once your cruise has ended.

Sold false product (promised daycare that didnt exist)

I called and booked my cruise directly with Royal Caribbean on 3/28/19, for the 6 day Canada and new England cruise out of New York on the Adventure of the Seas. When I called, I specifically asked if daycare would be available for my 12- month- old child. Not only was I told yes, but I was even given hourly rates and approximate hours of operation. Because I was guaranteed daycare would be available, I paid nearly $3,000 for this "vacation". When I boarded on 5/25/19, I found out that daycare was NOT available on the cruise for children under 3. I would have NEVER paid $3,000 for this cruise if I hadn't been lied to!! If anything, I could've paid more to bring along a nanny to help, if I had been given the correct information. I have spoken to several team members at Roy Caribbean and, despite having the promise of daycare on a recorded line, they refuse to compensate me more than a $350 refund and a 25% voucher off a future booking. I called, asked for a cruise that met my needs, was sold this and paid for what I was told I was getting. If I order a blue pair of jeans and instead get white jeans, I expect a refund or replacement - not 25% off my next pair of jeans

Finally banned from msn. First my GERMAN username was banned (completely inoffensive username but MSN clearly doesn't understand German), forcing me to change it to another German username, which followed a ban for (presumably) expressing anti-monarchist views-the only subject which I have been commenting on for over a week. Consequently, I am going to remove MSN news, Bing/Edge off my computer and cancel my Microsoft subscription! Nineteen Eighty-Four was intended by Orwell as a warning, not as 'Censorship for Dummies' guidebook!

Facebook Marketplace is terrible.

Since august, 2021 until now I have purchased several items thru marketplace. All orders were paid for at time the orders were placed and all have been posted to my bank or credit card. I also have order confirmation and tracking numbers. 5 different purchases are not responding to my inquiry about where are my products. The seller is not responding nor or they updating info about the tracking. two sellers have deleted the tracking number and will not respond to emails. Phone calls say the line has been disconnected.Facebook has been notified about each individual issue and has done NOTHING to assist. They continue to allow the sellers to advertise on marketplace.When I go to the web page, it says call XXX. When I cal, a recording says they no longer respond by phone but to use the web page.The marketplace function of Facebook is unworthy of my business. They definately need to improve their customer relation service and post better information on how to contact and speak with a person.

Worst customer service. 4 year old washer started acting up but not showing error codes so customer service cant help. They offered to run smart diagnosis over phone but after they transferred me back and forth to their refridgerator department 4 times I gave up. Will be replacing washer with another brand. Never again LG

Zero customer service. Totally shocking.

Zero customer service. As others have said as a buyer they use manipulated shipping times to be misleading.I also have had a couple of stores and there are so many hoops and bugs, both stores got blocked for various arbitrary reasons, no support to help me with the issue. They just outsource support to cheap centres with illiterate staff who have no idea what they’re doing. After trying to get them to assist, they just told me to keep resetting my browser and then left the chat?!They make a killing on the fees (there are about 4-5 different fees per sale) yet they can’t provide a decent, honest, functioning service. Totally shocking.

Awful platform

Absolutely awful platform - their customer service is non-existent. I was a Depop member for over 10 years, buying and selling. Suddenly my account was suspended for no reason at all. When I contacted them, they only send the same unhelpful copy and paste reply and refuse to help me. It’s mind boggling that they can do this, and looking at other reviews I’m not the only one this has happened to.They’ve now lost me as a buyer and a seller forever. Meanwhile, they still allow drop shippers selling mass produced rubbish and fake vintage items.Depop has been steadily going down hill and this is final nail in the coffin for me. I’ll never bother with Depop again.

This platform is rife with scammers

This platform is rife with scammers. I made a purchase after agreeing on a price with the seller, and made the payment. I received both a confirmation from depop and paypal that the payment was received. The item was listed as purchased under my account. The next morning the seller sends me an offer for the same item that i had purchased (on the same thread where we negotiated price nonetheless) I checked both the listing on depop and the seller’s page and found the item i purchased was never marked as sold. The seller never responded to my messages until i had to contact customer support. At that time i found out that it was “sold” and the item i purchased a fraudulent listing. Out of curiosity i checked back to see if that item was still listed and interestingly enough the sellers account comes up as “no longer on depop”. How convenient. Fortunately i was able to get my money back, and their customer support was helpful. My main complaint is that depop allows sellers to continue to list items that are already sold and sell them to multiple customers. Why are items “sold” but still listed as available? I have been using Poshmark and Ebay for years and have never had such issues. Depop needs to do better…My one and only experience with them was horrible. Never again.
