Review of expedia

Reservation not honored

I had made a reservation and paid for it, when I got there the resort said they did not work with Expedia and I had no reservation despite my confirmation info I had, so I had to find other accomodations. Called Expedia , I was told since I did not cancel the reservation I had to pay after a long discussion with a customer service rep who is trained not to listen to you I was finally told they would investigate but even if I got a refund I would owe a hundred dollars because the reservation wasn't honored, even though it wasn't me who dishonored it it was the resort, supposedly a manager will call me back as the rep would not connect me to a supervisor, then at the end of this call the rep asked me if I wanted to make a new reservation with him. WTH talk about a I don't give a f____ attitude. Warning Expedia is not a consumer friendly business

Review of dynadot

I know that negative reviews are sexier, but come'on, gimme a chance. Make yourself a cup of coffee

My first experience trying to flip domains was B-A-D.On [[[name redacted - "another company"]]] -- picked by me as a registrar based on their competitive pricing and clear UI, thinking to myself that "all registrars are the same; they just fill a simple and technical role" (oh, how little did I know...) -- I bought a bunch of domains too hot and too fast. I very quickly regretted it, but my refund request on "another company" was denied. What bothered me was not only the actual denial (which fair enough, they don't have to help me); but the overall attitude and empathy-lacking responses. Better yet, throughout our correspondence I kept hitting what appeared to be copy/paste answers. It was also insinuated that they think that I am not telling the truth. I was led firmly and promptly to understand that they just don't care. The representative was writing like someone that gets payed for answering emails, and he is going to get the same pay whether he's being kind or apathic. He's not working for the company, he's working for himself. I even confronted the representative head-on about it -- that it's fine to say NO, they're allowed to, but do me the courtesy of being respectful and fake a little compassion. Be a human. I swear that it's perfectly possible that even the reply email from them about copy/pasting was in fact copy/pasting.Now take that story and flip EVERYTHING with DynaDot.Shortly after "another company" happened, I unfortunately found myself again off-the-wagon on Dynadot. This time? The first sentence in their representative's reply was "I'm sorry you are going through this". Then, in no more than a day, I already had most of my money back in my Paypal account. This review is my way of saying THANK YOU. For listening, for having a better refund policy and sticking to it, and for going BEYOND it, because a policy is in the end just a piece of a paper. Real people deserve real treatment, in business and outside. In life in general I think that showing compassion is one of the traits that separate the good from the meh; the acceptable from the thriving; the successful and prosperous from the... let me stop here. Unfortunately, in this day and age, what would otherwise be considered a taken-for-granted and common courtesy, is a luxury item that should be thanked-for. So that's what I'm doing here.Other pro: UI is fair enough (though I don't care for some of the marketing tactics in the domain industry as a whole, and DynaDot is no different).Con: Slightly pricier on a per-domain basis. But I strongly suspect that on a more real level, Dynadot are in fact cheaper. Having such forgiving refund policy, that 99% of domain-enthusiasts are going to take advantage of in one point in time or another, wins you a lot more money from than what you'd save on that 2$ extra per domain. Besides the money, we as consumers and humans in general deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.Bottom line: Don't take my word for it, actually. Go to NamePros and check the poll about most recommended registrar according to the community. Hint: You're on their TrustPilot page right now.

Fast Response Time

The response time was spectacular. It usually takes a week to hear back from other vendors and Tom got back to me within minutes. FANTASTIC WORK and much appreciated. My business didn't skip a beat.

Review of depop

Very bad and disappointing experience, have been made feel like criminal...

Joined Depop recently hoping to sell unwanted clothes. Received an email one morning saying that my email address has been updated which I didn't. Tried to change password, was informed that my account was blocked. Contacted Customer Service and have been told by Cybil that " As you have failed to comply with our Terms of Service and failed to respect our Community Guidelines we feel that allowing you to remain active poses too much threat to the Depop Community and have therefore removed you from our platform. You will not be allowed to open further accounts on Depop. Please consider this decision final and unappealable."WHAT THE HECK??? My account has clearly been compromised and after I have asked for the reason why this happened, they just didn't bother to get back to me! REALLY??? Very very disappointing. Not a professional Customer Service at all. And don't worry, Depop, I WILL DEFINITELY NOT TRY AND OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH YOU EVER AGAIN. SCAMMERS!!!

Review of amazon

No complaint procedures

Amazon customer services are allowed to receive gifts from suppliers. So naturally the more gifts given, the more positive reviews. So one purchase products based on the wrong assumption because of the reviews read. Amazon customer services also deal with logistics, so if you have been a naughty customer 😉 moaning at them, your returns and deliveries might consequently suffer.Amazon customer services also deal with customer account and the app, so a naughty customer will be prevented to discuss problems.Amazon customer services can be made executive for the day, so if you dare emailing the managing director, your concerns will be read and if you insist, replied to by customer services made executive liaison for the day.The problem is simple, Amazon has no complaint procedures, no problem reference number one can follow.Amazon is not too big to fail and should be reminded that if they upset too many consumers they will restrict their profits.

Review of amazon

Reliable & Trustworthy

I love Amazon, it is so convenient to order stuff, and they are very reliable and professional. Once a shipment from China never arrived, and after contacting the seller three times and not receiving a response over several days, I escalated the issue to Amazon itself. Within three hours I had received a full refund! Talk about customer service! I will certainly continue to purchase online using Amazon. Edit: Another seller had used a misleading product description, and after not receiving a seller reply within two business days (again) I escalated the issue to Amazon and they are issuing my debit card with a refund. Fantastic service!

Review of uniqlo

Quick delivery/refund

Ordered from Uniqlo and 2 other well known fashion retailers on the same day. Uniqlo arrived first.Quality is good for the price and clothes look lovely. Some of the fabrics are a bit different to the pictures. Sent some stuff back to all of them on the same day and again Unqlo was first to return my money (by 2 weeks) without any problems. 1 star less because I wasn't aware that you have to pay for the returns yourself so depending on how much you send back it can be expensive.Would order again though.

Application is easy to use with great integration with MS Outlook and Teams. Searching and filtering through all the tickets is easy, there is only one functionality missing in filtering and that is the option to exclude condition for filtering.Knowledge base is excellent and very helpful.

Review of yelp

Beware Do not use this company

Beware! Do not use this company! They cannot meet their obligations and terms of agreement. The day of installation they sent one installer for a two man job, one piece of furniture still had to be moved (as we had moved the other furniture the day before installation) old padding and carpet had to be removed and hauled off, which was all included in the price. Carpet padding material was open and dirty. When our concerns were voiced they were met with disdain. The manager Bartt became defensive, rude and abruptly hung up on me mid conversation. Leaving us to deal with our home in disarray and finding a new company, as we had furniture that was already scheduled for delivery. We always do our best to support our local small businesses and our interactions with this company was disappointing.

Don't sign up for the trial unless you are prepared to subscribe. You have to call to cancel, which is not clearly communicated, and they won't offer you a refund even if you flag it when they take the first payment.

Gwendolyn Wendy Williamson is a horrid person

Gwendolyn Wendy Williamson is listed as a therapist on their site. She has harassment me on facebook for the past 2 month. I created a new profile and thought i blocked all of her fake profiles and then she attacks me from her business page. She is also very messy with her clients information. She sent me a snapshot of our messaging but at the bottom included the snapshots from her phone of her client Roseanne Rice's insurance card, her schedule with other clients and Wendy Passport information as well. I would not trust this person with my personal information.

Review of gog

Good old friend, GOG

GOG is one of those rare services that I use because I actually think it is good. The DRM free promise, the conservation of old titles, good seasonal discounts... I'm always looking forward to the next old classic that I will be able to play because GOG put the effort into porting it to modern systems. Keep up the good work!
