Review of clover
TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! Went with Clover after tele call. Once I realised we had been MISS-SOLD about monthly fee and commission-they are more expensive than so many companies out there- I tried to cancel the contract under a two week cool down. Apparently this specific law has changed since brexit - very sneaky. So after much complaining I spoke to someone from the complaints team and they said I could get out of the contract by just paying 100+VAT. Not ideal but fine. NOW they added back the 18 month finish contract fee. Clearly no communication within their team. They don’t even know the name of our business. Awful company -stay away. Absolute rip-off merchants.

Review of asos
ASOS Let Me DownI recently ordered an item from ASOS and returned it in the exact same condition I received it—unused and untouched. However, I was shocked to get an email rejecting my return, claiming the item was “used” when that simply wasn’t true.As a frequent customer, I expected better treatment. Instead, I was met with unfair accusations and a refusal to process my return. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a company I’ve supported disregard loyal customers like this.If this is how ASOS handles returns, I might have to rethink shopping with them in the future.
Review of amazon
Amazon is unlawfully withholding $29,795.96 from my business account since January 6, 2025. I provided all requested documentation, and now they refuse to respond, while also blocking access to our registered email. This is outrageous.”
Review of amazon
I've bought a bunch of stuff, and the reliability is moderate. What spurred me to write this review is a particularly disappointing incident where I bought a book and the order was cancelled without any sort of reason etc. This was a birthday gift for someone and the book was just never delivered, we waited and waited for it. Now the order just reads as "cancelled". I certainly never cancelled it! As far as I can tell I paid them for a book and they never got it to me.

Stealing my money refusing to acknowledge my return!Bought three items online. Wanted to return two, was turned away instore as they were bought online. I was told to use the returns portal. Downloaded a label, retuned to an EVRI parcel shop. Then nothing.I contavted customer service who said they 'need to investigate' in the meantime send my receipt. I did. Then they claim it isnt the correct receipt. WHAT???they keep saying this is not a valid recipt, but it is the only receipt the shop courier drop off shop gave me. How can this be, when their own tracking clearly shows it was dropped off. I have now spent three days, wasting my time e mailing them, contacing my bank, going back to the parcel shop. AWFUL behaviour, please stop stealing from your customers!I am absolutely appalled at the awful customer service!!!

Review of discogs
Discogs has gone from great (pre-Brexit) to very expensive (double VAT on imports from Europe) and now, post 'improvements', it is almost unusable. It is painfully slow, crashes regularly and, to be honest, it is time for someone to develop a competitor.Such a shame
Review of uber
ON 18th March 2025, I ordered an UBER for a 15 minute Journey to my home address. I have repeated this journey on a number of occasions with UBER. My residence gate is on one road and the bottom of my garden is on another. To get to my gate via car can be through windy narrow lanes, depending which way it is approached. If the weather is good, I will get out of the UBER at the bottom of my garden to save them time and having to negotiate the lanes. All UBER drivers to date have appreciated this. Especially as they are pre paid for the slightly longer journey. But the lady driver on the 18th didn’t like it and accused me of not allowing her to follow the sat nav. She consequently changed my trip activity to a 40 minute journey and charged me triple the original amount. I complained to UBER about the incorrect trip activity recorded on my account and the fraudulent invoice by using the HELP section on their App. Despite saying they would look into it and provide feedback, they haven’t. I have sent daily messages requesting the feedback they stated they would give me. I was under the belief that UBER could track the journey so would be able to see my trip. I have not to this date received any feedback and the incorrect trip fare has been taken from my account. This has made me feel very uneasy about using UBER or recommending them in the future.
Review of temu
Of course, line the rest of us, spinning that Always ends on the max, indicating Inhave 3 free items. Spin again and in the end, nothing is free, and I ended up spending over $130 for a wagon. This is a very scammy site and Inhave never obtained any discount or free items as they allege to offer
Review of temu
Don't use Temu. I have had faulty goods, cancelled orders and lost orders. Most items are cheap and returning faulty items is more hassle than they are worth. The customer service is also atrocious. Stick to AliExpress for better quality goods of Wish for cheaper items and better quality customer service. But stay away from Temu.

Review of co
"I see here that you have been a customer for...wow...24 years! Thank you for your loyalty"What a patronising smack in the face that line comes across as when customer service treats you as though you've been a customer for 24 minutes. In trying to get to the bottom of a "policy violation" it became abundantly clear that the team in charge had no clue about their own policy. A challenge is met with condescension and strawman arguments. A call back, when promised, is made once and never again if the phone is not picked up in time. Appeals and resolutions are opaque in their machinations when (or rather if) they are followed through to a conclusion. There is a lot wrong with eBay these days and management doesn't seem to care. From AI chatbots and unthinking automotons proclaiming to be human to exorbitant fees and witholding of payment (and what exactly does eBay do with your money whilst it's waiting for delivery of your sold item?).What a shame as the idea was, is and always will be sound. Who would have thought that separating from PayPal would sound the death knell for this once great ecommerce behemoth. If you can't move with the times, you get left behind. I, for one, look forward to the day the stinking, rotting carcass of this decrepit company is a distant memory.
Review of doordash
(order #38606704)My husband and I were at the hospital with our sick kid.I ordered a meal through Doordash and used the LTHCNS code. The code wasn't applied, and I was charged full price.I contacted Doordash through my husband's Doordash account. I informed them that I used code LTHCNS. I was advised that I couldn't use that code because it wasn't attached to my husband's account, and the information differed. Then, I was informed that my information was the same as my husband's. Then, I was informed that the code was only available in-store.I requested a copy of the transcript from the agent. Of course, they couldn't provide one, but we made screenshots. The agent was rude.
Review of zoom
I am not surprised that Zoom’s overall rating is low.The tech support is a joke. You cannot talk to a live technician unless you have the highest level of an account. What you get is a series of back and forth emails from someone in a time zone on the opposite side of the world, who expresses sympathy for your problem, tells you to feel free to reach out to Zoom, sends a few “ helpful “ articles and wishes you a nice day. An extremely frustrating and time wasting experience. When I insisted that I speak on the phone to a supervisor, I was told to send 3 possible times and telephone numbers- I did this twice with no results. I can’t believe that Zoom has not changed their support paradigm. Don’t bother wasting your time.

Review of abebooks
I've been searching for a place where I can buy rare books online and AbeBooks seemed like the perfect answer. While the selection is wide and the sellers seem promising the actual experience is a different story. Yes, I found the book I wanted but it arrived weeks late and in worse condition than listed. Communication was barely there. There was not much help from customer service. Unfortunately, the inconsistency from seller to seller makes the whole thing feel more like a gamble than a guarantee.
