Each time, I am greeted with a stunning array of pastries that seem to beckon me to indulge. I recently tried their chocolate eclair, and I can confidently say it was the best I’ve ever had. Horrendous customer service. We’re charged €344 for a car hire that we didn’t get. The car hire company told us to contact booking to get the refund but it has been impossible and was cut off a number of times after being half an hour on phone being transferred to different lines. No replies to emails either and no live chat.

My old thermostat lasted 20 years and nothing went wrong with it. Google's Nest Learning Thermostat has finally expired after 2.5 years. And it cost an awful lot more.It started a couple of months ago with the wifi connection failing - seems that was a fault in the unit. Then there were sequences of it not connecting to the boiler and now, it just plain doesn't work - if I connect it to the baseplate it won't charge, if I disconnect it from the baseplate to charge it doesn't work. First Google product and will probably be my last. Really disappointing.

There is no purpose to having this. You can’t stream any NBA or NFL. Any teams in your area will also be blacked out due to licensing. You also have to have special packages for most college sports. So really all you get is the full 30 for 30 library.

Not a safe place to shop! Buyer beware!! 2 expensive items were incorrect and they refuse to assist me. They allow scammers on their sight and do not protect the customers. They Did not honour their 30 day return policy. Offered refund after a fight but provided incorrect address then left me out in the cold with no refund or item now. Item missing and no one will help me. I’m out $180.00 Scam!!! Wish won’t own up to their mistake or help with merchants mistake and won’t respond to me. Expensive items are a one way ticket. The National Trust has now become a national disgrace. I am one of those members (along with my son) who has cancelled their memberships because of the trusts casual attitude to its members, volunteers and staff. Just who is benefiting from the Trust at present? Its senior staff seem to be doing just fine and making sure that their bloated salaries and benefits remain secure while sacking staff members. If the National Trust wants to make itself more appealing to younger people or a more diverse membership then it's needs to shed the old crusty layers of management. Let's start with Tim Parker. He left a massive mess at the Post Office (as many former ruined postmasters will attest) and now he is helping to create a bigger mess here.

Like many of the reviewers here, I was also confused into paying for an expensive subscription, thinking it was part of their 'free trial' offer. When I complained I was told their T&Cs meant I couldn't get my money back, even though it is a consumer right. I have emailed them twice since their refusal and heard nothing back. edit #2: They have finally resolved the situation and refunded the subscription amount (thank you) so I have adjusted the rating. I'm sure their music scores are fine, but not sure about how they manage customers :)edit #1: I have replied to them (twice) since they said to email them in response to this review and have heard nothing back.

I've been searching for a place where I can buy rare books online and AbeBooks seemed like the perfect answer. While the selection is wide and the sellers seem promising the actual experience is a different story. Yes, I found the book I wanted but it arrived weeks late and in worse condition than listed. Communication was barely there. There was not much help from customer service. Unfortunately, the inconsistency from seller to seller makes the whole thing feel more like a gamble than a guarantee.
