Jeff Bezos created a great company in Amazon, despite playing its part in destroying the high street. But time to get off the golf course. Amazon slipping badly. The failings too long for a review, but customer service is at the route and entirely non-existent. If get through, they simply can't help in even the simplest of tasks, like amending day of delivery which is supposedly easy to do online. Goods are often left in the street waiting to be stolen or soaked in rain. You may be in, but couriers arms cant seem to reach the doorbell or leave a card when order dumped outside. Amazon Prime, dont waste your time unless truly need it. I'll be cancelling mine. Trouble is, not sure what we would do without Amazon for ease of choice, but look about and many companies work so very much better.

I had a very bad experience with Academia.edu which insulted my personality, violated my human rights, and harmed my reputation.I logged in my account last Sunday to reply to a message I received from a member. Then, I realized that I had difficulties to log in. After some attempts and using my social media login, I saw a message on my dashboard that my account was frozen because it had been flagged as suspicious.It looked very odd but I followed the instructions and submitted all required information.Unfortunately, it was Sunday and obviously, a manual review could not be done quickly,Next, I tried to see my profile-website because I was and I had paid a premium subscription and I saw that I was unable to download even my own documents.My problem with this situation is as follows:1. In democracies, we are all innocents until someone or an authority proves that we guilty. They froze my account without giving any explanation and without giving me the opportunity to support myself. They just adopted a flag and froze my account until I prove my innocence!2. Freezing my account, I had no access to my document and my high rating was not visible.3. A flagged account as suspicious harmed my personality and my reputation as well as my human rights.4. Once they examine or believe that I my account is suspicious, why do they accept my money for the premium subscription?I wrote all of the above to Academia.edu but I have not received a response yet. Actually, I was so sorry for this development and the fact that they like my money but they are not sure about my credibility, and I decided to delete my account on Sunday night or Monday. I left a message with the above also.The account deleted but no response yet.They do not care!And one more thing: I respect their policy and I support all measures aiming at securing reliability and safety. But their policy is just ridiculous. Why? Anyone can flag an account as suspicious. Imagine a member to flag the half accounts. Then, the half academia.edu will be frozen (?)I think that this not an intelligent, secure, efficient and proactive policy.It is rather an anti-democratic practice that shows the lack of modern security systems and policies.Also, I wrote to Academia.edu that I have provided all required information for their check and the fact that I am an MBA student and a research manager in London and Zurich.Note that I was in the top 0.5% of the researchers at academia.edu.Lastly, another sign of their culture is that there is not an obvious link (menu) to contact them. I believe that it is the minimum for transparency and credibility of a website. Instead, they have a support menu. You have to enter a question such as "contact". We were billed a full year when we started with Hootsuite after the initial trial. we were not happy with it at all a few months down the line. too many glitches and the scheduling was inaccurate on a weekly basis, we decided to cancel our subscription. this was basically impossible through the application and on the desktop very hard to find. we finally found it and deactivated the autorenewal. this kept flipping back to autorenew we ended up emailing our wish to cancel the program, and calling them (they are not easy to get hold of), and their "messaging help centre is a robot, no humans there? months down the line (and not using the program for over 4 months) and we have been billed again, £561. this morning this is a disgrace, i want a refund but nobody can be found to get one! ive now opened a case via paypal. STAY AWAY, TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, AND THEY JUST KEEP ON BILLING YOU WHETHER YOU HAVE CANCELLED OR NOT

I have been taking the WSJ for years now and have never had a problem with delivery. In fact, my "paper boy" gave me his cell phone number and a couple of times I have gone on a trip and didn't put my paper on hold. I have called him and he paused it while I was gone.

Have never really had any problems with customer service and over all everything works well.The only issue i could say i have is the time i tried downloading an old game that i had digitally (no disc).I've owned it since August 8 - 2016 but stopped playing after a few years. When i finally decided to download it again a few weeks back the game was gone from my library and in store it told me i had to pay for it again, pretty weird when i have collected trophies and all are spaced out with over months between the first and last earned trophie.After contacting Playstation support i get told that they can't see that i've ever owned the game and that i need to send them a print of my receipt (from over 6 years ago) i told them that i've changed email since then and that my former bank don't have that old information saved.All i'm left with at the end is an apology and the information that i have to buy the game once again, just to play. I have not bought it again yet and this is the only issue i've had.Ps:Buy your games on disc or save the receipts (email receipt)

I have a corporate card, and even then they don't want to act right. They definitely won't act right for a personal card.My card was charged in error and I have written proof from the vendor that they intended to refund, and I STILL can't get American Express to investigate. They told me they "opened" a dispute, and months later there is no record of it. I reopened one again and it's still not on their site. I have screenshots of all the communication where they lied but I can't upload to this site. My advice is to save yourself the headache and pick a different institution.
