Extremely Disappointed with the Lack of Support

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the way my recent issue has been handled. Although I booked the property through Booking.com, paid in full, stayed at the hotel, and provided all the necessary documentation multiple times (including proof of payment and screenshots of my conversation with the property owner), it’s clear that there’s little to no concern for resolving customer issues.As a loyal customer, it’s disheartening to see that property owners can seemingly act without accountability, while I’m left without any support or recourse. It raises the question: if reviews can be left and bookings canceled after a stay, what protection do guests really have?Perhaps it’s time to consider other platforms that truly prioritize their customers and take responsibility when issues arise.

Review of bestwestern

TWO (Owego and Chesapeake Bay) Best Westerns in one weekend…

Did some college visits this weekend so we stayed at two Best Westerns - Oswego, NY and Chesapeake Bay North, MD - the experiences were very different but yielded the same score.The BW in Owego was totally outdated, dingy and just all around low end BUT the staff was awesome and friendly, the sheets were super clean and nice, and the coffee was pretty decent. The BW Chesapeake Bay was definitely upgraded and more modern but there were annoying things about this hotel. In the room, the pillows were like little hard squares, the bedspread was rough, and the lamp by the bed must not have been plugged in, which was a problem for a light source as well as a charger next to the bed; nearest outlet was across the room. The shower was a little moldy (not sure granite is a good choice for shower walls, but…), the curtain didn’t hold the water in, the towels were not the freshest, and if you are going to spackle a wall, maybe paint it afterwards. Breakfast at both hotels were very basic; the BW Chesapeake Bay had clementines and English muffins, but was basically in the lobby. The coffee at CB was literally water- undrinkable - and the milk ran out of the machine by 7am, which means it wasn’t freshly filled that day. The staff at the front desk didn’t seem to want to be bothered with any of it, and instructed us to use the half empty room temperature milk for cereal for the coffee.All in all, I would NOT stay at BW Owego again unless they upgraded a lot (but again, great staff and good coffee!), and I would stay at Chesapeake Bay if I HAD to but it would NOT be my first choice…and I would go out to get coffee, for sure. Not overly impressed with the Best Western Brand overall and although some of them offer large updated rooms, it seems like you never know what you’re going to get with this two star, inconsistent chain of hotels.

THIS MAY BE AN AUTHORED DEALER BUT AT&T HAS THE WORST SERVICE. I JOINED MY HUSBAND PLAN SO WE CAN SAVE AND IT HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE. MY DAUGHTER IS IN COLLEGE AND HER SERVICE IS NO GOOD UNLESS CONNECTED TO THE WIFI. MINE PHONE SERVICE DOESN'T EVEN WORK WHEN I GO OUT OF TOWN. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. this company is an absolute disgrace. 29 hours later still no cell service. 5 hours trying to get a straight answer and still didnt get one. it is 2025. nowhere in america should anyone have spotty or no service at all. they need to do society a favor and close down. 2o years with verizon with zero problems 3 months with this disaster company and no service. there is a reason they have 45,000 complaints do NOT use this company for anything

Staggering lego ineptitude

If you can find the same Lego item on Amazon buy it from there. The Lego delivery system is staggeringly inept, as are Lego.The dpd driver pulled up in front of my house while I was looking at the van through the window and he was on cctv. He didn’t get out of the van but I received a message saying the parcel couldn’t be delivered as there was no one at home. A lie. I had even said to leave it in the porch if I was out.DPD then said it was at the local post office so I went there every day with the tracking number and qr code and it hadn’t been delivered there. I then got a message saying it had been returned to the Lego shop.During all this I emailed Lego asking what is going on and didn’t receive a single reply.It missed my daughter’s birthday even though I ordered it three weeks beforehand.They should have their card banking facility withdrawn as they do not demonstrate adequate responsibility as an online retailer.

Do not buy - shady and can’t stop billing

We had one purchase three years ago, Chegg continued to charge after we cancelled. We had to go to credit card to stop payment because we couldn’t get any response from Chegg. The credit card company blocked Chegg for 15 months. Chegg resubmitted charges again after that period and we have had to go back to credit card to stop payment. DO NOT buy from them.

I bought an iMac computer from Best Buy…

I bought an iMac computer from Best Buy and was misled by calling the phone number listed for a store and not told that I was talking to an online agent. He lied to me that there are hardly any agents in the stores and that I would be better off buying over the phone. I was given misleading information about the computer and thought the agent was lacking in his knowledge of the product. My computer had died and I needed a computer quick, so I made the purchase. I was told to pay over the phone even though I was picking up the computer in 1 hour and that the store would have the receipt. The store had no receipt and said that they could not print one because the sale was from the online store. The computer did not come with a thunderbolt plug in charging cord for the Magic Mouse and keyboard, and I talked for over an hour with 2 agents trying to identify the plugin ends on the cord but no one had a clue what they were. I had to go to the Hurst, TX store again where Jeff and his manager not only apologized but went to the shelf immediately and gave me the correct cord. Jeff then found adapters for me to adapt the thunderbolt end to USB A plugin for some of my older equipment. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy from the online store, but I cannot recommend the Hurst, TX store any HIGHER! They were outstanding!

Unsafe site. Your card will be used fraudulently

Unsafe site. I accidentally and, briefly, saved my payment card details on the payment page which they claim is safe. There was then a flurry of fraudulent transactions which, luckily, the security on my card prevented from going through. This site is horrendously unsafe and lays you immediately open to fraud. Avoid at all costs.

Sandals Negril

We recently stayed at Sandals, Negril from 7/15-7/19/21. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. It is truly paradise. I would like to give praise to the entire staff for an exceptional job well done. Very special thanks to Kendra, Angelica, Jamal, Dana, Paul. There are so many people that I would love to give my thanks to but I can’t remember their names. But the above employees made my stay very memorable n enjoyable n are definite assets to the company. But on an overall everyone was very pleasant n the friendliest I ever met. God bless everyone n we’re definitely coming back! I really give this resort 10 plus stars.
