Brown Paper Tickets is a scam company. The management here is evil and greedy, and this company basically just scams its clients by never paying us anything it owes. It's very difficult to reach out to the company's leadership, and the rare times that we're able to do so just proved to be a waste of time because the management doesn't resolve the issues. AVOID!

05/2024 We recently received a low star rating, which of course YELP has displayed, but we are not able to respond unless we sign up. This truly is extortion and kidnapping of a company's reputation. 01/2024 Yelp has a habit of hiding a companies good reviews and keeping a company's star ratings down. The company I work for has NEVER paid or solicited reviews from our customers. YELP keeps hiding our 5 star reviews, saying that their algorithm is the best for deciding what reviews to allow. I do not have this issue on any other review sites where we are located. I do not know if advertising more with them would improve our ratings, but we are not going to pay YELP for our stars. YELP cannot be relied on for a true picture of a company. My date of experience is actually more like 2023

My dad and I worked with a company in the Duke Edmonton Alberta just outside in Leduc. It was in Leduc. Sorry it’s called quality flooring. The customer service we got in the beginning. I say was very good efficient. We went to other stores cause I wanted to decide on a different wood sample that they didn’t have because we did look at their wood samples, but there’s lots of black marks and lines and I found a sample at different stores and we tried our best to go back to Ladue and honour the small business and make sure they got first dibs on our order, what went on and the procedures after that at the store were horrific. I was blatantly lied to my dad was lied to. They actually sent to the company that the management company that owns my building or condos they have to approve the new floor and putting in the wood floor slipped in the package, a different colour and a different type of wood. Nothing that I ordered. Nothing that I wanted even though my dad brought in the sample from another store with the full name on it he lied and said my dad didn’t bring that into him he never wrote anything down and he went ahead and was putting this order through. I caught it thank God when my dad asked me to review the package decor to make sure everything was there and I saw a picture of this red oak and I wanted white oak natural XL and then he starts lying to me that the XL has lots of black dots and lines. I said actually the picture you gave me of the red Oak has says right here. It has black dots right beside it. Then he went behind my back this man and emailed my dad on the three days I gave him to come up with. Yes I can get the white Oak for you. He ordered the red oak with black dots in it and then he told me about two other woods that were better than that one from his store then he had the nerve to phone me back. When I said to him we’re gonna go with another wood store. I’ve given you three days actually three months and three days to weed land an effort to drive out to Leduc, three or four times wasted gas. This man had no intention of ordering what we wanted. He wanted to slip in his ideas and his stuff because we couldn’t get it then he’s telling me that my excel level of white oak actually has black marks and lines. Well it doesn’t. I’ve seen the entire floor and view because this company shows you the entire floor. That’s a good thing to do to check. Ask them to show you not just this wood sample that they have but the entire floor on the computer you get a better idea. Let me tell you some of the wood doesn’t come with the knots in them or the lines of black and it’ll show up on the whole floor put in so I mean I can’t say about flooring. They’re the best but I would never ever send anybody to quality flooring in Leduc. I’m sorry they were kind people. His son was wonderful but this person Graham that runs place absolutely horrific horrifying and I was I took the high road on the phone calls? I didn’t judge him. I didn’t blame him. I didn’t call him a liar. I could’ve said so many things and my dad was so upset. He wanted to get his lawyer involved and said dad take the high road woo the last part I wanna send with you and share with you company once we I listen to those horrific phone calls. He knew we were going to another company. He actually went behind my back and emailed my father and said I think we can get the white oak, I mean I said it was this man out of his mind how he treated me and my dad more than how he treated us and then when I finalize on the phone we’re going with another company. He’s the nerve to email my father. I mean, I can’t believe he went as far as our management company slipping them to a different wood and the specifics of a different wood. He was gonna say you’re stuck if they ordered that would they say your management company said it prove that wood and that’s the wood you ordered he would and we went out $10,000 or more with this ugly ugly wood and I’d have it ripped out and redone anyway, but it would cost me 20 grand so please nobody go there. Nobody go to us the Duke store quality flooring. It’s absolutely horrific and it’s a small business they don’t get the better lines the top-of-the-line stuff so go to absolute flooring you’ll see you’ll notice the difference on 99th St. and that’s all I have to say so I hope somebody reads this and somebody understands that , I’m being genuine here

I have send the right controller for a RMA, two weeks have passed (they told me it would take 2-3 bussines days), they say "don't contact us, because every contact you make, it delays further the resolution". I suppose I paid the whole price for a product is going to be obsolet in two months and I haven't been able to even enjoy it. Thx Oculus/Facebook. I think this is close to a scam.

A glitch in the fandango app defaulted my tickets to the wrong theatre even though i selected the right theatre. In the fandango app, I selected my cinema of choice. Purchased tickets for showtime 10:15pm. Was in line at 10:05pm and the teller tried scanning, but would not work. After some further research he told me the tickets were for another cinema and that I would have to contact fandango for a refund. I purchased tickets there so I catch the show and at the same time called Fandango. I was on hold for a long time all the way up until the actual movie started and never got to exchange. I figured i would call the next day and get an exchange, but their policy is that if the show time passes you cannot exchange or refund. After over 2 hours with phone calls and chats and after escalating to a manager, Fandango refused to supply me with 2 new tickets. They were very rude and told me it was a user error and that I must have selected the wrong theatre. However, i'm very tech savy and I know for a fact I selected the correct theatre at Salisbury Regal Cinema stadium 16 in Maryland. Yet the tickets were for a cinema in dover delaware a whole other state. I gave them a final chance to make good on this before i start sharing this negative experience through reviews and also put a complaint in with the Better Business Bureau, but still they refused to make good on this terrible experience. You are better off ordering tickets directly from the theatre and save yourself money from paying them convenience fees.Everyone should file a Better Business Complaint and review as I did. Trustpilot won't allow me to link you so simply do a google search for Fandango LLC BBB and it's usually the first link to get their BBB page. From there you can submit complaint and then submit of review. Make sure you do both. I even went as far as filing a complaint with Department of Justice and Attorney General of Los Angeles.

As with countless other reviewers, I submitted my order on Nov 29th and it still hasn’t been shipped. Their customer service number didn’t connect at all. I waited to chat with a customer rep on the site (number 51 in line!). They told me no problem to cancel the order and return my money. I then asked for confirmation of the return being processed via e-mail, the rep said “no actually, you can’t have a refund until you receive your order and then send it back, it will be there by the 25th” I was in the process of typing my response to this (it’s not helpful if the order shows up on Christmas Day or a few days before! I won’t be home, the plan was to bring the wrapped gift with me), and the rep disconnected from the chat before I could respond. Considering how awful the customer service is, I feel I was very respectful in expressing my dissatisfaction and it was uncalled for to end the chat so abruptly. I will never order from this company again and will tell anyone I know about this experience. I suspect I will never see the crocs I ordered but I guess time will tell.

What a rubbish app. We have one of best broadband services available and getting nothing but freezing, buffering and rubbish poor connection warnings. This only happens with All4, never on anything else. Finally gave up last night after months of struggling to watch a series.
