I’ve been a loyal customer of this booking.com for years — long enough to have earned their so-called Level 3 Genius status. Over time, I trusted them with numerous bookings, recommending the platform to friends and family alike. But when it truly mattered — for my honeymoon — they failed me in the most appalling way imaginable.Weeks ahead of our trip, I booked a hotel in Hurghada, Egypt via their platform through one of their “trusted” third-party Restel S.A. (partner). Given the importance of this trip, I proactively reached out to both the booking.com and the Restel S.A. several times. Each time, I was met with vague assurances and, frankly, a tone that made me feel like a nuisance for asking for simple reconfirmation.I even went so far as to contact the hotel directly — at my own expense — only to be told they had no record of any booking in my name. Despite raising this red flag days before we were due to arrive, the booking.com repeatedly insisted everything was confirmed.Then, in a move that can only be described as utterly disgraceful, they cancelled the booking via email the night before our scheduled check-in. No apology. No explanation. No rebooking support. We were left scrambling to find last-minute accommodation during what should have been a relaxing and joyful trip.This wasn’t just poor customer service — it was a complete abandonment of responsibility. What’s worse is how blasé they were about it, as if ruining someone’s honeymoon is a minor inconvenience.I’m sharing this as a caution to others: this booking.com has become a bloated, money-grabbing monopoly that no longer values its customers, no matter how long you've been with them or how important your booking is. I urge others to reconsider using this platform — especially for anything remotely important. They are happy to take your money, but when things go wrong, you’re on your own.Absolutely shambolic. Avoid at all costs.

It is spamming now, pure and simple.Academia.edu is not respecting the notification choices of their customer base - and they are also breaking UK law by doing this!

Bought house with nest thermostat 2 yrs ago. It did NOT keep the temps according to what was programmed. Was always a pain and had to adjust constantly! Now it finally broke down- only three yrs old. Good riddance. Even our HVAC tech said they have a lot of problems with the nest. Back to Honeywell thermostat ( had on last house.) They know AC’s and work great!Google stick to search engines, because even that isn’t as good as it used to be!

I've been using Adobe's apps since film school, but now I've drawn the line. I'm done with their services. Despite being cautious, I still got caught in their subscription trap and ended up on an annual plan instead of a monthly one, facing hefty cancellation fees. When I reached out for help, I had to deal with a remote assistant, which was also a nightmare.There are better video editing alternatives out there like Resolve, and new tools are emerging that could rival Photoshop and After Effects. I want nothing to do with Adobe or their predatory practices toward consumers anymore. It's a free market, and we do have a choice. Better alternatives are starting to emerge.

Very bad experience. I ordered phone and I paid full money. They promised to deliver by 16th May 2018. And next day I was checking without delivering product they have updated that product has been delivered. After that keep on calling them no proper response, simply keeping phone on hold, they just want to make money through cheating people like this. Whilst 𝕏 has improved significantly with regards to political bias, many problems remain unresolved. Accounts are suspended without proper explanation, and appeals are completely ignored. Support is virtually non-existent. There are far too many tedious ads. Accounts can be suspended without warning over nonsensical issues like date of birth.

We have just returned from the Harlequin b&b with parking.in Weymouth What a wonderful guest house this is,it's very covid aware and the landlord Mike such a helpful chap I am disabled and our room on the ground floor with a walk in shower equipped with grab bars slip mat shower chair. Our room had a private decked patio along with table and chairs also the room had a smart TV with Netflix prime video just to much more to mention. Looking forward to our already booked holiday next year. Once again a BIG thank you Mike and his highly recommended

Thomann basically stole my money. I ordered an item from Thomann in good faith that the item will be delivered to me. The item was shipped via their courier DHL 2 days later, DHL refused to deliver the item for whatever reason. I contacted Thomann and was advised that they will process it as soon as DHL returns the item to them. It has now been 11 days where they keep claiming that they are still waiting for DHL to return the item and that I have to wait. This should not be my problem, the item was never in my possession. Why should I be punished and sit without my item and my money. This was a transaction between Thomann and DHL and has nothing to do with me. I demand that they refund my money but they are just hiding behind their POLICY, which only suits them. I will NEVER buy another item from Thomann.

We have stopped shopping at Krogers. Been shopping at Krogers back to 1985. To us it is another Winn Dixie with tax payer prop-up and customers no longer a factor. Oh well, J M Fields, Wool Co, KMart, Sears, Montgomery Wards, and the many more big companies that slid will soon have to make room for a new addition to their ranks.
