Arrived at our destination un-clear if pre paid 4 day stay was paid for. Had to wait til last day to find out that our stay was paid for. But Hotel.com collected $500.00 over in commissions. Our bill would have been 1800.00 through the original hotel instead of 2300.00 hotel .com. I’m writing a review to let you know go to you regular hotel web sight to book your stay. And stay away from hotel.com. You shouldn’t have to worry about your hotel bill on vacation. And then find out that you been overcharged in the process. I would have given them a 0 star if I could, what did they do to get $500.00 more. Nothing.

(Often)They have this terrible ai system that wants to play 100 questions before you can get any real help!!!They will sell your info to marketing companies and fill your physical mail box with pre approved financing offers. They don’t listen to your concerns. They just play along to get you off the phone… they do not care about providing a good service. They just nod along until you hang up. (Absolutely worthless)!FreshBooks is absolutely terrible. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

I recently got to a 700 day streak on Duo, so I can review with a good deal of experience!Duolingo really misses the great fundamental of language learning - speaking with feedback and 2-way conversation.Most of the exercises can be completed with process of elimination and is more of an exercise in common sense than language ability. After 700 days straight my knowledge of Italian is remedial at best. I have a lot of Italian friends who can confirm this.I regret recommending this app to my students in my English teaching days although this was a number of years ago when there was not much available as alternatives.These days there are apps with AI who will have conversations with you and that's the real way to go. There's no real sense of error correction on the app, the words are normally always there on the screen so you don't really learn new words - you just learn how to order things which really isn't language learning - more like language Lego.After 700 days straight I'm cancelling my sub and moving on to something else. The gamification kept me going but really it's quite pointless.

Same for me, as other reviewers, about Nine Perfect Strangers. Firstly, after about 4 episodes they change the screening day from Wednesday to Monday and time from a normal 9pm to a much later 11.15pm. Now the final episode cannot be played on the app- its like it's not been downloaded properly. Please sort it out Channel 4.

Service is one of the worst that I have ever experienced! We have been told to have our internet connection in 3 days however we are waiting for more than 2 months!!! We have no internet but we are paying this is unbelievable!!

My experience with Gumroad has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. I invested a significant amount of time adding 45 of my hard-earned ebooks to their platform, only to have my account suspended without any valid reason. When I reached out to their customer support for an explanation, I was met with an extremely rude response, accusing me of not writing my own books – an absurd claim that couldn't be further from the truth.To make matters worse, any further attempts to seek assistance were met with silence as my communication with their support team was abruptly cut off. It's disheartening to see a platform that claims to support creators treat them with such disrespect and disregard.As a result of this unprofessional behavior, I have made the decision to move all my books to a different platform, one that values and respects its creators. Gumroad has lost my trust and confidence, and I strongly advise others to reconsider using their services if they value their time and hard work.

Great products overall.On a side note, If you are thinking of purchasing, your products may not get released to you until they verify your payment manually. May not be ideal if you have an urgent need for a solution they offer like I did. It is in their T&C's but i think the legitimate customer puchasing experience should be paramount. It should be more important vs the desire to prevent (the no doubt minority of) bad actors. I assume you have control to withdraw licences from dodgy purchasers? If this is the case, then surely it follows to allow the immediate release of all licences, and then withdraw the bad ones later, than to try and stop the bad actors at the expense of the legitimate purchasers. Seems back to front. Had I not needed something you provide, I would have cancelled out of principle.

I ordered Sapphire Olive Eggers and received what I believe to be regular Olive Eggers. After receiving the wrong chicks, I messaged TSC asking for a price adjustment to reflect the chicks I actually received. I received a response within 24 hrs letting me know that it's up to Hoover's to adjust my price and asked for pictures to help them better communicate the error with the hatchery. I sent them and waited for a response. After not receiving any, I emailed again and waited for a response. Still none. I didn't ask for a full refund even though I received the wrong order. I don't think I asked too much for it to be made right by reimbursing the difference.After submitting this exact review they rejected it saying it goes against their standards.

Today, I wasted four long hours on chat with Telstra: "Get help," trying to fix a webmail problem. I was timed out at least five times, and getting back on again was anything but easy. After nearly three and a half hours of getting nowhere, I received this message: "I appreciate your patience, Peter. I have escalated this issue to level2 team, the team will work on it and get back to you with updates. Kindly request you to wait for 24 - 48 hours to get an update from the team." They're going to take 48 hours and yet they use the word "escalated" ... it must be the slowest escalation in history. I didn't think any company could be more inefficient than Qantas, but Telstra is far worse. If you are thinking of using Telstra, don't! The old saying, "the devil you know is better than the devil you don't," doesn't apply to Telstra ... Optus or TPG couldn't be worse. With Telstra, you're at the bottom of the barrel, and any other provider has to be better.
