NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! Having purchased tickets for a cooking course through them, the event organiser cancelled the event without contacting myself on two occasions, both times prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. Contacted the organiser requesting a refund in March with no reply (obviously). Really hacked off at this point so complained to Eventbrite, what a joke, explained the situation and coupled with COVID-19 I was not prepared to wait for another date for it to be cancelled again, reply when I requested the refund they stated the reason for declining my request didn't meet their criteria:-The event was cancelled (it was twice with no planned future date)-You purchased the ticket before 15th March (purchased Dec 2019)-Even scheduled between 15/03-15/05 (there is no scheduled date)-Event organiser has not indicated they are offering an alternate form of accommodation (the organiser wont correspond with me, so no event and no planned date)In summary, this company is a total con, never use them. There is no way to complain about Eventbrite, once they take your money your on your own, simple as that.Submitted my experience on all forms of social media to spread the word and hope other people aren't ripped off like I and seemingly lots of other people on here have been

They completely ripped us. Our holiday with kids was ruined. We complaint and till date not resolved. No action taken against the hotel we complained about. Disgraceful Disgraceful Disgraceful. Please don't go with them. when you are in trouble they don't help you. I went on a holiday to bali with kids, and I still want to cry thinking about what we had to go through. Booking.com is not trustworthy. It's only good until something does not go wrong. Please use other platform. I am furious that the hotel we complained is still operating as per normal and they won't let us write a review. So many more people will become victims like us and they don't care. Shame on BookingCom

AT&T cut my internet line when they connected my new neighbor’s service. Instead of fixing the line, the service guy left it. I had to take a day off of work for them to come back out and reconnect the service. The service guy said they would bury the line within 10 business days. It has been a month. AT&T caused the problem and still has not finished the work. AT&T should do better! Poor Service!

I bought my 65 inch flat screen back in February. That following June just four months after purchase the backlight goes out. It's been hell trying to go through customer service. I submitted all requested photos. Including my online receipt from Bj's. They reject my receipt stating it didn't have the address of the Bj's I purchased from. I call customer service and speak to rude foreigners that speak over you and hung up on me twice. I call back a third time and she tells me "oh just take a screenshot of your desktop showing you're on Bj's website and wait another 5-7 business days for us to review. In the meantime I've been without a television for 2 weeks. And who knows how long before I'll get a replacement. Philips customer service is a joke. I regret ever purchasing this television. I'll be sticking to my other top 3 brands. Never again.

I purchased my Dell laptop and a mcAfee antivirus subscription was provided free with the laptop. Everything was okay until the free subscription ended. After that when I purchased a 2 years new subscription for my pc, the antivirus was not working properly and then it totally stopped working and my pc was totally vulnerable, and when I asked them for refund they said that they will try to repair the program but they couldn't. They said that they will refund and asked for card details and SWIFT code. After providing all the information and account details, now it has been a month I didn't got a penny from them.

The last time I felt this negatively about something was when my car was broken into - given how the last year or so has been, that should give you all the info you need, but if you want details, please read on. Booked a visit for my family to the Weir Garden, just outside of Hereford. Searched on Google and connected directly to the Weir Garden's webpage. Went through the process to purchase online, which took me to Eventbrite. Noted that it said no refunds, which was fine at the time. Later in the week, I realised I'd double-booked so attempted to move my booking by 1 hour. First attempt to do this was two days before the booking, using the link on the booking confirmation to contact the event organiser. No response. The following day I tried the number provided on the booking confirmation (an 01981 number). Did this several times, tried a number of the automated options but never got through to anybody, so left a voice message. No response. Tried again on the morning of the booking to find that the outgoing message on the 01981 number had been changed and pointed me to an 0344 number, which hadn't been provided on the booking confirmation under the 'contact' section of the booking confirmation. Called them and they said I was too late to make any changes - tough s**t basically. The fact that I'd tried the avenues provided in their booking documentation, well ahead of time, didn't mean anything to them. After nearly a week of email back and forth, including them pointing me to terms and conditions for which no link had been provided during the booking process (you have to visit the NT's homepage and then find them from there - the ones that I viewed on Eventbrite are worthless as far as I can tell), I've now decided it's pointless talking to them. No refund, no complimentary pass, nothing. Wish I'd read some of the other reviews before booking anything. I'd have done better flushing my money down the loo.

As per all the other reviews here - I wish I'd read this before wasting my time signing up for this service... They approved my account and after about £100 in orders were received, closed it down pending review.... Obviously I felt I had to comply with their unreasonable and some impossible demands. After uploading much sensitive personal information they replied after a week that they could not continue with supporting my business model! I am livid due to this not being mentioned when setting up and having the business model approved initially. There is nothing suspicious, or in any way risky with my business, and they didn't elaborate on any details but from the questions asked, it seems they were simply incompetent in understanding simple things. A total waste of time and they still have my £100. Who's the one taking the risk I wonder???

ABEBOOKS guilty of internet fraud. Returns are almost impossible if one of their con sellers (Irish Booksellers, Campbell books, Ergode Books, is involved. These sellers refuse to acknowledge a return and Abebooks protects them often replying book was not purchased on Abebooks. Often I've received response from an Abebooks customer service rep that "their" seller name on Abebooks is Ergode books. Several times I had to threaten contacing my credit card company for fraud. Consquently Abebooks suspended my seller account (after 20 years with 98% completion rating) and now is withholding payment to my account. "Your statement is ready. Please sign on to your AbeBooks account to review it.Your statement total is US$ 1,098.16Your balance is carried forward to your next statement because there is a hold on your account.This type of fraud is called DoS Disruption of services for malicious intent. There is no way to dispute or reverse this without arduous and costly effort on my part. The company is corrupt. Any advice on how to report would be appreciated. DO NOT BUY FROM ABEBOOKS>
