NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! Having purchased tickets for a cooking course through them, the event organiser cancelled the event without contacting myself on two occasions, both times prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. Contacted the organiser requesting a refund in March with no reply (obviously). Really hacked off at this point so complained to Eventbrite, what a joke, explained the situation and coupled with COVID-19 I was not prepared to wait for another date for it to be cancelled again, reply when I requested the refund they stated the reason for declining my request didn't meet their criteria:-The event was cancelled (it was twice with no planned future date)-You purchased the ticket before 15th March (purchased Dec 2019)-Even scheduled between 15/03-15/05 (there is no scheduled date)-Event organiser has not indicated they are offering an alternate form of accommodation (the organiser wont correspond with me, so no event and no planned date)In summary, this company is a total con, never use them. There is no way to complain about Eventbrite, once they take your money your on your own, simple as that.Submitted my experience on all forms of social media to spread the word and hope other people aren't ripped off like I and seemingly lots of other people on here have been
