Review Time
For me wikipedia has become an important allie in everyday necessities, no matter what the theme is. And most of the times it did provide more than satisfying answer. One thing I'm bothered with is the selection of what's important and what's not. Few times I did provide it with some crucial stuff, which were neglected only to find it posted a month later from someone else, and accepted then. And not to mention other unimportant and crappy stuff that's on wikipedia, while some other important stuff isn't.
For non-controversial topics, Wikipedia is pretty good.
For the big questions about prime reality (existence and nature of God, age of earth, evolution, etc.), Wikipedia pays lip service with articles discussing the topics; however, in reality it (a) fails to capture the best arguments and instead sets up straw men, and (b) makes assumptions about the "true answer" in many other articles. It has a goal of a neutral point of view, but doesn't come close.
Certainly useful for first insights into a subject but DO NOT just accept everything on there as fact. Most banal things or issues and clear fact on science and technology are usually spot on and to a detailed enough technical level that it matches dedicated sites for those subjects. However anything with a political dynamic or anything contentious is subject to bias and propaganda creeping in so be careful to research further and draw your own conclusions.
Wikipedia is one of the top sites on the internet. It provides a free encyclopedia which is entirely made up of user contributions. The fact that anybody can contribute does mean that the information is not always 100% correct and is open to occasional spam. Its is however thought to be a very trustworthy site.
