Review of getresponse
Switched from Constant Contact after a problem with their automations not running properly. CC has some good first line CSRs, but getting a deeper issues resolved was taking too much time. GetResponse was recommended by someone on the team. I'll start with a few minor negatives - the UI forced me to scroll more than I'd like, and some of the core functions were confusing to me. For example, understanding how duplicates work. However, this is an issue with CC as well. The single largest negatives had to do with features that I would have liked. Setting up tracking for multiple links in an email, for example... I do not recommend. This is an issue inherent to the workflow. In a similar vein, assigning link tracking can be very confusing. I also failed to properly tie in data tracking such that data was automatically transferred back and forth with google analytics. This was advanced, and I eventually abandoned it due to time restrictions. Bad out of the way. The good? Far better technical support than expected. Someone was almost always online to help. They were very patient, even when there were some communication problems ( I think they are a Polish company ). Everyone has great English, but sometimes I found myself working to explain what I wanted. Not a big deal at all. Their availability and turn around time with my tickets was phenomenal. I was under serious time line issues, and relied on them for more than I should have. Often instead of just RTFM. Functionality was solid. We had an 8 week campaign, tracking two separate links in the email. One to a download, the other to an appointment schedule link. We would filter out certain people based on their actions, then continue to drip to non-responsive recipients. Overall it worked very well. It also allowed me to make a change mid campaign, without breaking everything. We decided to take people who clicked on a link, but did not download back into the flow. I was able to do this quite well. Importing lists from CC was good, however importing tags and some other data required a better understanding of the import ( thanks support! ). I was able to import 5k contact list without too much struggle. Doing it a second time would be easy. All of these systems have their quirks to learn. What mattered to me was that the campaign went out on time ( well, technically it was delayed, but not GR or my fault! ). Data matched what I was seeing in GA4. There was some learning curve ( especially understanding the creation of duplicates, and the creation of email vs notifications. Or whatever their terms were - but basically an email in an automation is not the same as an email crafted for a single send. And when you use an email as a template, it becomes a separate document - it isn't linked in any way to the original email. So making edits across many automation paths was confusing at first, as well as link tracking. Early test sends were tracking the email template, not the automation version. Anyway, thunbs up, would use again. Would recommend. Oh - form integration with wordpress had some quirks, but it was better than CC. GR dealt better with me using my own landing pages. CC does not like that.

Huge scam and money grabbing sleazy company. Don’t ever give them your credit card number. There are very predatory and sneaky. They’re stealing my money two years in a row. First i subscribed naïvely for 88 $ second year they automatically charged without notice 220 and third year ( yesterday 300 dollars.) Without my permission, even though I unsubscribe already last year from their automatic money grabbing scam. Turns out it was not enough to be unsubscribed. They raise the prize more than three times. Without informing me or asking anything. This company operates in a very sneaky way, and they are only - after your money.💰 they stole $300 from my account yesterday I was shocked I wrote to them and they refused to refund me. Further actions to follow.
Review of nest
This works OKAY if you pay for Nest Aware, but if not, it hardly works AT ALL. I prepare myself every time I open the app to have to restart the app about 6 times before it will work. On the first few tries, it is either spinning or says that the camera is offline. I plan to get rid of it.
Review of mcafee
I would not recommend this company. We have spent 6 months of constant effort to get them to stop charging for protection for a total of 5 devices (never signed up for that and we don't own that many); and several times the person on the phone has promised action that hasn't happened. Every step has been painful, time-consuming and the process as a whole seems designed to wear the customer into submission. Don't touch them, don't participate in a free trial, avoid at all costs
Review of gov
HMRCHard to find a more unhelpful, serpentine organisation as HMRC.If the way they treat taxpayers trying to do self-assessment is anything to go by, then it's little wonder the country is in such a mess.First, they say "Tax doesn't have to be taxing"Then they close down most of the local tax offices.Go digital they say. What a mistake that was. Most companies, banks, big retailers etc., can invent a registering and logging in system that is secure and reasonably easy to use.Not HMRC.They have to come up with stuff like Government Gateway and Gov.UK Verify.Gateway to Hell more like.Gov Verify must have been a cast-off from the Soviet era, something the KGB would have been proud of.Having an NI number, being on the PAYE system, electoral role, a driving licence etc., isn't enough to verify who you are. Then comes the questions that you are supposed to know the answers to, but only some third party like the Post Office knows the answer. No "what is your mother's maiden name", but "what did you have for breakfast on 1st April 2010?"They asked me when I had taken out a mobile phone contract.I knew when and with who.The correct answer kept failing until I tried "never".That worked. So their third party who checks the answers has got the wrong answer. You are stuffed.Get the answer wrong 2 or 3 times, you get locked out for days. After many complaints and speaking to someone on the technical side, I was eventually able to log in and pay my taxes.Until 1st April 2022.The old Verify system has been dumped and won't work any more. All those nightmares all over again. They also dumped most of the six third party identity checkers and cut them down to two, including the Post Office who brought you the Horizon IT system that sent innocent sub-post masters to jail.A fine choice.Asking why users didn't get any notification of the change, the answer from Government Digital Services (GDS), was "I'm unsure of what HMRC have communicated with their users about this change"So one department hasn't got a clue what the other one is doing.Someone's head should roll for running HMRC and GDS

I would like to praise Breakwell Optometrists in Warwick for their superlative care and thoroughness. I have had health issues which could have affected my eyes. My mind was completely relieved through an in depth examination with Optomap and a wonderfully clear explanation as to the goings on behind the eye! Highly recommended.
Review of CNN
News should always be free. It's in our constitution! This channel wants us to make us pay for our news which is totally outrageous. I do not use television and should be able to see the CNN Town Hall with Kamala Harris tonight. This is extremely frustrating that you have to have TV in order to see this news event. This is a very worthy news event! CNN is going downhill rapidly. They've lost really great reporters like Don Lemon and others. It's easy to say why they have.
Review of brave
Complete scam.Been a user since its early development, they don't care about the users feedback or how to improve the platform.Whatever you make doesn't matter at the end cause it get's adjusted according to their budget every month. So let's say you've made 10 this month, by the time it syncs near the 6th day of the month you'd check them again and see they became 7 or 6.Not only that, to withdraw your BAT tokens you need to spend a network fee of 5 dollars to uphold which is entirely new and isn't based on an actual expense, been using it for over a year now and it worked just fine before they introduced the heavy fee.A lot of sneaky tactics are being used currently so they would milk the users even more, it's just too much details to mention.I think the browser is about to die specially when you think about how nobody is watching those ads and users basically close them tabs as soon as they click them. It's a failed business model.
Review of venmo
Sellers beware!! Venmo is the WORST pay system I've EVER dealt with as of yet. I'm only giving them one star because it's not possible to give them ZERO but really I think they deserve negative stars, to the max. Here's the story (and it can all be backed up by the facts because I have ALL the correspondence: I'm very new to using Venmo, though I had configured the app months ago but no need for it. Now, my sister has passed away and as the Estate's executor, I'm liquidating her assets so I finally had occasion to receive payment through Venmo. Well. Shocking...They LIED to 3 of my customers, told them that I had indicated that I had received three payments in error and they RETURNED their money to these three customers. Whattt????! I never said any such thing I only requested a bank transfer of the three valid transactions, so how they made this story up I will never know because when I ask them to explain they do NOT respond, they only say they will get back to me. On the same day, about 3 weeks ago, they told me, (and all of this is in writing and documented), something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT: that they had flagged my account for review because they could not process a bank transfer at my request and then FROZE MY ACCOUNT. They refuse to explain WHY they could not process the bank transfer, even though they had done one previously to the same bank account with no problem. This is unimaginable bad business as far as I'm concerned. in the end I dealt with it completely on my own with no help from Venmo as they were totally unresponsive, they only said that they would get back to me within five business days (?!?!?!?) by email which they did NOT honor. I had to contact them AGAIN on day 6 with no word from them. And even then, it took over another entire week for them to FINALLY unfreeze my account after I had gone through the verification process which I had tried to do in the very beginning but was rejected. In the end when I did it a second time I used the exact same images and this time it was accepted so, just yet another example of their total lack of efficiency. I resolved it by reaching out to the 3 persons, to ask them to be honorable and to pay me another way, which they did, thank goodness, because they already HAD my sisters things. Luckily they were honest people, no thanks to Venmo and their embarrassingly inadequate service. Needless to say, even though they have unfrozen my account I will NEVER again use their services.

Out of the blue received notification of a payment receipt for $650. (No warning email received) I had tried previously to find my subscription and credit card details in the site and couldn't, so thought I was safe and wouldn't be charged again. I hadn't used the site in months and didn't want to sign on for another year. I previously changed my email address on the site, and tried accessing payment/subscription information on the site to deactivate, trying BOTH email addresses, and get "this email does not match any purchases in this account" yet my credit card was charged. I asked them to reverse the charge and got a snarky response pointing me towards the refund policy (which doesn't consider my situation). Don't trust this broken website or their customer 'service'.

Review of americanexpress
I have been a customer of American Express since 2006. They recently sent me a mail offer to open a small business charge card account with them and I applied. They approved the small business card but then once the personal card credit department discovered I am now working for myself, they decided to cancel my personal card with little notice.I accepted this without any complaint and proceeded to call the business card team to cancel the newly approved card as I'd paid it off in full / showing zero balance. The business card team declined to close my business card account, stating I needed to pay off my personal card in full first.I find this unacceptably poor business practice: Be a customer for 17 years, receive an Amex "backs small businesses" offer, accept the offer, have a long-standing relationship cancelled and then have to deal with them refusing to close the newly opened business account.
Review of crypto
(Edit) After contacing support a few times they did eventually sort out my problem..Sent a fiat deposit using the FPS system to my fiat wallet which is supposed to be faster and I made sure I used the correct code to send it. It says on the email it will take up to 3 working days. It shows up in my banking app as correct and money has been sent. 5 days later it is still not showing up in my fiat wallet.
