I have utilized Wikipedia for years. I edit wikipedia when I feel I have something to contribute, and while I would acknowledge that the content can, at times, be manipulated for unsavory purposes, I consider Wikipedia to be an indispensable and trusted resource. I support the Wikimedia Foundation.
Process of creating pages is terrible with volunteer admins who attack new people trying to navigate the system. They are unhelpful, hateful, mean. I will not donate money to their annual fundraiser if this is the people they have on staff.
With Wikipedia anyone can post answers to questions or false information. When I was studying for a test one I used Wikipedia for facts and one of the facts was completely wrong, but I but that fact in my paper and my teacher said it was false. So I got a C- on a test because of some person on Wikipedia. Do not use it.
Honestly one of the best information pages on the internett.For those saying you can just edit and get away with it. NO its not like that at all, have you even tried? Well i tried and without sources it gets removed in minutes and you receive a block so you cant contribute with more.
