Been using it for over 18 months…

Been using it for over 18 months without any issues. Integrated with WordPress website easy enough using a paid plugin.

Transactions/donations were wiped out by braintree

After accepting donations on my website they cancelled my account and all work, effort, customers trust was ruined. First they grant you account and let you use it then they review and delete all transactions. We had just few dollars donations to our charity and then Braintree wiped out our account. After you integrate your website with their payment gateway on production they destroy everything.

Please AVOID THEM!!

Please AVOID THEM!!! BIG SCAMMERS! I have applied and got approved, started processing, got like $2000 into the account, and suddenly they limited the access for "another risk verification" that required same documents as previously, but this time also wanted to get documents from my bank with information of my bank account balances, and stated that they are going to hold the money for 180 days up to another 180 days which is up to 1 year and because my account has been flagged, they close it!!!! TOTAL SCAM! They even asked for documents via email not complying with GDPR! I transfered money before via PayPal with no issues, and only 2 days with Braintree to steal my money!!!

Hardly seems worth adding another one…

Hardly seems worth adding another one star review at this point but anyway... I find it amusing that Braintree think that advertising themselves as a Paypal company is a good thing, when everyone who has ever used Paypal as a business or developer knows it is the butt of all jokes and the source of a thousand irritations. The fact that seems to be their biggest selling point says it all. WASTE OF TIME. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.edit: what kind of serious company hasn't even claimed their Trustpilot page. Just shows how much effort they put into customer care.

I found Braintree site is very very…

I found Braintree site is very very essential for me because of I have so many payments that I have to get paid or claim so now I decided that Braintree can give me best fast solutions for all of my payments I have and also they gave me different kinds of supporting idea so I like them so so much

Not suitable for e-commerce

Terrible experience working with Braintree. First off the sales person offered us everything to get us to sign up. As soon as we closed our previous merchant account and we spent a few thousand fixing their integration they started rolling back on promises. Apparently the sales people don't talk to their Merchant services. Our account was then incorrectly configured by them which caused chargebacks. The rep promised we wouldnt be charge the 20Euro fee per charge back (that they caused). We took his word, then found out they were charging us for their mistake. When i inquired why they hadnt refunded the charges on all the chargebacks they created in error based on the agreement we had with them, the only response i got is i should have got that in writing. Then we found out money was missing from our account. After a long investigation we found out that they were giving positive transactions which they were latter failing to settle after we had dispatched. No noticed was given when this happened. So customers were getting products and not paying for it. We were paying taxes on these sales as if they had been taking place. In one case a Paypal employee (Paypal own Braintree) ordered an item which we dispatched that day and then logged in after receiving the dispatch notice and refunded himself without us being notified. We complained but were ignored. We're in a situation where we've spent a thousands and many hours developing integration's and specialised systems to work with them (no its not as simple as they make out to integrate) and now we are begging them to get their house in order but its always not the problem of the person we are dealing with. There is good aspects to the system, but if you can't be sure of getting paid, whats the point.

Terrible experience

Terrible experiencethey aprooved my account than waiting for processed payments over 3 weeks and still nothing on my account and they insist that money has been transferred. not possible to get any confirmation just email with dates and amount transferred.. i could write it myself easy ...Stay away as far as you canat them moment im only 180 out of pocket but they are still my money and i had to send products to my customers and not sure if i ever will seen any penny.

They love to waste the time of people coupled with their ridiculous service standard. Get ready to waste your time and effort if you sign up with them

This is the worst Payment Processor…

This is the worst Payment Processor I've ever occured working with for my website. Do you know is this bad? Because is part of PayPal company. Yes, they retain your funds for no reason and release if they want to. If your business relies on money then stay away from Braintree.
