Misleading and Dishonest – Felt Scammed by GoDaddy

I had a very disappointing experience with GoDaddy. I searched for a domain for my business, found the exact one I wanted listed as available, and added it to my cart. But right after that, it suddenly showed as already taken. Then GoDaddy tried to upsell me a “broker service” to supposedly help me buy the same domain for a much higher price. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic — they advertise a domain as available, then pull it away and ask for more money.I contacted customer service hoping for a clear explanation, but instead, I got vague and misleading answers. No real help, just more frustration. This kind of shady practice is unacceptable. Be cautious if you’re considering using GoDaddy — in my experience, they are not transparent or trustworthy.

EA app and pc overheating

After installed EA app nothing yet happened, but when installed and tried to play Need for Speed Unbound my pc instantly started to overheat (cpu went up to +108 celcius... thanks ea app to trying to destroy my pc) and it instantly shut down. Tried also twice game NFS (2015) and it wont even open & start... Instantly deleted this app and i really really recommend not never install that app. I even paid 15 euros for pro account and i want refund!

Review of ea

I’ve never felt such a dissatisfaction…

I’ve never felt such a dissatisfaction in a content that really brings me to my lowest self. EA’s games and they way they’re designed, from there store, to how the players move, what the players get out of putting hours into the game. To literally changing how your games go and if you win or lose. I’m a veteran of FIFA EA games. I’m 28 and I’ve been a gamer for over a decade now. I’m experienced and know my way around competitive gaming and the experience I’ve had with all of their sport games. Not including there other games that’s not in this genre. I have experienced pure force by EA in which they design competitive gaming. It’s in such a way that it’s not in any way shape or form of freedom you see in real life sports. Each online game is rigged in a way that you will win never in your favor. I’ve experienced a terrible community and in combination with how the games feel like they’re literally designed to put you down in an emotional state and decay your human mind. For example. I play FC 24 Ultimate Team quite a bit recently and since I got a hold of all the best players I could in the game. Ever since then. My experience of the online UT games have been completely downhill, complete opposite of what I was truly expecting. Instead I got games with players who less per say Overall skilled players than me. When I know in fact that’s not always important. But more than regularly almost if not all my losses has been to players with less skilled players. And trust me I got good players. From 99 Messie to 99 CR7, Neymar, Ronaldo, Pele. Full squad 99 players. Yet I get trampled on no matter how hard I try. Somehow I’m getting demolished and demoralized with people’s behavior against my team. The way the games have turned out have just looked like I’m meant to lose no matter what. And that is so unbelievable unfair that I’m willing to write this whole long story and share to at least someone who is willing to read all of this. My experience with EA has been so terrible over the past multiple years that I’m even questioning my own sanity. And these people who are at the tipity top making all these awful decisions who are multi billionaires and that’s all that really truly matters to them. I’m so sad to expect this experience from other people who could careless because they are living the dream. This company should be ashamed and embarrassed and raided by the FBI. Andrew Wilson is a criminal and a awful human being.

Honest app review

I have been using the chess.com app for over a year and played approx 2000 games on it. Chess.com is generally a nice app to start playing chess with (Elo 0-900).What i experienced after 900 is that random players start playing “surprisingly” well once they are about too loose the game. Quite often combined with a suddenly very fast playing style and essentially either winning by time or by checkmate. In timed offline games I play with an Elo between 1200-1400 but not on chess.com.There is certainly too much cheating / engine playing going on. When making chess.com aware of the problem, you do not receive any concrete answer but the forums and reviews indicate chess.com has a serious issue with cheaters. The other thing i disliked is the way chess.com automatically mutes your ability to chat with players. They call it an “artificial intelligence” but in truth it is a pretty ordinary word detector without any ability to understand the context! Calling this function an AI gives you a feeling how the people behind the app think and operate. If the app spots for example the word “idiot” they automatically mute your account between 1 to 7 days, despite the fact you wrote “i m such an idiot :)”. They then refer to their community guidelines..When you address this with their support, they frequently apologize about their “artificial intelligence” but make no effort in changing something. Some real intelligence would be needed!I also do not see the issue with fun or arousing talk. The chess.com bot does by also muting your chat function.Although I purchased the premium version of the app and have addressed the topic several times, chess.com does not react. Neither on the chat muting nor the cheating part. Being a premium user but being served and sanctioned by a bot which is working incorrectly is annoying over time. For everyone who plays better then Elo 900 (or has the ambition to get to this level) and also likes to communicate without immediate disciplinary actions, I would strongly discourage selecting chess.com and purchasing the premium version. After 1 year of premium subscription I will be leaving the app.PS: Also the automatic chess.com apology reply will not change my decision.

Sends Spam e-mails containing fake or unverified content that links to the website. It offers to show me 2 academic references that I have recently been cited in that are not on google scholar. However, I am 100% sure that I have been referenced exactly 0 times. To view these supposed references ofcourse I have to enter my credit card details. I would strongly suggest this is a fake site targettting people by spam e-mails unless they can show otherwise.

Really loving how easy it is to use. However, I wish the chat and FAQ section was more helpful when you have licensing questions which I found it's not. I found it easier just to contact the creator for those questions.

Appalling treatment of members

I have spent all morning trying to get tickets on National Trust web site - a complete waste of time and effort. After 4 hours of attempting to connect with various NT sites in my area - I managed to get one ticket! My partner and I have joint membership which we have had for many years. I couldn’t get back on to get another ticket and another hour later discovered all tickets sold out. This system is absolutely appalling and no consideration for long term members who pay every year. I sent an email complaining last week but have been completely ignored. I like many others will be cancelling my membership.

No real issues so far

I opened an account with American Express after Capital One had refused further credit limit increases on my account. The process was easy enough, and I got my new credit card in the mail not long after I signed up. The credit limit is much higher than Capital One's paltry offering too, so I am actually able to use the credit card to a reasonable extent *without* my credit score dropping like a stone due to ivory tower credit brokers seeing me as a DEFCON 1 risk for "overusing" my credit limit.I personally don't have any complaints about them so far. Hopefully, it will stay that way.

I had a problem with Falcon Insurance that was given an A+ rating. Falcon insurance is a scam insurance company that offered $1200 for a settlement for damages near $8000. Eleven months later $10000 because of Falcon playing games. I am having to take the driver to court. The BBB did not even acknowledge the fact that this scam company received a demand for payment from my attorney and ignored it. Driver was 100% at fault, slams into my truck, and they lied despite proof on my end that they were. Falcon does not and has never acted in good faith. That they receive complaints and never post the real story indicates where their priorities lie. Not with the person complaining. The BBB is as much a scam as Falcon Insurance.
