Review of emirates
We have had a complaint since April 2024 and getting nowhere. Cannot speak to customer services directly you have to do every thing on line then wait 60 days. The reply you get appears to be a stock letter not dealing with what you have asked. If you phone they say do a on line complaint form so you go round in circles. Our holiday was ruined by Emirates and now the stress they are causing us is unbelievable.I would give them MINUS FIVE STARS if you have a problem they DO NOT want to know and blame someone else. We are in our 60s and never been treated so badly.
Review of booking
Absolutely hate the experience I've had and will never use booking again. We had an unexpected death in the family and had to cancel our entire summer vacation. I have been trying FOR DAYS to get ahold of someone through booking or the hotel to cancel and find out if I can get a refund. They make it impossible. I can't figure out how to talk to anyone. Like I don't have enough going on right now. Horrible horrible customer service that just runs you in circles.

I have been a Telegraph reader for over 50 years. On line suited me and was originally as good as the printed version. The new app has continuous download problems and now I can't even find a solution to the crossword unless I complete it! If things don't improve I will not renew again. Sad that a quality paper can no longer provide a decent service.

Review of braintreepayments
The worst merchant provider, completely inefficient - please use Stripe, not Braintree.Took months to set up an account, customer service is virtually non existent, you cannot call them, you email and it takes days to get a half baked response that is copied and pasted from someone else and it makes no sense. If you want any changes made for anything, expect it to take months and be completely inefficient. My contact would email me requesting information, I would respond almost instantly and receive their out of office response and have to wait a week or more for a reply. You want to use Apple Pay - 3 weeks to set up, you want to create a simple payment link for customers - forget it. You want to integrate with Piano or similar, 4 weeks wait, you have a technical query - 4 weeks wait. You need to speak to the underwriter- forget it.Braintree used to be the best option as technically they were superior, but that is just not the case anymore, most other merchant services do the same as Braintree, just better, quicker, easier and more friendly and efficient.Using Braintree for nearly 12 months has been the worst experience with any company I have ever had.I contacted Stripe and within 6 hours I had 1:1 call, an account, and was fully integrated taking card payments. It’s been several months now and the service is perfect. Please avoid Braintree and choose anyone else except them.
Review of americanexpress
For awhile now I noticed that my On-line page with Amex was showing my Customer ID as soon as I clicked the box. So I used Chat and asked Amex to delete this info. from my website page. After awhile, Kristyne from Chat told that Amex had not saved that info. in my page. It must be your own Browser that is doing this. I’m & rubbish with computers, so Kristyne was patient enough to lead me through that “minefield” and I was able to delete the unwanted details. I’m so scared of anybody opening my computer and seeing those details automatically. So, no worries now. Kristyne solved my problem and I’m grateful.
Review of amazon
Canceled my Prime Membership 2 years ago because I had constant problems with deliveries being delayed. However, I still order occasionally because it’s almost unavoidable. I ordered a pair of scrubs using Hilton Honors Points because they were about to expire. The scrubs were wrong so I went through the return process. I know they refund to the original payment method, but since the Hilton Honors account was expired, I needed to know if they could refund to my Amazon account. They offered me a $10 promotional credit instead of the $60 the scrubs cost. I said absolutely not. They said they wouldn’t do anything else. After HOURS of wrangling and internet searches to find a phone number, I FINALLY got them to refund it to my Amazon account as a gift card balance. But the next day, they removed it all. I’m done with this company. Never ordering anything again.

Issues are being picked-up instantly and either it gets fixed automatically or I get notified immediately with recommended steps to be taken. One matter for consideration:- please notify users about 21 days prior to renewal payments are debited ... reminders will prevent deductions to take place from accounts with inadequate funds for that day.

Review of vrbo
It started with a seemingly normal stay in Mammoth Lakes, CA (Meadow Ridge 37 (VRBO Property # 2451906)): easy check-in, property well-maintained, no issues! Everything you’d expect from a corporate conglomerate of VRBO and Vacasa Property Management. We arrived on Wednesday and stayed till Sunday for a ski weekend. On Friday morning, some folks in our group started noticing hives and rashes on their bodies. We just figured it was environmental - maybe brushing up against some pine, maybe pollen, or something they ate. Everyone was itchy and took plenty of OTC meds, but limited help.On Sunday morning, we proceeded to start the check-out process and discovered bed bugs under one of the mattresses!! We squished a few of them and noticed blood coming out of them - which was our rudimentary validation of what caused the hives….they were indeed bed bug bites. We called VRBO and Vacasa and were told that we can evacuate the property and the local team would come check on the situation and give us a call to discuss next steps. It’s been over a week at this point. Limited to no communication from Vacasa, VRBO threw up their hands and said it wasn’t their problem, and now we’ve been punted off to 2 different companies (Sedgwick and Rental Guardian)….with little to no actual communication or response.Honestly, we’re just looking for a little courtesy in letting us know how to navigate this situation and playing fairly given a lot of inconvenience, very likely bed bug infestation in our clothes and homes, and really bad daily medical issues. It seems as though Vacasa and VRBO are not interested in taking this situation seriously and really dropping the ball, in addition to blatantly breaking their respective terms and conditions - which articulate “clean and safe” stays and properties.I’m hoping this post will get someone’s attention that can help work through our situation. To date, the only people we’re aware of that are involved are Cole Davis (Assistant Manager for Vacasa in Mammoth Lakes) and Nicole James from Sedgwick (her manager is Cathy Guzman, Qualified Manager, CA license #2B88261 who is part of Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., CA license #2549023).
