Times newspaper customer service is appalling

Having purchased the Saturday Times last weekend I found, for the fourth time this summer, that two of the supplements were missing. I contacted The Times customer service, only to be told that they will not provide me with these sections, either in paper form or online, even though I have paid for them. They suggest instead that I take out a subscription. Why on earth would I want to subscribe to a newspaper with such appalling customer service.

Review of scribd

fine service but scammy web

I was billed again because of their extremely confusing webdesign. I thought Its been done however there is a button hidden under multiple ads that you need to click to actually cancel the service.Update #1: I have been offered a refund, I will update this review as soon as it processes / doesnt processUpdate #2: I have been refunded the money, the process was very quick and painless, however I still feel like the process of cancelling your subscription could be more clear. To conclude this, the service is fine, just be careful if you ever need to cancel.

Review of redbubble

Don’t order from them

My first and only time ordering from Redbubble. I ordered a laptop decal about a month ago. It was marked as shipped almost immediately, but says usps awaiting item. Never changed from that. After looking for what seems like forever on a way to contact Redbubble customer service they toldMe to wait longer than expected delivery date to ask for a refund and that they are sure it’s on the way. So it’s now expected delivery date and I try and log into my account to cancel the order and it won’t let me log in. There’s nothing about this transaction that was good, spent $40 and never got anything and probably won’t get a refund either. Theres no way to contact the seller, or leave bad reviews to warn others. Just stay away

Review of indeed

Small Employer Frustration

After years of using Indeed as a recruiter, they cut me off and won't let me have an employer account. I believe the issue started when I used a VPN before a trip to Italy. It seems that using a VPN triggers account rejection on Indeed, though this isn't openly communicated. I plan to share this publicly wherever I can, so others like me avoid using VPNs. However, this will also tip off bad actors, who will likely find new workarounds. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, I’ve received no help. It’s disappointing to see a company with such a large share of entry-level job seekers treating users this way.  This has been a colossal waste of 6 weeks of my time and money trying to start new LLCs and websites to get through the mysterious gates of Indeed.

Review of chipotle

I was at the Kissimmee Florida store at…

I was at the Kissimmee Florida store at The Loop Mall. I went during the evening time and they were pets in the restaurant. Hairy ones. On another evening, it was very busy and the line was very long. By the time I got to the front there we're only two girls working. I ordered a burrito with chicken white rice cheese corn black beans and sour cream. I like to keep it simple. I noticed the person sliding my burrito across the metal counter without any protection beneath it and scooping food back into the burrito off the counter we should have been discarded. I went home 10 minutes later and you got to eat my food. By 12 midnight I became sick bloated nauseous. I called out from work for the next day. My nausea was excessive and I began to have extreme diarrhea. Mind you this was a Saturday and I only had a bagel and tea for the morning, some oatmeal for lunch. And chipotle for dinner. The only thing out of routine for the whole week was Chipotle for dinner which I eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch everyday. Now it was early Sunday morning, and I was sick like a dog. I finally began to vomit what was in my stomach. It was all Chipotle food that was sitting in there for hours. I was finally strong enough to go to the emergency room where they labeled it as food poisoning. I contacted Chipotle a couple days later by email, they did an investigation, and a week later, claimed no responsibility for my illness and threw my case out. Needless to say my family have never touched another Chipotle and whenever I go out I recommend no one eat Chipotle, especially coworkers managers strangers on the street, homeless people... everybody! I let that situation go despite being sick for4 whole days and missing 3 days of work and running up a $1,500 emergency room bill.

Issues with HP Envy X360 14-fc001na…

I purchased an HP Envy X360 14-fc001na with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB RAM, and a 2.8K OLED touchscreen from John Lewis on December 2, 2024. Unfortunately, from the very first use, it has been nothing short of a nightmare. The laptop constantly freezes, is extremely unresponsive, and takes several seconds to register any input including scrolling, clicking on any document/item.Since it was a birthday/Christmas gift, I didn’t start using it until January, by which time the 30-day return window had passed, preventing me from exchanging it. Despite my patience over the past two to three months, the laptop has already gone in for repairs twice, with the motherboard replaced each time. After the second repair, I received it back last Friday, only to find that it took an unbelievable 40 minutes to boot up, something I recorded in anticipation of further issues. Despite having clear video evidence, the HP support team has been reluctant to replace the device. At this point, my patience has run out. I am escalating this matter and demand an immediate replacement. John Lewis/HP, I need your help to resolve this issue ASAP.

Beware traveler!!! Southwest Airlines is the worst airline…

Southwest Airlines is the worst airline experience I’ve had just about ever. Constant changes to the schedule, nonstop layovers, no direct flights seemingly anywhere.. My wife booked these tickets. Next time I’m doing anything but southwest. Literally every time i checked the schedule, it had changed. Beware!

Review of anthropologie

Anthropologie-- non-existent customer service

I ordered a hair cream and Anthropologie sent a (less expensive) shampoo instead. It has now been four weeks since I ordered the product, and I have spent countless time on the phone with customer service (preceded each time by at least 20 minutes on hold listening to Anthropologie ads), and sent photos of the incorrect product and written testimony. Now Anthropologie has sent me return labels and I am to return the "hair cream", and they will send me my hair cream. How can I return a product I never received? Anthropologie has the WORST customer service. Avoid them, I wish I had.
