Review of g2
My experience with G2 was great. The questions were spot on, it took about 10 minutes and the reward was very generous. I wrote a review about a software that has changed the game for me. A total Win/Win Experience!

Bbc has become an absolute waste of uk public licence payers, we watch one program on bbc that we have to pay a yearly licence fee for its daylight robbery. BBC should go either subscription or have ads then maybe public will get better content then drivel that’s on bbc

You have a great team, that help all the customers immediately in a very nice, caring way...And above all you answer all Emails which is great..I like to be your customer forever, even sometimes i wanted to see another companies but i find a great difference between you and the others...Exact timing of delivery, easy to return. ..But i am not pleased of the 5,95 each order....that's my only complain. ..Thanks and keep going on

I don’t know why other peoples reviews here are for Kwik Fit and other businesses - not Google . It’s all becoming weirder and weirder . Just be warned about Google - I have been getting calls from all over the world saying I placed ads in Google ( Google AdWords) for rooms and houses to rent in New York , Scotland and Canada. TOTAL THIEVES . Google created an ad words ad with American wording for my house ( I’m in kent , U.K. ) and my telephone number !!!!!!! and have been taking money out every month for this . I did a website for my home ( I rent on Airbnb) and another business years ( menswear ) ago but not ever a GOOGLE AdWords for my home - I found ten years so they often scam by overcharging in the past by double even if you set the limit so I never did it for ten years- gosh the world is all about scams now. Terrifying . No telephone support at all - anywhere . This is the future - faceless corporations ruling over us . It’s coming people

Review of venmo
DO NOT TRUST, terrible service that lies to customers: Venmo cancelled my account and forfeited my final balance to the government without my consent and against multiple written statements in which I said I do not want anything happening to my account or the money I still have in it. This action was taken despite assurances from the customer support team that all my funds would be secure in my account, which I currently cannot access due to Covid/being outside of US territory. How is it okay that your company has a policy that "a user must be located within the U.S. to use our services", while also forcing them to log in to the same unaccessible account by a certain date so it wouldn't be suspended and all funds forfeited? And why promise that nothing would happen to the account when it actually did? This is deceit.

Review of avg
We've used AVG for many years and previously I've given them a 5 star rating. Now they've dropped somewhat in my estimation.I owe them an apology howeverI thought that I was going to pay 2 renewal fees in one year but now realise that a payment in May was to Total AV for my phone protection and a payment due in July is for AVG renewal on my computer. My biggest issue now is thatThere's no telephone number I can ring anymore and there's no email The 2 phone numbers listed on Google don't get anywhere.I used to be able to call them so why can't I now?The so called support page when you log in takes you around in circlesIf anything the webpage should have an online form you can fill in.It was only yesterday when I originally gave them a 2 star review that AVG contacted me.I'm no longer prepared to engage with companies who don't provide proper contact facilities.I've now cancelled my subscription and am using Total AV for our devices. They at least have a contact form!
Review of abercrombie
I just bought direct from A&F online for the first time. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to any other UK customers for the following reasons:
1) Return address is based in the Netherlands
2) Included return label (UPS) costs £9 which is deducted from your refund
3) If you damage this label (don't put clear tape over it - the text all disappears!) - A&F cust service have no way at all to send a new one. In fact I asked several unrelated questions and the stock answer was that their system doesn't allow them to do that. Pretty poor experience.
4) returning items yourself - cost me £17.99 to do this via the cheapest shipping aggregator I could find.
All this was after spending 45 minutes shopping the A&F mid-season sale on my iPhone (UK store in GBP £), only to be told at checkout that they couldn't ship sale items to the UK! really?! I had to then find a PC and do it that way - the transaction went through OK. So some issue with their systems and mobile devices. I did email them with this so that in case they weren't aware, they could correct it. After all, it nearly lost them a £250 sale if I hadn't persevered. I got a fairly standard email telling me to use a PC! duh!
All in all, a very frustrating experience. A&F really need to learn from some of their peers and offer a better customer experience.
UPDATE: I received a 20% off voucher (not as a result of this review though) for the problems I've had. So Abercrombie obviously want to provide a good experience, their just let down by their systems and excessive shipping policies/fees. If they can sort that, maybe they can provide a good customer experience. Upped rating to 2 stars.
Review of coursera
I registered with Coursera for a course on UX design with 7 courses at £38 per month.I became seriously unwell the same month and so couldn't start the course, I was hospitalised and subsequently, upon release, developed 'long covid'.After 5 months I felt well enough to start the course and contacted 'Coursera', NOT A PROBLEM, they said, just start when you want.I questioned them on the 6 payments I had already made for the course, only 1 more to pay.Coursera customer services came back to me BUT after a series of 'taking me round the houses deliberately style answers' which were quite sophisticated and hand crafted to create confusion and clearly mask the problem that I faced in a pretty clever manner and it eventually dawned on me, I hadn't paid for anything at all in fact. These people just keep taking money out of your bank account, forever, if you don't log in and take the course you've registered for.All you are paying for is the right to be able to login to the site, nothing more, cancel at anytime and you lose the right to even see the material you thought that you had paid for! This is a genuine unadulterated scam ...... if ever I have seen one, this one really is it.A genuine cash cow to keep milking.......No rights to a refund beyond 2 weeks following anyindividual payment. Courses might be ok, but the ethics and operation of the business are dreadful. ..... be very careful about doing anything other than a single non recurring payment to Coursera Log in and do courses under the audit method, no certificate at the end , but who cares, at least you won't be scammed out of a lot of money by them.Customer service quality of help and information - zero
