Avoid Auto Renew and Customer Service Script Drones

In Short: Never use the auto renew on mcafee services unless you want to get overcharged and avoid speaking to customer services as they are script reading drones that have lost the ability to think for themselves. The agents have no extention/surname to identify who you are speaking to so there are no consiquences to their actions.Disabled auto renew when taking out the product a year ago, 1 year later the auto renew happened anyway and took £79.99 from my accout without warning. Spoke to customer service who offered me lots of reduced prices and eventually advised I would get a refund.more than the 5 working days have passed and no refund. Called back again to be told I hadn't called up and got told again I would get a refund in 5 working days. Was told I would be put on hold but advised I didnt want to be and it happened anyway then when asking to speak to their manager i had to wait on hold again. customer advisor hung up on me.

Poor communication/service

I called for service on Saturday July 21, at 6:37 PM. After navigating a phone call and a link, I was informed at 6:50 PM, by text, that service would arrive by 7:50 PM. At approximately 8:20 PM, I received a voicemail that there was a problem with service in the area. Apparently only one tow truck company is available in this area at night, and it had closed. We were told to expect assistance in 60 to 90 minutes. Great Barrington is a very busy summer resort town and this was a weekend where I would have expected a more robust availability of tow trucks on a Saturday evening. Hours later, I received voicemail from a NY towing service asking if I still needed assistance. I feel the communication was very poor. I was continually told I would receive a text informing me when the tow truck driver was on the way. This never occurred. I tried multiple phone calls to speak to a person, only to be forwarded by the online system. It was after 11 PM when assistance arrived. If I had originally been given correct information, I would have had the option of getting a ride to my hotel and arranging for service at another time.

No Charge Back Based on Court Order

I have charge back request based on a Court Order. Initially their customer services Mxxx said they can look into disputes. However, the head of customer services Fxxxxx claimed it has passed 120 days which can not charge back. And said The merchant Quxxn Beauty claimed already refunded with no validation at all. Later on, when I sue American Express in Court in Singapore, Fxxxxxx claimed no charge back terms and conditions can be found from American Express at all. So the Dispute Resolutions and Charge Back code that I found online can not be considered at all by the Court???? And she bring out 1 copy of 2024 terms to the Court but did not even give me a copy. If there is no terms of charge back from Amex at all, then why I can not charge back after 120 days based on Court Order? ? Basically Amex Refused to provided anything terms regarding charge back, and they will say no charge back based on their best interests. Questionable transaction services fees got unjustly eaten and merchants got protected. Consumers are the ones that to be sacrifaced.

Heartless vacay property owner

I had rented and paid in full for a vacation property. We were due to arrive on May 29,2024. Our son died unexpectedly on May 24, 2024. I notified the property owner within 24 hours of our son's passing. I hoped for a refund since we had to pay for our son's funeral. We are not wealthy preople.The property owner has refused to return any of our money. Needless to say we are heartbroken and devastated over the loss of our son.We did not purchase trip insurance so she doesn't HAVE to reimburse us, but anybody with a heart would have done so. Avoid this woman Stephani Guzzardo. She has several condos in St. Augustine so be aware.

zero assistance for defective products

If the product is defective, the costumer service do not intervene properly. I bought an LG washing machine that was badly working since the first day and they told me to contact LG provincial customer service. The provincial service came to my home many times trying to solve the problem, but they were not able to solve it. I asked to replace the product but they refused and they only found a temporary solution. So one year after the purchase, the washing machine still vibrates excessively, moving around the room, and emits exaggerated noises.The experience I had is very very bad. LG customer service is of very poor quality: they pretend to solve the problem and only temporarily mitigate it, making you believing that this is the best they can do.So the options are: (1) all the LG washing machines are of very poor quality or (2) the Costumer service is incompetent or (3) they don't want to pay the reparation and leave the costumer with the defective machine.

Playground for scammers

Wish I had looked at the reviews before placing my order back in Jan 2021. Paid around £300 and still waiting for the item almost 10 months now. Campaign has recently closed after collecting almost £800k from backers. Also looks like Indiegogo is in this with them as there is no contact information even if you go on support page it keeps asking you to verify the email eventhough I logged in and reset password and logged back in.So basically indiegogo is encouraging and making some money out of these scams.STAY AWAY FROM INDIEGOGO

This platform just gets worse and worse…

This platform just gets worse and worse , I joined when it first appeared and it was fresh and more importantly FUN! Now it's turned into nothing more than a platform that batters you daily with nothing more than ads and content it wants you to see regardless of turning off every option , blocking and hiding all content , yet mysteriously these pages and suggestions pop up within seconds once again.Also you get a warning pop up if you use a word or a particular name from history the facebook police don't like yet the amount of terror groups, animal cruelty, sexploitation and groups with vulgar language in their titles is acceptable. Honestly, this platform has fallen so far into the toilet its staggering, I just wish the groups I'm involved with moved to another platform as facebook has long gone being socially enjoyable and it has no shame making you the user a commodity for its advertisers .

Quality of designs is very poor

The quality of designs is very poor. You get "over 100" submissions, but most designers submit 10 of the same design with slight adjustments, or different colors. Submissions look like high school Photoshop class projects. I am not using any of the designs and 99Designs refuses to refund the $350. I don't understand how 99Designs could have legitimate 5 star reviews...

I loved the creative process

I loved the creative process, and had the pleasure of working with some great designers. It was hard to narrow down the designers for the final round, and even harder to pick the final design because the options were awesome! I LOVE my final logo. It's really wonderful - beautiful, professional, and very me. Loved all six finalists, and the winning designer!
