In Short: Never use the auto renew on mcafee services unless you want to get overcharged and avoid speaking to customer services as they are script reading drones that have lost the ability to think for themselves. The agents have no extention/surname to identify who you are speaking to so there are no consiquences to their actions.Disabled auto renew when taking out the product a year ago, 1 year later the auto renew happened anyway and took £79.99 from my accout without warning. Spoke to customer service who offered me lots of reduced prices and eventually advised I would get a refund.more than the 5 working days have passed and no refund. Called back again to be told I hadn't called up and got told again I would get a refund in 5 working days. Was told I would be put on hold but advised I didnt want to be and it happened anyway then when asking to speak to their manager i had to wait on hold again. customer advisor hung up on me.
