Great Performance in Difficult Circumstances

Given the recent bad weather in Dubai and the understandable delays, Emirates staff were professional and courteous at all time. In all, we got into Manchester just 3 hours late which was impressive.We finally got out bags today, 9 days later. We are very grateful for this.In future, Emirates could do more about communicating and updates to customers.No SMS update.No phone accessNo PIR number.Did have updates on the website.

A complete joke of a company

A complete joke of a company! They claim to be doing as much as they can to catch cheaters but this is absolutely not the case. Why would any money hungry company that is looking to monopolise the online chess market ban the hands that feed them? They’ve got way too greedy and are sacrificing fair play for financial gain. I also agree with a previous reviewer with respect to why Russian flags are banned but Israeli ones are not? Clearly to them war crimes are restricted to certain nations. Avoid and look for better alternatives.

Writing this as a warning

Writing this to warn anyone buying flights from booking.com. My original flights were cancelled by the airline, and I was able to change my itinerary quite easily through booking.com. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. My itinerary on booking.com was updated to the new flight. The day before my flight, I tried to check-in, only to have an alert come up that I wasn't able to. I contacted booking.com and was told that everything was ok, that I had a ticket. I woke up worried the morning of the flight and contacted booking.com to double check, and was again told that yes, my booking was fine, I had a ticket number. I made sure to arrive at the airport early, and thank god I did. There I was told that I had a booking reference but there was no ticket attached to the booking. There was nothing the airline desk could do, and I needed to get in touch with my travel agent. The next two hours was spent on the floor of the airport trying to explain the situation to multiple booking.com customer service people, who kept telling me it was the airline's fault and there was nothing they could do. I got in contact with the airline only for them to say that, yes, they could see my booking reference number but there was no ticket attached and so nothing they could do. I then had to go back to booking.com, who continued to insist that nothing was wrong with my booking. The flight was long distance—going 28 hrs home to see my father after his operation—and by this time, I'm stressed out of my mind watching the clock count down to the gate closing. My sister who I was texting found some small print saying that if an itinerary is changed, Booking.com must process a completely new ticket, which they hadn't done. So I relayed this to customer service who just kept blowing me off. It seems that no one who works for their provider Go-to-gate has any idea what they are doing. With thirty minutes to go, this absolute angel from the airline said that she'd spoken to the one person who could get me on the flight and they were calling the airline's head office. She said she sees this type of thing weekly with third-party bookings. With literally ten minutes until check-in closed, this angel managed to get me on the flight, no thanks to booking.com. I was an absolute wreck by the time I boarded the flight. When I got to my layover, I had an email from booking.com saying they'd resolved my ticket (it would have been too late for me to board the plane) and that they could see I'd gotten on the flight so I couldn't claim insurance—which just felt insulting because it was pretty obvious that I wouldn't be able to claim insurance—but after all the stress, a simple apology would have been nice. This looooooong review is purely to warn anyone else booking flights through booking.com—if your original flight is cancelled MAKE SURE they reissue you with a new ticket and insist they check this has been done. I'd even call the airline to check. I would hate anyone to have to go through what I went through!

Mobile phone purchased with Amazon was lost, now chasing refund for nearly a month

Purchased a mobile phone, paid for next day delivery, no delivery. Amazon said delivery delayed and would be next day, next day no delivery. This went on four days, then update on order stated item lost. Asked Amazon for refund, they said it takes up to 30 days, as they are waiting for return of phone. Even though their system says item lost. Customer service is terrible, no help. 20 days and still waiting on refund. Update on refund - Still no refund after 7 weeks, terrible customer service. Just keep getting fobbed off. Now going to contact my bank to report this.

CHARGED ME OVER £250!!!Have 1 device, charged me 160 quid out of nowhere. Found out I was being auto renewed and that I was on an all inclusive promotional offer before for unlimited devices despite having 1 device. Rang CS, got that cancelled and then she accidentally charged me twice for 1 device subscription. So now I have to wait 2-5 business days for a refund of over 210 quid during a cost of living crisis...

Agoda Protects Scam Listings!

I booked a villa called Loket Lofts in Bingin, Bali through Agoda, only to find it completely unlivable upon arrival. The unit had no curtains, and the direct sunlight made it impossible to use the living space without getting burned by the sun—it was like being in an oven. I immediately contacted the owner, who agreed to a full refund—but then ghosted me. Agoda's response? "We can’t reach the owner." That’s it. No real help, no enforcement, nothing. Later, Agoda admitted that Booking.com was actually the middleman in my booking, yet neither platform took responsibility. Agoda markets and profits from properties that do not meet basic living conditions and then refuses to take responsibility when things go wrong. Their so-called "support" is useless, and they’ll leave you fighting for your money with unresponsive owners.If something goes wrong with your booking, expect ZERO protection. I’ve now had to file a chargeback with my bank and warn others—avoid Agoda unless you’re willing to risk being scammed!

Zillow customer service is horrible. There is no way to contact a live agent and do not even bother attempting to leave a message and get a call back. The HELP site is completely worthless. I am very frustrated and out on an island with Zillow for rental listing support. IF Zillow reads these posts and would like to help, I welcome a response.

Howdy partners, I can find no way to leave a comment on Spotify so I am leaving it here under reviews. TIMES ARE A CHANGING...BLM! Well all lives matter, but... HANK WILLIAMS JR. has said “keep your “CHANGE” in racist comments about Obama. He is an extremely hate filled racist and homophobe. For a small taste take a look at “Dinosaur” lyrics where he berates “gay guitar pickers” and “Donna Summer”. In his more recent live shows he yells “Cock****ers!” in between the lines to this song. He also talks of when he met a black man and the speaks in an extreme caricature of a black man’s voice when reiterating what the man said to him. Do not be a part of those moments. Be a part of THIS moment as “The Chicks” have done. He has admitted he is a “Dinosaur”, and it is most definitely time for the extinction of his songs that include racist, homophobic, hate speech. I support his right to make them, and much more enthusiastically support yours to remove them from your catalog. I will even go up to five stars if you take the initiative ;) Thank you kindly!

Worst custimer service of any industry

So I bought an ASUS ROG Maximun Z690 Extreme Glacial motherboard to the tune of 2300 dollars on amazon, was super excited to get it, and due to previous issues with fedex and ups, was recording the unboxing to have proof it was damaged upon receipt. When I removed the motherboard from its packaging to inspect the health of the socket, I initially missed the damage to the board, but the camera didnt. 4 of the VRM's had broken solders on one side. I noticed the damage later that evening when I clocked out from work and immediately sent an email with photos to the vendor on amazon and also ASUS, the vendor wrote back apologizing for the inconvenience and offered any help they could, along with eventually issuing a refund, ASUS however, despite video and picture evidence, decided to call it "Customer inflicted damage" and refuse to repair or replace under warranty.BUYERS BE WARNED: ASUS will absolutely not take care of their customers regardless of evidence or amount of money spent. Go read through their warranty, it has more backdoors, loop holes and scape goat clauses than a third party bumper to bumper car warranty.If you cant afford to eat a 2300 dollar loss, if you are on a time constraint to get a build completed, do NOT go with ASUS. You're rolling the dice if you do.

Second washer machine in 6 moths costing £800 each floods house customer service dreadful now on thrid machine thats broken down within 8 weeks they refuse to sort the issue. advised to get another washer by customer services so i did then they will not issue a refund LG not fit for purpose
