SHOP PAY UK or Shopify-used it to pay for goods, only to realise company I bought goods via them is a scam. Shop website says to contact the retail company first-they dont exist their website has disspeared. Clearly no due diligigence checks by this company to check they have authentic retailers allowed to use their pay app. So where is my refund?? Unable to get ANY customer service from Shop UK..Dont use. Avoid.
Review of facebook
Complete garbage filled with scams and porn reels. Don't recommend that anybody uses it. I was on it in 2024 and it's so much worse than when I started it. If i had kids i would forbid them that they go on it even if they become teenagers I would not allow them to access any social media site because those sites have become toxic and yeahThe fact that facebook give me a banner warning proves that they do not care about improving the social media site.I was on it in 2018 and it was just so much better back then but now it's so much worse.Just boycott Facebook and let it crumble they deserved it.

Their sleep supplement works well for me, but just as importantly, this is one of the only companies I've ever subscribed to who actually has the courtesy and ethical fiber to remind people diligently of what they are subscribed to (they sent me reminder emails to let me know I was still paying for a monthly sub, and that I could adjust the sub easily-- which I did, since I had some extra). That's honestly standout customer service amid the usual thirsty treachery à la Amazon Prime. MBG doesn't have to trick me to keep my business. I wish this were a more common practice.

i closed my checking account at Chase today. it was an uncomfortable experience. To close, i had to show 2 forms of ID. I had my check book, showed my valid driver's license and a credit card. Then, the teller asked for a code that he would send to my phone. I did not have the phone with me and told him so, but he insisted. Well, I had shown 2 forms of ID already, my driver's license and a credit card. Why such a fuss? At that point, I wanted to terminate my business with Chase after 16 years so badly that I drove home to get the phone. The teller did all this with the blessing of his boss, the branch manager. i can't help but think my only transgression was closing the account. If Chase's system is so rigid that it does not allow for a human input (say the manager could override if she deemed I had shown adequate ID's), Chase should just run its banking business with computers. That would be a whole lot cheaper and less problems. However, I do believe that the manager had that option but chose not to be involved. Might it be better for her to just be lazy and safe?

The website is broken all the time. If it works on the desktop, then it does not on the iPad. Annoy use the sorting function most of the time. I don’t know which engineers and QA people are responsible for maintaining the website but it’s a terrible UX. Can’t wait for another good alternate to take over the market.
Review of duolingo
I hate it. It used to be so fun, the new format is unpleasant an un-navigable. I couldn't get past the stories, which you HAVE to in order to progress. After dozens of emails and screen shots back and forth, the problem turned out to be that I was clicking the answers in the wrong place...go figure, since there is no indication of where to click and the choosing of the answers was not consistent from one question to the next. The discussions are all locked. And have been for years. The masculine and feminine are often chosen as random answers, as are "vous" and "tu". It's a shame, really.
