Teamwork that made a guitar upgrade so easy

I went to the Lansing MI location with a goal. Judah was able to assist me with a couple of guitar trade-ins and a purchase of a sweet looking used PRS SE Custom 24. I really appreciate his patience and understanding of what I was trying to accomplish. Thank you! Special thanks to Scott and Jon as well. Awesome Teamwork.

Review of eventbrite

Extremely poor customer service - they help scammers

Seemed a pretty good service but we were sold tickets to a fake event and have been unable to get any help from Eventbrite to get a refund. Everything about their site prevents you from getting to support you need to resolve issues. Worse yet, the owner of the location where the fake event was to take place has reported the organizer of the event but tickets are still for sale to this fake event - total scam and Eventbrite not doing anything to prevent.

Was burnt on a flight from dubai to manchester when flight attendant dropped a hot curry on me and emirates and there staff have denied it made a complaint and they have closed it as they have interviewed all the staff and they have denied it, so basicaly because there staff where not trained to follow protocol on such a incident it has not been logged in any form of accident book and they never even cleaned up the mess, Now i have to get solicitor involved and other avenues as they have fobbed me off! terrible customer service and awful airline avioid at all cost !

Review of Canva

Ended up losing clients because Canva suddenly stopped working

After years of being a pro user, the service simply stopped working, became impossible to access from any platform, leaving me with unfinished work and unmet deadlines. It cost me a significant amount of money. Customer service is almost non-existent, I got copy-paste responses that obviously were never going to solve the problem and a lot of "bear with us" and "thank you for your patience" from completely clueless representative. Now actively looking for alternatives, I don't care if they are pricier, as long as they WORK. Anyone able to recommend one please get in touch, I can't wait to be rid of them.

Booked a cottage but had to cancel it

Booked a cottage but had to cancel it. Took out holiday insurance. Cancelled holiday due to being in hospital for a week and diagnosed with kidney cancer. Found that booking.com had also cancelled holiday insurance when we cancelled holiday. Despite booking.com promising we would receive full refund, they haven't.Very difficult to contact booking.com, our last contact was trying to get past a AI bot.

Review of booking

Terrible experience with Booking.com

Terrible experience with Booking.com. I’ve lost time, money, and trust due to their serious negligence and complete lack of accountability. I waited three weeks for a resolution regarding a refund for Lara Apartments in Rovinj (June 9), only to receive a flat-out rejection—based on Booking.com's own mistakes. Here’s what happened:Upon arrival, the apartment was completely different from the listing: no terrace, no natural light, old mattress, poor cleanliness, and no air conditioning near the bed.I immediately spoke the property owner, who agreed in person to a full cancellation and refund.I called Booking.com the same day, together with teh owner, and the representative Cristelle was present during the conversation and witnessed the owner’s agreement. The owner even sent a written confirmation to Booking.com, but from a different email address (not linked in their system).Booking.com gave me the wrong contact address—for an entirely unrelated property in Pula (which I had booked for July 7–9 and had no issue with). This error caused confusion, and they wrongly assumed I was requesting a refund for a completed stay I never complained about.Despite having clear written evidence and the agent’s testimony, Booking.com still refused to refund me. Their decision is based on false claims by the local agency and completely ignores the actual facts. It’s obvious they did not verify the case properly or care about resolving it fairly.Booking.com failed to protect me as a customer, misdirected me, and now refuses to correct their own mistake. Be warned: if something goes wrong with your booking, they’ll side with the property—even when you have evidence to prove otherwise.Avoid reserve your stay with them. They are dishonest, they don't care about clients.

If it were possible to give ZERO stars…

If it were possible to give ZERO stars I would. I have been with AT&T for over 17 years, all of my systems run through AT&T including every phone in my house, internet, cable, camera's, gaming systems, computers etc. EVERYTHING. However, that matters NOT to them. I am one tiny customer in the grand scheme of things and will not hurt their money in the slightest therefore they don't feel it necessary to do right. I have never asked for ANYTHING from AT&T. This 1 time after 17 years I don't have service at my job which requires me to use my cell phone. All my calls keep dropping on clients. I asked them about a booster. I was told by a rep that I would not be charged for the device. Then I get transferred to the person who can set that up and mail that out to me. This person then tells me it's $299. When I tell him what I was told, he transferred me to the Loyalty department. This lady told me they would listen to the call and if that was what was said to me they would mail it out to me but to give them 5 business days to do so (I told them it was the last 3 sentences at the end of the call - exactly where to listen at the exact moment it was said). I call today and they tell me they determined I was not told it would be at no charge which is a complete LIE! I was planning on paying originally.. then I was happy to hear it would be for free (without even asking!) so why the heck would I make that up?? At this point it's principle to be promised 1 thing when $299 is not even pennies to this company! I am changing to Verizon TODAY because that provider have service at my job and they refuse to do the right thing. Unbelievable!

There needs to be a zero star option!

There needs to be a zero star option!! This company allows scammers to operate within the system to completely rip off innocent persons. They have no accountability - if you like the idea of throwing your hard earned money out the window then by all means back this piece of $h!* The concept of supporting up and comers is good, but there needs to be better policies in place to prevent fraud. This company has NO preventative measures. BEWARE and DO NOT USE THIS CONCEPT IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!!

Review of CNN

CNN in cahoots in cover up of president JB mental deterioration

Stop lying CNN! The world is on you. Party’s over! For over 3 yrs you helped cover up & hide Joe Bidens mental deterioration. When anyone would remark on his behavior, his lack of press confer., etc, CNN would instantly LIE & defend JB & attack & insult anyone & everyone who dared speak what we all were thinking. CNN NEVER had America’s best interest at heart - you distort the truth and LIE, do whatever it takes, to promote your agenda. Why are you not covering BRICS? This is serious & important news. But it will put JB & 2%Harris in a bad light, so you pretty much swept it under the rug. CNN rarely spoke on Kamala 2%Harris as a vp- there was nothing to say. She was given ONE task- stop the flow of illegals coming across our border with Mexico. She never bothered to go to the border. She hee hee hee’s when asked. The world pretty much agrees she is a joke & a incompetent VP. She lies pretty much every time she opens her mouth. After JB/DT debate what was she saying ? “JB is tired and he just had a bad night” “he has been traveling, has jet lag”. She was part of the cover up- she knew if they waited till last min to expose him, she would be appointed to run for president. Democrats took away peoples right to vote for the person they want to run on the Democratic ticket. Why? because they know damn well 2% Harris could never get the support of democrat voters. She was the first one to drop out Biden ran. She only had 2% of the vote. She had no plans, no message, no agenda. She does not need any of those as She won’t be the one that’s running the country. CNN stop with the “we will save democracy!” BS. U & the demo’s took away the peoples right to vote for a president of their choice. There was no democracy in that. Puff out your chest right now feel a little powerful while you can because if 2% Harris gets in there won’t be a United States as we know it much longer.

Review of aliexpress

Item delivered to the wrong address - but it's my fault that AliExpress cannot communicate with Evri

I don’t know if it is okay to post two near-identical reviews for two different companies regarding the same issue but it is impossible to surgically separate them. No doubt, both companies will ‘respond’ with some copied and pasted corporate text telling me how to contact customer service or that the matter is being dealt with - proving that they haven’t in fact read the review just like they didn’t pay much attention to my attempts to communicate the problem. In fact, this matter has been ongoing for over five weeks and all that AliExpress and Evri have done is bounce me back and forth between them, essentially blaming each other but expecting me to fix the problem of their lack of communication.I bought an item on AliExpress on 17th April and received notification that it was out for delivery on 26th April. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, my regular Evri driver of several years had just moved on and temporary drivers were filling in until a permanent replacement was found.I later received notification that it had been delivered. I was at home at the time of delivery, there was no package to be found anywhere, it could have fitted through my letterbox but it wasn’t outside the front door nor was it in my ‘safe place’, my shed. I only have one neighbour and it was not delivered to them and the I checked the security cameras at the front of my house and the porch, there had been no activity.I looked at the delivery photo and didn’t recognise it. It showed my package on top of a pile of logs in an open woodshed - the woodwork in the photo had been painted white and all the properties around me are owned by the same landlord and are painted sky blue. Nevertheless, I asked my landlord if he recognised the delivery photo but he didn’t. I drove around the local area looking for anything which remotely resembled the woodshed but found nothing.I contacted AliExpress and Evri. Each time I chatted by text with AliExpress, I got the robotic patter about how important I was and how the problem was going to be resolved without actually doing anything. Each time I contacted Evri I was promised a phone call but initially only got standard looking e-mails.My Evri account has a What3Words link showing precisely where my front door is yet that link seems to have been ignored. I provided both AliExpress and Evri several photos showing my house and shed (comparing my shed to the deliver photo), screenshots showing that there was no GPS data for where the item was actually dumped.AliExpress demanded a ‘Post Office’ certificate saying that the item had been delivered to the wrong address despite them knowing full well that Evri had ‘delivered’ it. Towards the end, Evri kept telling me that they were investigating but despite there evidently being a business relationship between the to companies, they couldn’t actually talk to each other but instead used me as a go-between and ignoring the information I was relaying. At one point, Evri indicated that they were ‘liaising with the retailer’ but this just became another mantra until eventually they stopped e-mailing me.Luckily, I did have one e-mail from Evri that did acknowledge that the ‘courier had left the parcel at the wrong address’ but this did not satisfy AliExpress. After three weeks of being kicked around, I informed both companies that I was going to seek a refund via PayPal if I didn’t get a resolution soon. I even extended the deadline by several days but eventually I contacted PayPal who opened a case for me as I was too swamped with information to know where to start. I uploaded everything which proved without a shadow of a doubt that the item was not delivered to me.Unbelievably, I got an e-mail saying that PayPal refused to refund me! However, I immediately phoned them and within 30 minutes, they changed their mind and I got my money back.Fortunately, I have found an alternative to AliExpress and I will never shop with them again (I’ve said this before but not having an alternative was a problem which caused me to sheepishly return). I’ve spent A LOT of money on AliExpress (a shocking and embarrassing amount, if I’m honest) and they have lost any future revenue over a relatively inexpensive item. As for Evri, I can’t control what delivery company sellers use but I won’t be sending anything with them.Anyway, cue the AliExpress robot.[Reply to AliExpress]It should not have been necessary to seek a refund through PayPal. Your system rejected the evidence that I supplied repeatedly insisting that I should contact Evri when in fact YOU should have contacted Evri - you have a contract with Evri NOT ME.Your rather uninterested attitude in your reply (that PayPal have replied and it's all so long ago now so why should you bother trying to put things right) has done nothing to persuade me to shop with you again.

Review of domain

Crooks! Fraud!

I registered a domain name for five years (for about $58). Then, I got an email after one year saying my domain name was about to auto-renew for one year for $65! I reached out to them, and these crooks told me that when I registered my .com domain name, they automatically registered the same domain, but with .online at the end (instead of .com) for "free." Oh, yeah, free for one year then you're hit with huge fees for a domain you never wanted or knew you had! Terrible experience.
